IamCeazer:What has Naija to do with this sad tragedy? Individuals fall to their deaths in similarly situations all over the world. And, actually, this type of accident is a Hollywood mainstay because it is so common. You’d be on safer ground faulting Nigeria for your ignorance. |
Guestlander:Nigerians shut down many debates by arguing correctly that Lagos's economy alone is larger than that of many African nations. Some may jealously long for the destruction of Lagos’s economy. This is the mentality of the African. It’s as if too many have tiny brains at the centre of skulls full of putrid fat that suffocates any progressive reasoning trying to surface. |
One of the top reasons for endorsing trump among the African Americans that support Trump, is immigration. Many African Americans feel aggrieved that, according to them, immigrants from Africa and Asia enjoy benefits that African Americans feel that they fought and died for without respecting them. Top of African American ire are Nigerians. Nigerians, as the latest Model Minority, was the final straw. From the outset, Trump understood this dynamics, which is one reason his immigrations utterances and to some extent actions, target Nigerians disproportionately. Nigerians really shouldn’t be endorsing Trump. Unfortunately, as I keep pointing out, Nigerians don’t seem to understand the world. |
Years ago, a Nigerian on Youtube commented that Gays and Lesbians should not endorse Obama because Obama was willing to let hundreds of thousands of Nigerians die at the hands of Bokoharam, by sanctioning Nigeria’s ability to procure US military hardware, due to Nigeria’s anti gay stance. The Nigerian stated that gays should tell Obama, “not in my name”. An African American replied to the Nigerian, he stated that the Nigerian obviously knew nothing about gays and lesbians. The African American stated that as an American he knew many gay and lesbian people. He informed the Nigerian that gays and Lesbians are the most selfish people one could ever hope to meet when it came to their sexuality. He told the Nigerian that gays would happily watch billions die if it meant that they go indulge in their sexual lifestyles. The need for Ass and to rub cloaca together is strong in gays and lesbians respectively. |
Mayng01:So, if it shows mass killings, video is true but if it does not show killings, video was doctored. That’s like a tossed coin, heads you win, tails they loose. |
Jakemedg:Why do you people lie to yourselves this way? This 'poverty capital of the world' crap was made up as a weapon to attack the sitting government. Now you are wallowing in the lies. India and many other African nations remain the poorest nations in the world. Besides this, poverty is no excuse for lack or morals. During the Nigeria civil war when people starved in the East, people eat mice, grasshoppers, insects, grass and all sorts, yet people helped one another and shared what little they had. When Red Cross dropped food aid, people lined up and never fought for grain though in rags, hunted by flies and often walked hundreds of miles to get to any such food distribution centres. These Nigerians only rushed for items when the Chinese dropped sack of grains from airplanes and even then the strong shared what they collected with the weak. Thankfully though, much of the reporting on Nigeria are based on lies and manipulations. Therefore there is no real cause for despair. Nigerians remain the kindest people in Africa. |
American independence 1776 Nigeria independence 1960 American population 330 million Nigerian 201 million American GDP 65,280 USD (2019) Nigerian 2,230 USD (2019) 244 Years of American Independence 60 year of Nigerian Independence. Is America not worst than Nigeria in real terms? |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AOdJDajXhs I find it fascinating how calmly African Americans react when police begin brutalising a black person in front of them. It’s as if their experiences with US police brutality have thought them that if you react wildly you too will be shot dead. ![]() |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDWYd7n7isA Army shouldn’t do police work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8JSQZQLcK8 But then police... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xiV-5NHAE0 I imagine if US Army spend as much time in police work as Nigeria military does, their record would be worst. |
Tayoalaaye75:Lol, desperate economic sabotage but it won’t work. Actually, the desperation illustrates this. If you’re that happy in that country why not shut up and enjoy your life there. You will not because you people feel that your survival depends on Nigeria breaking up. But that is ultimately a stupid plan, a typical primitive African brain type of plan. Best you people work on fixing your shithole countries and survive on your Binios (Dahomy) or Ghana terms, instead of handouts from your white colonial masters, without broadcasting Nigeria’s name all over the place, sneaky dishonest cowards. |
elisho:Thanks My prayer for you is that you grow up and receive wisdom and enlightenment. May the clouds that darken your horizons be lifted, and may you emerge from the small, frightened bitter worm, squelching under the rock into daylight, turn into a butterfly and sail as high as you are able. |
elisho:I pray my life is like Nigeria. |
elisho:Nigeria is good country, you'll discover one day in the future traveling abroad. Meanwhile Nigerians need to appreciate they have a wonderful nation that needs loveing and improving because it is a third world nation. As far as I can see, and people around the world are beginning to discover, Nigeria is evil or corrupt depending on the party in power. Nigerians and others need to stop lying. |
elisho:Brazil police is worst than Nigeria's. Actually, police in much of South America are more brutal than Nigeria's police. Right now Nigeria's supposedly scary police are in many places in Nigeria frightened of turning up for work. Brazilian civilians dare not kill and behead members of Brazilian police. Can't do that even in Jamaica, kill police officers like Nigerians did, repercussions would be dire. Come to think of it, I can't think of many places in the world where civilians can murder police, saying they are angry, and not pay dearly. Perhaps, UK, maybe, but then repercussions would be a slow burner like PC Blakeluck... |
Protests are a vital component of a functioning democracy and we ordinary Nigerians must not let deviants and antisocial individuals sabotage future ones. Next time we need to police ourselves when protesting. It's a difficult situation but those of us able to or near where deviants are looting and destroying property need to stop them. I guess another difficulty has to do with the acknowledged aim of the protests we want to stage. For instance, I sense one reason Endsars protesters did not condemn these looters enough was because at a subconscious level many saw the protest as first stage of large scale political reform - don't want to use the word Revolution- instead of Endsars. Next time , or just generally protests need to be clear at the outset what they intend to achieve with the protest. |
Pergrace:US wouldn't be that quick to rescue your black ass had you been a US citizen and abducted in Niger Republic. It might have been better you stated, 'see better country that have thire 'White' citizens in mind...' |
Good idea; so good in fact, this may be the way forward. This is technically, psychologically and politically strategic. Technically: in situations where army is called for in place of police, the female soldier occupies a tougher deterrent position than police and less tougher and insensitive one than male soldiers. Psychologically: citizenry are more liable to respond respectfully to female soldiers. Politically: the entire world is more liable to sympathies with female soldiers attacked by civilians than they would male soldiers attacked by civilians. Indeed, the world is likelier to sympathies and find excuses for female soldiers that attack civilians. Consequently, the government is likelier than civilians to gain world sympathy in the event. Bravo. Finally, the Nigeria i recognize; the Nigeria of clever, imaginative people. |
More than 200 police took part in a major operation against the Nigerian mafia in Italy on Wednesday led by the flying squads of Turin and Ferrara.Abeg free them! If to say Italian governmet provide jobs, them go do criminalty? As long as no jobs the youth can do as they please, abeg burn Italy down, nonsense! ![]() |
Dibblez:Because Nigeria is at least as good as or better than all black African countries except South Africa. Hyped nations like Botswana, Rwanda and Namibia does not offer incentives greater than the Western nations like Australia, Norway, New Zeland already mentioned. If an individual must make the huge sacrifice required to uproot roots, what’s the point of opting for some poxy shithole down the road, they may as well go West... |
Naijboy:or ensuring evidence isn’t planted - suspicions can work both ways. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFtsq9_SEmY Next time, the greater Nigeria public should do as in the video above and also protect their private and collective public property from looters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adg5GhoijPg |
I suppose reason this government isn’t seriously pursuing Social Media legislation are, one, opposition will argue that current government wants to silence criticism and two the current governments would want to likewise uses social media unpatriotically against current opposition if current opposition wins next election. ![]() |
I'm guessing that like in most democracies, constitution prohibits police striking. If this isn’t the case, they need to go on strike in emulation of #endsars; #reformpolicingincludingpaystructure. In any case, the very least Nigeria’s poor policing aught be capable of doing is investigate, arrest and prosecute those responsible for murdering their colleagues. |

I reserve the right to post them also. Remind these people of the day we became Akaters like the African Americans we teased, a people betraying no evidence of home breeding, people going around brandishing the Oba's mace, wearing his slippers, debasing couture the very foundation of a peoples being. Worst, individuals’ online encouraging brainless people on the ground to loot, pillage, kill and burn in the name of opposition politics. So irresponsible because they are adding to the blueprint of how politics will be done in Nigeria. Next time, if they rule Nigeria, those ruling now when in opposition will do the same thing. |
Ratedgang:I don’t think you know the meaning of revolution, you possibly mean full blown burning things down. |
