Many thanks for saying the obvious. Lecturing jobs do not come by easily if u don't have the right contact to help u out. In my state (Delta), for instance, u can't get a lecturing job in the state uni or the three owned state poly without a recommendation letter from govt house no matter how fascinating ur resume is or ur academic achievements. This is a fact. U must come through govt house or the governing board of the institution. How many of us have access to big politicians to enjoy this privilege?

My four friends who are lecturing in different higher institutions in Delta today, never went through appropriate recruitment process, just a letter from govt house and they were employed, it's now they are running their PG programmes, they didn't graduate with first class o.

Go to this schools to submit applications, they would tell u they are not employing or the Secretary in the registrar's office would kindly collect ur envelope from u, but be rest assured that nothing for u if there is no letter from govt house accompanying that application.

Text messages were sent to subscribers who do not have complete information in MTN's data base to come register their sims as required by NCC. You know Nigerians, the way they behave, many people ignored the messages. That is the way they also sit at home during elections without going out to vote. Now, MTN sent you a message of free credit, you rushed to their office to go and collect it. You think they are fools? you have to register your line first before you can access the free bonus. long throat go kill una.

If you want the Company's licence withdrawn, remember that about 20,000 Nigerians are in the payroll of the Company. Not to talk of the numerous contractors, sub -contractors and others providing ancillary services. The government is unable to provide jobs for her citizens. Now, MTN came into the country to make live easier for Nigerians through job creation, MTN foundation -where many students have been given scholarships, sick people getting free medical treament, medical bills on surgical operations offset by MTN, renovation of neglected and dilapidated secondary schools, buying of books and equipping school libraries, buying of walking & hearing aids and wheel chairs to the physically challenged and empowering people through who wants to be a millionaire.

From all indications, MTN still remains one company in Nigeria with a human face. In as much as the company is striving to overcome its present challenges, they need to be encouraged by every well meaning Nigerian. Think about it.

How many times do I have to register my sim for MTN to have my complete bio-data and biometrics in their data base? Heaven knows I have registered my line for over six times right in their office and on each registration they would reward me with five hundred naira. I registered this same line September last year after they have blocked my line, they opened my line and sent me a successful sim registration message and gave me one thousand naira worth of air time which strangely disappeared also. Now, MTN is bombarding me with messages to go and re-register my sim. I have been using this line since 2005. For how long would I continue with this mess? I registered my glo and Etisalat sim just once and no issue since 2010 when I registered them. Is this fair?

Thanks for taking out time to inquire more about HL. HL is a heavier, taller camry in SUV shape (for folks who like CAMRY for their reliability and durability and simplicity yet dislike sedans). The 2003 HL comes in 2 engine variants, 2.4l 4 cylinder and 3.0l V6 engines all mated to a 4 speed auto which is either front wheel drive or All wheel drive. No HL is as fuel efficient as a Corolla which has 1.6/1.8l 4 cylinder. A HL is quite cheap to run and maintain. Doesn't break down easily, parts are abound and mechanics are abound. Its okay to use HL on rough roads because of their 4WD systems, skid off traction systems and their ride height, but don't take them to thick off road terrains like mountains or hard terrains.
I do lots of movement within Abuja and if I put say 7,000 of fuel in my HL which could be about full tank, I can use that vehicle for 7good days within Abuja traffic in AC and at the 7th day, it will be at the 4th quarter level. I'd advice anyone to purchase any HL because it's extremely versatile, a very good and very practical vehicle.

Would u really recommend the HL to a young average income guy as a daily use car? My area has a very bad Road and almost everybody in the area has started using SUVs. Please talk about its fuel efficiency in comparison to corolla and also the general cost of maintenance. I m considering a 2003 model. Thank u.

It is d highlander or nothing else. My neighbour has the ML 350 and I can tell u its maintenance and fuel usage is huge. It is a good car and has superb handling but this comes with a cost. My neighbour actually wanted to get the old model toyota rav 4 but d dealer couldnt get him one and so d dealer convinced and tricked him to get d ML 350 but today that car is now more on his garage than on d road. He board public transport to work and uses it only sundays to church. It drinks fuel alot and our mechanic would compound issues. Highlander is fantastic and cheap to run, hence most average people who want a taste of SUV go for the highlander.

Truth is I'm more of an internet junkie than tv except for a few of what I really like to watch (suits, blacklist...empires such a chore this season) anyways stuff I like I really like so I just download & watch with serious attention rewind when necessary, pausing when I need to take a leak ( PVR take a hike) Twitter isn't fair to you waiting 24hours after it's aired in America either, so I just download and watch from my laptop on my tv (see why you need the HDMI cable?) For news get the modbro app on android thank me later for this!

So sorry I can't really be of much help on your choice of content... heard some people actually like telemundo? Zee tv? Na wa! So really it depends on what you like to watch really. Don't really see free satellite tv delivering cool stuff ... but that's just me.

Frank opinion there. Many thanks. Truth be said, no interesting programmes/channels are offered by the so-called free satellite TV. It's better I save the extra cost for something else, no need going for it.

You wont believe that out of annoyance i turn on my HT (on radio) just so my money doesnt seem wasted! Annoying thing! Lol

HDMI cable or AV is the connection wire between the device and the TV.
The AV are those three sometimes two cables you connect your device to the TV usually red, yellow and white.

The HDMI however is just a connection that doesnt require the stress of identifying where yellow enters and all that nonsense.
Also It connects to most laptops so you can connect your laptop to the TV as well, thinking these days most movies sef are downloaded and stuff, when last did you buy a dvd? So with the HDMI you can watch your movies from your laptop on the TV

For me i prefer the HDMI sha.
