obailala:The above quote rate of N306/$1.00 is Western Unions rate as at today, August 3, 2016; Money gram is N317/$1.00, World Remit has suspended their service to Nigeria, so one was not able to get their current rate, but it is not at par with the private operatives. You are still leaving thousands if not millions of Naira on the table by using them, especially for anyone that have a project in Nigeria. |
danjumakolo:How so? Do you care to explain? These recipients do not collect dollar notes over the counter at Nigeria banks and these agencies do not courier dollars notes into Nigeria...If anything, these remittance increases the demand for the Naira note period! These agencies keeps the dollar paid by the sender, they are forced to buy or demand Naira at the other end to pay the recipient, thereby increasing the demand for Naira and those money goes into improving the Nigeria economy. |
Iko5000:This is so true, anyone that still uses Western Union, WorldRemit or these other carriers to transfer money is a COMPOUND FOOL! I rarely call people fool and Yes, I have that in Caps! Otherwise, how do one explain, leaving about N70/to the dollar on the table, each time you transfer money? Western Union charges N306/$1.00, my black market operatives does the same for N370/$1.00...if you transfer just $5k with Western Union, you just left N350,000.00 on the table, if that is not foolishness, I do not know what else is. Though some black market operatives restrict the amount you send periodically, but there are many of them and they are very reliable. They have shops all over the US and their businesses are registered in the US and you must follow the basic rules of money transfer as established in the US, e.g income verification, IDs, etc. They are only called 'black market' because they are not recognized by the Nigeria government, despite the fact that, most of them are bankrolled by influential money bags in Nigeria who makes day to day decisions in Nigeria. |
rita25:I guess you did not read what he said, he never said, they can pad the budget nor did he say they cannot be investigated, he is merely saying that it is not the duty of DSS to do the investigation since constitutionally they are restricted to security matters. He also indicated that, the Police and EFCC have commenced investigations and that, they should go to the root of the matter. Somehow Falana, is saving the government from having this case dismissed on technicalities. |
Omooba77:There is no difference, death is death and if someone died as a result of introducing tribalism, that individuals goes to the same hell for which he anchored his disapproval, when echoing that, he does not want the killers to face the music of their deeds. The only difference is that, tribalism threatens the church business, the other one makes him looks good in the eyes of the public. Until we as a nation can analysis issues without emotional inclinations, we will not progress. |
Do you only ship to Africa? |
OP, na sign God dey show say, it is high time you break up with and that whatever you do, do not marry her. Otherwise, no bi only phone she go lost you oh? She host gold abi na diamond ring, necklace wey you go buy for am and you have to replace it. She go lost house rent, car, house key...in fact, this one fit lost a whole house and her kids--break up with her and thank me later. |
OP, correct your title....the car did not fell off the bridge, it was driven off the bridge. |
2kurupt:Dud, I take it that you are knowledgeable and at least know these things are not difficult and am not paranoid, I know how these things work. These are America companies and you are legally bind to disclose to consumers the type of information you are gathering, how you are gathering that information, who you will disclose that information and the specifics of the information you are gathering. I disclose this to my customer, else I will be in trouble. Go back and read Apple, Android and Windows 10 User disclosure agreements, the same agreement written in fine print that, you agreed to before installing those OS, they will tell you in details what the type of data they will be harvesting from you and you must agreed to it, before they will allow you to install the OS or upgrade it...then come back and tell us what Apple vs Android vs Windows 10 indicates they will be collecting and you will conclude that, Windows 10's is unprecedented. |
ALAYORMII:Possibly drinking poison together? |
ITbomb:Apple desktop PC do not harvest customer data to the level that Window 10 is doing, in fact there are very minute instances where Apple collect user data on its desktop devices. Apple mobile devices collects user data like location, etc but not to the extent that Windows 10 will. |
ITbomb:You are making a huge mistake in comparing a mobile OS to a desktop OS. There are countless things people do on their desktops that cannot be done on mobile devises or not suitable for mobile devices. Think of all your applications, software, programs and everything you do either on your personal PC, office PC, etc running Windows 10 been harvested including your location, contacts, searches, etc sent to be stored in a remote location. CEOs and company executives uses those phones, but they will give Microsoft a huge push back if they try to implement this on the server side, and if it an unprecedented move when done on this server side, it should be the same when done on the client side. |
Before upgrading to Windows 10, please google and read up about Windows data harvesting. This is the version of MS Windows till date that harvests lots of your data, though the goal seem benigh i.e. to give you "a personalized operating system", but if you are big on privacy, window 10 might not be for you. Yes, you can disable some of the privacy leaks, but don't count on it that, you will be able to disable 100% of them. |
firstking01:I don't think privacy violation is a concern, if no one knows the identity of the OP or his gf. Their escapade is still very much private, only that it is publicly private. And I doubt if anyone here can spot the OP or his gf in a line up of about five people. |
helovesme:Next time fly first or business class...kpelle. |
LORDOFAFONJAS:Trump will not win any National Election in the US, even if there is a position such as the 'White House Dog Catcher' and Trump is nominated by the RNC for the position, he will still lose. What we don't know at this point, is his margin of his lost...convention bounces are mere noise and should be treated as such. |
Cherishing:But na for Zulu tribe he bi wan create...until Angel Gabriel interceded on your behalf. ![]() |
They were been honest for a change, 99.9% of our problems are man made and self inflicted. In pursuit of any solution; if we can pause, then realize that our current problem is self-inflicted (kind of....self-offered), we will be 50% closer to the solution. |
E don set, El-rufai over to you....make the first move. |
You can customize your next of kins contacts on your lock screen. |
Irishrena1:You are correct, a broadcast domain is a layer 3 terminology, denoting commonly accessible hosts without crossing a routing interface/port or without the need to route, while collision domain is a layer 2 terminology, denoting commonly accessible hosts without crossing a switch interface/port and as you indicated all the interfaces/ports on a hub are in a single collision domain, whereas each interface/port in a switch is in it's own collision domain. |
saintdennis:The truth is, the reverse is also true, hence these Honorable were not arrested in the US...Nigeria Ambassador have full immunity in the US, infact they get away with low level crimes like parking tickets that even US citizens cannot...the worst that the US can do is to revoke their visa and send them out of the US. |
MadamExcellency:If they are telling lies and tarnishing the image of these honorable Reps, then the honorable can sue them and make a world spectacle out of them...They are drag America to a world court and dare them to provide the proof or face sanction for defamation, libel, etc....case close. |
dullardeen:If she travels on diplomatic passport, which she will off course use, even if there is a warrant for her arrest, she can't and will not be arrested. The US have to consult with the Buhari administration to rescind her diplomatic immunity and if the Buhari Administration disagree, the worst that the US state department can do, is to declare her personal non grata and ask her to leave. |
Irishrena1:Not a good move, CCNA focus mainly on a lot of theories and technology jagons that you will need as foundation. While preparing for my CCNA, it took me a while to dipher between a broadcast domain and a collision domain....and CCNA was by far my hardest exam till date. If you think, you have a good grasp of the CCNA topics, take a stab at the exam and see whats come...CCNP is now a specialization track, where you will be made to choose among CCNP Cloud, Collaboration, Data Center, Routing/Switching, security, etc....Though the Routing/Switch track, gives one a good spread....so you need a foundation like CCNA before venturing into CCNP.... plus passing a CCNA course is a prerequisite getting a CCNP certification i.e. you can take all pass all the exams needed to get the CCNP certification in your track, but you will not be issued that CCNP certification until you go back, take and pass a CCNA exam. |
dumodust:I think, I give kudos to them, they were just trying to equal the playing field by presenting a fake recommendation letter. If government employment process start hiring base on merit and not base on recommendations, then things like these will never occur. I guess their only crime is that, their letter did not come from the Governor, whereas other privilege few, who have the Governor connection and got the authentic recommendation letter still have their jobs. |
In a way, I do not blame them, the system that gives priority to favoritism is the problem and they are just trying to equal the playing field. For this to have any effect, they should also arrest those who gave them employment on the bases of that forge letter instead of filling the vacancy base on merit. Based on the premises of this arrest, it appear that; everything would have been just fine, had the employment recommendation letters came from the actual governor and this is what is wrong. |
Nihilist: Nihilist:Sorry, I was in a little bit of a haste and was typing from my phone...The highlighted portions above are want drawn my attention. All vendors adhere to the same IETF and RFC standards, Cisco's implementation of BGP or OSPF or MPLS is not different from Juniper's implementation and Cisco does not have proprietary to IPsec, GRE, QinQ, etc; all these are all industry standard protocols that must run seamlessly across all vendor equipment and as such, if I can configure an inter-domain routing or MPLS using a Cisco devices, give me a Juniper device and I can do the exact same thing, the difference is really some thing like, you able to work on MS words on a PC and now you have a Mac in front of you, Yes, the look and how it displays things are different, but when you get down to it, MS word works the same way on PC, Mac, etc...TCP/IP that is the core of networking the same, different vendors just wrap it differently. If you are an expert in Cisco, you will just be fine configuring other vendor devices, I know this from experience. Secondly, because license requirements and the expense, most companies have started moving away from MS Microsoft; everything you can do on a microsoft server or desktop can be done freely on an open source alternative, cutting done drastically on company's OPEX. The days when Microsoft use to dominate are gradually coming to end and they are now mostly seen on the desktop end of things. Networks are evolving these days, read more on Open stack, SDN, NFV, SON, etc, they are becoming dynamic, gone are the days; where I configure a Router and it is set. The concept of a window server as a Router should not even come into this conversation. We all did that in our labs as proof of concepts...but the truth is, the name Router is no longer was it use to be. Before now, we confined their functions to only be Routing (path selection) and forwarding (packet forwarding), which is essentially an OSI layer-3 function, but todays routes now operates at all seven OSI layers plus, they now do security, Intruction detection/prevention and a host of more. |
aaronson:Many people shy away from this, for the fear that the benefit of their organs been used as spare part might out weigh efforts to save their lives. |
Nihilist:Not true, the difference between those vendors is in most cases is just their syntax...If you are good with working with Cisco devices, you will be able to configure any of the other vendors appliances, just fresh up on their command syntax. Here in the US and at the expert level, people don't care....Juniper looking for an expert can turn to a Cisco CCIE holder and hire him immediately if he/she meets the other criteria they are looking for over the guy with JNCIE....Cisco, Tellabs, Ericsson, Nokia, etc can also do the same. |
Go for Cisco and don't stop until you get your CCIE. In anything you do, aim for the peak, Microsoft is loosing lots of shares in high end data centers. The future of networking and servers is turning to SDN and NFV and looking at early drafts of openstack, Microsoft is a distant memory, relegated to desktops and not considered for heavy duty cost effective enterprise or large scale solution. It is falling out of place in highly developed and technological advanced societies, only striving in government entities where tax payers money can be used to fund huge licenses...ask me, why will a business who want to minimize cost and maximize profit want to pay billions on Microsoft products and licenses, when you can implement everything free with Ubuntu, Red Hat Linux and open source supported community? Getting Solaris or UNIX is even better than Microsoft, if plan on surviving the new wave of technology. Note that, Microsoft will still have it's place, but it is shaping up to be essentially desktop roles. |
All na form, what do they mean by 'monitoring the situation'? Whatever it means, it means that they have not started investigation, else they would have stated that. Abi NDLEA don bi witch wey dey remote monitor activities? |
