u can't do anything without dropping small cash
u'll see dem pointing fingers at other tribes as if theirs is perfect already That hypocrisy irritates me alot. You would hear them say: Nigeria is this and that and if given the opportunity we would do this and that. But their history and present is very contrary to what they profess. That's why I pray they get their country so that they can use that their "intelligence" to develop it. |

After going through this thread: Diezani Allison-Madueke Is A Commissioner In Dominican Republic ( https://www.nairaland.com/5909039/diezani-allison-madueke-commissioner-dominican-republic), have been very unhappy. The thought of sharing the same country with some minds hunt me. Why did some people praise the actions of Diezani? She just successfully impoverished Bayelsa people and Nigeria by stashing away the money that was meant to improve lives here. And why did so many people like the posts of some demented minds that commented on that thread ( I have attached some of them here)? Would Diezani share part of her loot with them or what? Do they know how many lives would have been touched if she had invested the money in the SE or SS? Why do we praise destructive criminals like her?

She is married to Rear Admiral Allison madueke. She knows her blood and Igbos will continue to stand with her till the end against this evil onslaught by Hausa-Fulani and yoruba( umu ekwensu)! They have gone after Oteh, failed. Gone after Iweala, failed. After Patience, failed. Gone after Oduah, failed. Gone after Onyuike, failed. You will fail against Deizani. StubbornGENIUS: 10:08am Smart Lady.Let me see how EFCC will extradite her for the 23.29 billion poll and bribery scam. And they even gave her international diplomatic immunity plus a ministerial position. It is finished! Anyway, who am I to weep for you. Congrats! |

Grayoso: Not respect alone. They are a genuinely hateful and vindictive people. It was not lack of respect thay led them to make statements jubilating what they perceive as the commencement of suffering and political dismembering of the Yorubas.
It was not lack of respect that led Stella Oduah to move malevolently and with blinding speed against the Yorubas. It is hate they pass on, through powerful and non-stop brainwashing, to even children in the womb.
No other Nigerian ethnic group would have done what the Igbos did on this thread because no other Nigerian ethic group is as hateful of others, particularly Yorubas, as Igbos are. I agree with you! Isn't this a recipe for another war? |

omonnakoda: You are quite daft
When YarAdua died Jonathan emerged president of Nigeria as dictated by the constitution with the backing of Yoruba and the rest of the South.
Obasanjo helped Jonathan emerge candidate? How??
How is doing that stabbing in the back?Zoning arrangement was for Hausa Fulani?
Young man please I beg you stop talking rubbish. It is clear you have nothing sensible to say. Only God knows who did you this way! Obasanjo influenced the victory of Jonathan in 2011 PDP primary against the likes of Atiku. Hausa-fulani are the main people in North and their arrangement states that the president must moved between the North and South, but Obasanjo supported Jonathan despite it being the turn of the north. See I no get your time! Use Google to educate yourself please -- am done replying you. And please learn how to hold a civilised argument with people. You don't need have to insult people to pass your message across. Wish you the best! |

Grayoso: They never will and the real danger for Yorubas, who they hate the most, is that they will quickly move to use every position of power to severe their 'pound of flesh' they will always remain devoted to cutting from us. Just ask Stella Oduah.
Long and short is that the North, far more cynical and distrusting than the SW, cannot trust Igbos and will never support them to be President anytime soon. Igbos should go and work on their relationships with the North who they love insulting 24/7 and leave Yorubas out of their 'betrayal' revisionism.
Yorubas are not the main group who do not want the Igbos to lead Nigeria. IPOBians should focus on that reality and accept it is the consequences of their behaviour towards others.
https://hive.blog/nepotism/@abusaheed/nepotism-favouritism-and-tribalism I think it is a difference in culture! Their culture does not teach them respect, hence the speed with which they abuse others when things don't go their way! |

What kind of mumu talk is that?
Do you even think before talking? What kind of mumu question are you asking? When Yaradua died, who should have been the president? Obasanjo helped Jonathan emerge the presidential candidate of the PDP despite the zoning arrangement they had in the party. |

And in 2015 Jonathan still got over 40% in the South West, how? Obasanjo had to stab the Hausa-fulani in back for Jonathan to emerge the president, and those ignorant souls in the first page just claimed his victory for Igbo people. What kind of greed is that?
Why cant Igbo people move on from their loss in the war. See how Nigerian they were in 2011 when they were "oppressing" Yoruba people. We should not allow Igbo people blackmail us for 2023 presidency! If they want it, they should work for it like every other person and we don't mind another Northerner ruling us in 2023 or this country breaks up. |

According to the OP, Igbos did these on other people's land? Indeed this is something the Igbos can achieve, if the Igbos can come back from War and establish Alaba International, Ladipo, Trade Fair, Computer Village and other Big markets and economic hubs outside the region, then I think developing our own region is the least of what we can do. Is this a lie, or being industrious or just plain stupidity? Why didn't they establish these in the SE? I can't wait for you lot to achieve your Biafra, and see magic you hope to perform. |

annex1: The hell I care where they go to? What racial abuse and stigma have white South Africans suffered compared to African Americans in America? They are already white plus have additional (known) citizenship from their parents. How will immigration to any other developed (and you know it will have to be developed) country be hard for them. Okay Again I ask why should people leave a country where their fore fathers have contributed to fight/ fought to end slavery, civil war, ww2, black segregation in schools, public spaces, seperate but equal, segregation in sports. Civil rights act? You are joking. Secondly, in terms of immigration. The one we learnt in Social Studies, do people generally leave a more stable, economic and viable land for a lesser and less secure one? If this is your remedy why didnt the Asians mass migrate from the US in the peak of the Anti-Asian Racism? Also in 1800s till early 1900s. If this is a solution why didnt they consider doing it. These periods are even later than when african slave migrations began. . So what do you think African Americans should do? |
Culture › Re: For Racism Against Blacks To Reduce Drastically, The Black Race Needs To Be Rich by llakes4real: 9:51pm On May 28, 2020 |
annex1: And for your second paragraph, when you say race, you mean AA? Or Africans? Please dont compare a white South african's genealogy in South Africa to African American's gyneology as its as it's a lot easier to trace the former than latter. For example Elon musk was born of a South African father and Canadian mom or Charlize Theron whose mom was German and South African.
Most of these AAs generation after generation of slave trade only know America as home so how or who is being defensive when anti-black American racism comes up? - you may need to explain. Where do you want them to go? Whether AA, or Africa, or any other A, we are all Negroid (Black) race! The migration of white South African is not country specific, but where they know they are a majority (aka a country that welcomes them). Musk was not an American before he migrated their to a name for himself. The same thing another black American would do if they have that option. Why must AA look for the exact country they originated from? Any African country that is financially capable of accommodating them would do just fine! During the first influx of slave trade returnees there were so many Yoruba people that were shipped to countries like Ghana and sierra leone, and are still there today! Do not use a continent or race's economic disposition as cause of racism. It is absurd. Even when the Chinese were migrating to the US in the 1800s, the Qings dynasty (1644-1912) wasnt doing bad economically and were doing well agricultural and even reducing tax burden and improving military(also in wikipedia) . So why then was there multiple chinese massacres and Asian racism in America. Even the Japanese who also suffered this were not under-developed - people who had fed well enough to want to fight the US and evade a whole France. Yet their japanese american immigrants faced the same anti-asian racism in America.
Immigration is compulsory, no matter how flourishing your country's economy is. People must emigrate for better living.
My brother. Racism has no genuine reason just effects. I agree with you racism had no bound, but "people dey look face before dem do am." There was a time the Italians look down on Chinese because of their economic standing. But today (before Covid19 o!) they are scared of the way the Chinese are taking over their traditional institutions like coffee shops. They have come to respect them for industrious nature and their wealth. Rather they all channeled that hate on us, because it is very easy for them to do. How many Americans would look down on a Japanese as against a Nigerian? I also agree that we must all migrate for greener pastures, but how you are treated in the place you migrated to depends mainly on the status of your home country! |

annex1: Discuss africa's under-development in another thread. But leave it out of discussing Anti-Black Racism. For 400 years the only business Africans learnt was selling ourselves, an initiative that was sold to us by them. Add the additional years they spent in colonizing and mismanaging us. Boss just Please! The whites didn't teach us slave trade! It was already established before the came to buy the slaves. The major market for slaves back then were the Arabs. And some intra-africa trades which used the slaves to fight their wars. You don't understand Gerrard59's point! Our race is always on the defensive when these events happen, because we are poor! Imagine if Africa was a rich continent and the blacks all over the world know they have another home, they wouldn't take all the shit they get from other places. All they need to do is relocate! Whites in South Africa are relocating from the country because they know they have other options. No sane, Africa American would do that. He would rather protest and manage the condition he has found himself, because he knows his condition there is way better that what is obtainable in "your home". Respect is earned! And Africa's success would go a long way to improve the respect other people have for us. |
Culture › Re: For Racism Against Blacks To Reduce Drastically, The Black Race Needs To Be Rich by llakes4real: 7:04pm On May 28, 2020 |
Africa can only become wealthy by producing things! And am pretty certain our wealth would reduce the wealth of Chinese and other Asians, because these people rely heavily on our market and our unproductivity.
Am of the opinion that Africa bleeds too much to the Asians. They just dump anything here even things we don't need. A poor man should not buy things he doesn't need! Why should Africa governments allow their citizens use the little forex we have to buy useless goods or services?
Our leadership are also very quick to bleed the country at the slightest opportunity. They award fraudulent contracts to foreigners without minding the resultant effect on the economy of their country. How would we develop with that kind of leadership?
In conclusion, Africa getting rich is going to very tough, but I believe it is not impossible! |
Culture › Re: For Racism Against Blacks To Reduce Drastically, The Black Race Needs To Be Rich by llakes4real: 6:23pm On May 28, 2020 |
Gerrard59: This happens because the vast majority of black people especially those in the dominant environment of black people - Africa - are poor. Same discrimination you mention happened to the Japanese, Chinese, Koreans and all other groups. They became rich as a race not as various individuals and today, no one dares disrespects them. If the discrimination gets too tough for a particular race, what do they do? They relocate to their dominant environment. White South Africans are doing same, Chinese Malaysians did same by relocating to Singapore, Brazilians of Japanese ancestry relocated to Japan. Question is: how many African Americans, blacks in Brazil, Britain and other places where they face discrimination can relocate to Sub-Saharan Africa? Very few because they are better off economically in those places compared to their dominant environment. Excellent response! |
