The gang up has always been there and not just limited to West Africa, it’s just that Nigerians are ignorant of it. Gang up isn’t about border closure; it’s about resentment of Nigeria and for Nigerians being better than they are. It’s a flaw in the black character (crab mentality) that Nigerians seem to generally lack and why I’m hopeful about Nigerians and why I like Nigerians. The “Gang Up” would be nothing and the gangs would suffer for it in the end was Nigeria and Nigerians aware of what’s going on and attributed the real reasons for it rather than play hard and fast politics. In addition, they would suffer were Nigerians a grudgefull and resentful people. I'm a grudging type; I offend no one but will not tolerate offences against my person especially if that offence is visited upon me, like it is on Nigerians, from a place of jealousy. If Nigerians were like me there'd be hell to pay, West Africa would suffer. From what I’ve come to learn, I’m not a fan of Africans and Africans are not the innocents put-upon by the world. Nigeria is the only good thing in Africa as far as I can see.


Jamaican elders used to say, "Black noh good", and as an ardent Pan Africanist, i was resentful of that but I’ve come to see that they were right. Africans/blacks are possibly where they are today due to being as unpleasant, cruel and horrible as the rest of the world’s peoples’ but exceptionally back-stabbing types. And as long as Nigeria refuses to face front, put Nigerians first (don’t built rail line to Niger Republic, don’t build road to Cameroon, lock the borders tighter) look after Nigeria’s interest and forget Africa, Nigeria will be pull down by a racist world and Africa helping them. Look at Dubai, if not for knowing how Africa secretly resents Nigeria, would they act unfairly towards Nigeria and expect applause? If Nigeria were a country that harbours resentments would the Emirates go unpunished time and again after humiliating Nigeria which further emboldens them? Nigerians benefit Dubai, Dubai does not befit Nigeria.

Not a fan of Western constructing companies and financers, I prefer the Chinese. Both sides have points to prove when dealing with Africans. Western countries both stigmatise Africans and are informed in how they deal with Africans by the very stigma they created. So for instance when dealing with Nigerians they may look to cut corners by bribing relevant local interests in the mater having prior told themselves that Nigerians are corrupt. Then they help you build substandard infrastructure pocketing savings accrued from cutting corners, knowing that they will be absolved of blame beneath the Nigerians are corrupt stigma. The Chinese on the other hand are keen to prove that they are better at helping locals with infrastructure than the West. They want to position themselves as empowerers of the downtrodden over Western imperialism with the long term goal of becoming the world’s premier economic and military power themselves.

Nigeria’s infrastructure is as poor as it is today due to being short-changed by the Western companies that exploited Nigeria’s requirements. At best they patronisingly built us second rate stuff when not exploiting our negative reputation i.e. ‘You Africans don’t need the best, you’re not ready’ or ‘your standards are so low, this crap we built should be good enough for you’. Sometimes Nigeria engaged India not recognising that India’s resondetra when dealing with Africa is to exploit Africa in a nudge-nudge-wink-wink acknowledgment to white racism and views towards black people.

Sure, we should do things ourselves, I agree, such would be best; but, in the meantime, we have as much right as the rest of the world to employ local or international companies for all our infrastructural builds and expect them to do so with highest standards commiserate with the latest technique, designs and materials for the price.

Jonathan didn’t quite explain it and this is why: in my experience, Nigerians in all parts of the country get along fairly well cross-culturally. My own Delta state is an example. Delta states is diverse in her own right but the oil industry also attracted indigenes from all over Nigeria in large numbers in addition to foreigners and all get on fairly well. I suspect that the difference between the South West and the rest of Nigeria is in being blessed, possibly, with more tolerant or wiser leaders than the rest of Nigeria. Political leaders and leaders generally are the ones stoking divisions not ordinary Nigerians. I do concede that Yoruba leadership wouldn’t t be more affable, tolerant and wise were those traits not more widespread among the Yoruba race than others.

US seizes 36 websites with links to Iran, accusing them of spreading disinformation

Most of the websites were used by the Iranian Islamic Radio and Television Union but three were operated by Kata'ib Hizballah.




Dozens of Iranian-linked websites have been seized by the US Justice Department.

Many of the 36 websites are violent organisations or associated with spreading disinformation, the department said.

They were all taken offline for violating US sanctions, although several were back online within hours with new domain addresses.

The DOJ said 33 of the websites were used by the Iranian Islamic Radio and Television Union (IRTVU) and the other three websites were operated by Kata'ib Hizballah (KH).

The IRTVU was named by US authorities in October as a source of disinformation ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

Among those affected were Press TV, the Iranian government's main English-language satellite television channel, and Al Alam, its Arabic-language equivalent.

Press TV news presenter Marzieh Hashemi told The Associated Press that the channel was struggling to "figure out the reasons" for


The channel looks mainly at international affairs, but criticism of US and UK foreign policy is common and the Anti-Defamation League has called the channel "one of the world's leading dispensers of conspiratorial antisemitism in English".

Kata'ib Hizballah, also written as Kataib Hezbollah, is an Iraqi militia group with links to Iran.

The US designated it as a foreign terrorist organisation more than a decade ago.

Despite sanctions, IRTVU and KH failed to get the required licences from the US government before using the domain names, the Justice Department said.

Relations between the US and Iran have been tense for years and worsened after Donald Trump pulled the US out of the Tehran 2015 nuclear deal while he was president.

In response, Iran gradually abandoned every previous limit on uranium enrichment, and is currently enriching uranium to 60% - its highest level ever, although it is still short of weapons-grade.

Just days ago Ebrahim Raisi, Iran's former judiciary chief, was elected president.

Known for being anti-West, he has ruled out meeting US President Joe Biden for talks on Iran's ballistic missile programme and support for regional militias, such as Lebanon's Hezbollah and Yemen's Houthi rebels.

Doctors the world over seek employment in nations other than of birth or and training. Uk trained doctors emigrate to US, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and vise versa. If a Nigerian doctor wants to practice abroad just provide him with the information he wants without underscoring your advices with politically informed digs at the country.

When contracting abroad for infrastructure builds, it saves long term employing reputable firms.
