FSU: Multiple entry visas are given to everyone these days who apply for them and travel frequently. So, both Igbo traders and company executives are not discounted from multiple visas that others get.
LOL. Did I say Igbo traders are denied multiple entry visas? How about you teach your guy (afam4eva) about visas and then read and understand my post before replying me.

FSU: How many such companies are there in Nigeria compared to import and export business where virtually every tom dick and harry Igbo man with some cash to throw arond are giants? Besides, a good chunk of those executive also reside in the East. Nnewi industrialists and folks like Innoson Motors. I am not even talking of Igbos in Lagos who also make up a good chunk of companies executives in Lagos
While as I said earlier I am ambivalent towards this move by the minister, I don't know why you have to lie or be illogical in your support.

With the first in bold, that is an obvious lie. Most of the execs I speak of reside in Lagos and Abuja.

With the second in bold, you have said the Igbo exec is resident in Lagos. So why would he want to fly through Enugu? Oh, simply because he's Igbo right?

afam4eva: What a dolt.

I ask again, do these executives have their offices inside the plane? How will they travel 4 times a week abroad when a typical trip takes multiple hours if not days. Your logica is really turned upside down. Just go to sleep, when you wake read what you've typed again and you'll see how dumb it sounds.
Monkey. I can't believe you are still talking. First you were wondering how it is possible for a person to get 4 visas in a week. What kind of baboon is this? OK, I suppose I have treated your ignorance of multiple entry visas (and even citizenship or visa waivers).

Now, the next one is it's impossible to travel internationally 4 times because a typical trip takes multiple hours if not days. So I guess a trip to Ghana takes multiple hours and days. A trip to Egypt takes multiple hours and days? A trip to Equitorial Guinea takes multiple hours and days? Even a trip to the UK takes multiple hours and days? And I'm sure a trip to France takes multiple hours and days.

I suppose any trip from Nigeria to another African country or Europe is not International (in this mor0n's books). It's only trips to the far East (China, Hong-Kong, Malaysia etc) that are considered International travel. That's how you make it more apparent your world is composed of ignorant traders as you have a lot in common (since they are the ones who usually travel to the far East).

Oh, and one last thing. Yes, indeed many of these mobile execs do a lot of their work on the plane as they travel (developing presentations, proposals, pitches and bids). You do have no clue do you?

afam4eva: Business executives travel 4 times in a week outside Nigeria? Are you kidding me? Is there office inside the plane and how do they get a visa 4 times in one week. Dude, keep quiet if you don't have anything reasonable to say. Let's just fro the sake of this argument agree that business executives travel 4 times a week abroad. Tell us how many business executives we have in this country that travel outside the country frequently.
See how you just revealed your id1ocy in just one phrase (in bold). Their visas are all multiple entry and for multiple years. And some don't even require visas to the countries they travel. Dumbo, where are you from? You must be one of those I speak of; your small world is confined within a beer parlor surrounded by traders. Mugu. There are more mobile business executives more than all the Igbo traders who travel put together, and mainly because the business execs are not ONLY Nigerians.

afam4eva: What's there to brag ang boast about travelling to go buy products. It's not like they're going on vacation or something. The average Onitsha, Aba, Nnewi, Alaba trader travels numerous times in a year so what are you yarning.
You tell me. What's there to brag about having containers at the Wharf? And that makes them the highest group of travelers right? I suppose they even travel more than all those highly mobile company executives eh? We are talking executives who travel 3/4 times in a week, you are talking about people who travel numerous times in a year. You do the math.

While I am ambivalent about forcing flights to Enugu, I find it hilarious that some people believe that Igbo traders travel the most. That's what happens when your little world is made up of traders who brag and boast in beer palors.

CyberG: You wrote well until you said criminality is acceptable so far the victims are Alhajis and Kabiyesis. What kind of thinking is that? Sorry about your brother, but would it be right to you if another man's brother was kidnapped? That is exactly the import of your statement! Why not let criminality be criminality whether the victim is an ant or an elephant?
What he means is, these criminals are likely to blame the war for their plight. As in they were forced to become criminals as a result of the short end of the stick they were dealt in the war. With this premise, you would then expect them to only attack those who they blame for their plight; and not their own people.

JustCardigans: From most of the responses on this thread, it is a definite pointer that the whole d.amn world has gone Crazy. Someone raises a Genuine concern about Nudity in a Music video that would be watched by young kids and you guys jump in Chorus to label her a 'Hater'? To say that I am shocked by the responses on this thread is an understatement, there must be something wrong with the Air/Water in Nigeria. I feel Repulsed by the fact that the NBC does basically NOTHING to rein in some of the disgusting Crap passing for Music videos in today's Nigeria. To some of you that might be Ignorant on certain issues, Do you know that Rihanna's video for 'we found love' could only be played from 10pm in France and some other European countries adopted similar control measures. Are we more 'westernized' than these countries?.
My anger is at our local Tv stations, who are Bereft of Ideas in creating Quality wholesome content and just resort to flooding the airwaves with these meaningless videos at any given hour of the day.

NBC DO YOUR DAMN JOBS!
Good. She directed her angst toward the artiste. You directed your angst toward NBC. Can you spot the difference?

Such a drug can be used for so many diabolical purposes which of course include r@pe, murder or even suicide.

sdesert16: I must say, GEJ is right about Nigeria not being ready for state police yet. You could imagine how much the virus of corruption will spread in the police force if it was segregated to the state level when stuff like this is already hapenning in the federal level. May God help Nonso & us all, amen.
On the contrary certain states will benefit while other states will become complete war zones. States with sensible governors will simply be able to ensure they don't have baboons being recruited into their police force. It is then your own duty to ensure a sensible governor is in charge of your state.

So the only disadvantage of state police is the likely "abuse" by governors eh? As far as control goes, governors already control most of the police force stationed in their state. They fund them as well (through various unconstitutional means).

So, how about the advantages of state police? When you are ready to talk about those, wake me up.

Trust me they don't need to review anything. They already know the mugus who come collect 500k with or without Ghana-must-go bags as they were there (or were called and informed by a look-out) as the money was being counted and placed on the counter.

coogar: stop barking without biting - not everybody in the banking hall can be in a position to see what is being paid @ the counter. i cannot say for the community bank you operate in your hamlet where banking operations are done under mango tree! i have made my point, high denomination currencies are easier to count and much more comfortable to transit from one point to another. it now means i can have half a million in a small envelope without being marked by miscreants like yourself!
I doubt this monkey has been in any Nigerian bank talk less of collecting 500k in Ghana-must-go bags. Which palatial banks do you go to that are so big that the counter is not very visible? Or which palatial banks separate their lobby from the counter? You built them right? You only made your point in your head, and just for avoidance of doubt, na your father (as in your papa...as in that monkey that balanced on your mother to make you) be miscreant.

coogar: the availability or the lack of it would be determined by the demands of the customers!
if the bank is situated where big merchants operate then you can expect more 5000 notes than your community bank where the total cash in their vault is less than N50,000.....you lack wisdom and please quit these moronic lines of arguments and let other people advance their own points....
Oh, that palatial bank you go collect 500k from with GMG bags that does not have 1000 notes available (and then packs the GMG bag full of 20 Naira notes) can now provide 5000 note bundles due to demands from "big merchants" like you? So the availability of 1000 notes at this your "big-man" branch could not be determined by you? LMAO

hercules07: The cashless policy is meant to make it safer to transact business, if it reduces stealing all well and good, the police and efcc can still catch the corrupt guys by following the trail, I am more inclined to use electronic means of transacting business instead of physical cash.
Actually I was not referring to embezzlers. Some strange baboon claimed he collects 500k using Ghana-must-go bags. Apparently IT is not aware of the electronic means you suggested.
Business › Re: Conversation With Sanusi On "New" Currency Policy by logica(m): 5:12pm On Aug 27, 2012
coogar: goodness gracious!
don't you ever stop - you have to be close to the customer to know which particular currency he was paid to begin with. with a man dragging a GMG bag, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to know he's dragging money. one of them is more prone to be marked as a target than the other - that is the point! your username is logica and yet you display the attributes of an intellectually-sterile baboon!
LMAO. So the prying eye in the lobby is not close enough? The guy that came into the lobby just to be sure he knows who's carrying money doesn't know what he's doing? If it was to determine who's carrying large sums by judging from GMG-dragging-dolts (as yourself), does he need to be in the lobby? Was it not a few posts back you said robbers stay at the entrance of banks? Keep grasping at straws. Once again, only a zinjanthropus will go collect large sums of money that require GMG (and without being accompanied by armed policemen).

coogar: logic evades you.....
the plan is to mop up the worthless currency denominations and gradually introduce the 5000 note. there would be availabilty of the 5000 note and a bank can run short of any currency denomination at any given time.....it has little to do with the general circulation, another customer present at the bank earlier could have hauled off all the 1000 notes available for the day so what's your point?
And with the part in bold, were you being logical when you jumped for joy that now you can collect 2 bundles of 5000 notes, when there really is no guarantee that they will ALWAYS be available?
Business › Re: Conversation With Sanusi On "New" Currency Policy by logica(m): 4:52pm On Aug 27, 2012
coogar: look at this cretinous vermin.....
are you being paid to be obtuse deliberately? how would a man sitting in the banking hall know the exact denomination i was paid in comparison to a man who is dragging his bag along? with me, it can only be a guess if i was even paid at all. with the gmg dragging man, it's a no-brainer........for the umpteenth time, i have proven your intelligence quotient is lower than your shoe-size!
I must confess, I have never seen this kind of m0r0n before. Is there anything like "vintage mugu"? I was in the banking hall today, and I saw a man paid 500k right there at the counter. I didn't have to count it. They were bundles of 100k notes. It doesn't take a degree in rocketry to count bundles of 1000 notes knowing the color of the note, and knowing each bundle is 100k and 5 of such is 500k. I know, I know. For a mugu like you it's a science. This is the last time I will try and explain it to you, because I know you can never get it. A person present in the banking hall is not there to guess; he sees you being paid at the counter and he knows how much you got on you. If you were not a mugu in the first place, you wouldn't go to the bank to collect 500k cash.

coogar: they might have 5000 notes without having 1000 notes!
And this is a given right? Or why did you use the operative word "might"? As I said, what is the GUARANTY that simply because there is now a 5000 note, then they will be available even if the 1000 note isn't? Will there be more 5000 notes in circulation than 1000 notes? Now using probability, can you tell me how likely it is for a bank to have more 1000 notes available than 5000 notes?

hercules07: the cashless policy is also not affected as the penalties are still in place.
Fine. Penalties. Some people don't mind the penalties and still go collect 500k with GMG bags as you can see from this thread. Providing them with 5000 notes makes it easier for them; it's like an encouragement. Do you realize the reason most Nigerians (apart from those who use GMG bags to collect same) will not collect 500k is simply because of the bulk even with 1000 Naira notes?

LOL. Why won't you be banned? Eventually "coogar" too will be banned and what will you come up with?

coogar: you must have traded your common sense for a plate of porridge.....
whether exhibit a,b or c is deployed has nothing to do with the general modus operandi, fact remains smaller volume of cash is less obvious than a larger volume. if you cannot bend your mind around that simple irrefutable fact then you should sue your teachers for mismanaging your child development!
Obvious? So to somebody who saw you collecting 500k, it is not obvious you have 500k on you right? He needs to see the bulky GMG to know you have money on you. What is more obvious than what you have seen? And you think you are smart?

coogar: it is what the banks have as currency that they would pay with - and this is exactly why sanusi is introducing high denominations!
Jezuz, can anybody explain to this dolt. If a bank cannot have 1000 Naira notes to pay you with, what guarantees they will have 5000 Naira notes to pay you with?

Just to be clear, I was in the bank lobby today and some dude collected 500k; 5 bundles of 100k. I wasn't close enough, yet I knew exactly how much it was. It's not so difficult to figure. The money was put in a POLYTHENE bag. This is not the same as GMG bag. Now you may wish to change your story to polythene bag, as you are constantly revising your story.

Firstly, I must say I didn't expect much intelligence from you if you couldn't even get the spelling of your username right (spelling "cougar" as "coogar"; and don't even bother trying to put a spin on it to say it's intentional).

EXHIBIT A
coogar: what tip-off would a hoodlum standing at the entrance of a bank need when he sees an alhaji dragging several gmg bags out of a bank?
EXHIBIT B
coogar: must a hoodlum stand at the main entrance of the banking hall to mark a target? can't he sit in the banking hall like a customer and then mark his targets?
EXHIBIT C
logica: There is no robbery without information. Meaning they must have been tipped off (either by an employee of the bank or somebody present as you collected the money or the person you are paying the money to).
Can any primary school student in here check the 3 exhibits and tell us how EXHIBIT B differs from EXHIBIT C. And how EXHIBIT A significantly differs from EXHIBIT B? For one, EXHIBIT A is saying hoodlums wait at the entrance of banks and randomly select customers who they think have huge amounts (which of course is far from reality as anybody hanging around a bank exit will surely be harassed by policemen and security attached to the bank; so our man has changed his story to EXHIBIT B). While EXHIBIT B and C both say that the hoodlums actually target customers they KNOW have huge sums of money on them having witnessed them being paid on the counter.

But then, tell me if your story has changed from EXHIBIT A to EXHIBIT B (meaning you now agree with me), how will 5000 Naira notes help you since the hoodlum has seen you've been paid? Whether you are paid in 50 Naira notes or 5000 Naira notes, does he not know you have 500k on you? Or does the reduced volume (bulk) also reduce the value of the sum of money?

coogar: you then exposed your idiocy by saying one does not need a GMG bag to carry half a million - common sense should tell you that depends on the currency denomination you were being paid with!
So, you mean you go to a bank to collect 500k and you don't ensure you are only given 1000 Naira notes? Which kind of id!ot does that? You mean you tell the teller to give you 20 Naira notes? You dey go spray 500k for Owambe party? I am still trying to figure how you end up using GMG bag to collect 500k. But then, if you cannot even ensure you are paid only in 1000 Naira notes, what will ensure you are only paid in 5000 Naira notes? If being an 1diot you use GMG bag to carry 500k, I can imagine 5000 Naira note will not change anything: you will still collect in smaller denominations. Surely you have a love for GMG bags.

Go over your post and define inflation. Then tell Sanusi.
Lol. Surely a person who rejoices at being able to carry 500k and doesn't see how it contradicts the cashless policy will not know that limited supply (less cash in circulation) while keeping demand unchanged can lead to inflation. Though I don't think 5k note introduction will necessarily cause inflation. But I definitely know it doesn't help the push for a cashless society.
