Barcelona can actually play the same line-up that beat Benfica against Real Madrid. Only thing is the full-backs (Dani Alves and Jordi Alba) will have to do less of attacking and more of defending. This will of course take off a lot of attacking edge they provide; but they will be needed to provide cover for the center-backs as well as double-teaming the likes of Benzema, Higuain and C. Ronaldo. None of those 3 can beat Dani or Jordi for pace; which they can with Mascherano and Song. So I believe the outcome of the match will hinge on how well Dani and Jordi can provide cover. Also the pace of Pedro, Alexis and Tello (if he plays) should not only be put to use in attack; they will be crucial in defending as well (in providing cover for Dani and Jordi). In summary, it will take a huge team effort and synergy to win this game. I will also like to mention that Barca will need to manufacture and finish counter-attack moves; Barca is just as deadly on the counter as Madrid is. But the problem (believe it or not) is Xavi who slows down the play most times; and I have seen him pass up through passes that would have led to fast counter-attacks. And this is one area of passing in which Messi beats Xavi hands down. Messi is in my opinion the best you can find on this planet on the through-pass-on-the-counter. You might want to check this, but the very few times Barca scored from counter-attacks, Xavi was most likely not involved in the build-up. And as for the preference Barca has for mid-fielders over "natural" defenders; the concept is simple. The Barca philosophy is to keep the ball and build an attack right from the defense; and who else "naturally" knows how to keep the ball than a "natural" mid-fielder? And who can send a precise defense splitting pass all the way from the last line of defense than a mid-fielder? And here is the kicker - even Puyol did not start out playing as a center-back for Barca; he was a full-back/mid-fielder. |
pro01: it is extremely preposterous to argue that unfaithful women are just as culpable as unfaithful men - in spite of the fact that women do the accepting and rejecting.Guy you get time. From the argument being put forward, I wouldn't even bother joining issues with an airhead who sees this as "women getting back at men" and then saying it's the "philandering" men who are to blame; when obviously the only person who you can say is a philanderer for sure in the case of a married woman bearing a bastard is the woman. After all there is no evidence to show the men she slept with are philanderers (some may even be dating her exclusively and not knowing she's all over town). |
...and what I find a bit curious is the "you don't look Nigerian" talk I saw in the reports. I won't put all this wahala past Nigerian prostitutes actually using their friends in the Army to harass foreign prostitutes. Sebi they call it home advantage? |
UncleJJ: Make we talk true this girl look like member nowYou are correct. She "looks" like member even without dressing provocatively. But it is her right to "look" whorish and have tattoos and piercings all over and including her nip-ples. It is within her right to wear booty shorts all around town. I can tell you that I find some provocative dressing by some women obnoxious (especially those fat ones that force themselves into body huggers) but it is not my place or anybody's place for that matter to tell them how to dress. |
gReenmAn: Wow, I can't believe the knd of responses I am reading on this thread. You don't get it. When you share a country with some apes whose reasoning is similar to the Taliban; and who think our laws should be similar to that of Saudi Arabia this is what you get. |
pedestal82: This is a true life story on DNA test, I posted on NL, notAha! Another variation that explains why the first child is the most affected by this anomaly - she got pregnant and either plays Russian Roulette in selecting the father (who is then either coerced to marry her or he elects to do the 'right thing') out of the several candidates or simply goes for the most affluent/attractive one. But still similar to the point I made in my earlier post. |
ddippset: you do not know messi at all. no you dont. messi scores so much and assists so much. how could you call him selfish. i tell you if he was selfish he would score 100 goals. i could understand his frustrations with villa, even though he over reacted. when a game gets tough messi always drops back to the mid field. why?- because he is not selfish.Sorry o. Na you know Messi. But the really hilarious part of your post is in red. So you think it makes sense that Messi should continue to stay upfront in tight situations where he can't make headway and he is being tightly marked? Even without a coach's instruction, any player with commonsense will know he needs to shift to an area where he can get a hold of the ball when he's starved of the ball. Even out-and-out strikers (Ibrahimovic, Eto'o, Falcao, Llorente, etc) do this not to talk of Messi. So that is basic commonsense; not unselfishness. It's an act borne out of survival instinct, and not as noble as you try to put it. It is simply for him to have an influence on the game in a situation where he had been rendered redundant as a striker. |
Being a Messi fan did not stop me from being rankled by Messi berating a player in the caliber of David Villa on live TV for taking a shot at goal; especially when he was well within his rights to do so. I have seen Messi go for goal on so many occasions and miss when a simple tap in would have resulted had he made a pass from his position (usually from the side of the opponent's goal). A selfish Messi cannot benefit Barcelona or himself for that matter. Messi was most selfish last season and he broke goal scoring records; but the club only won a single almost inconsequential trophy - the Copa del Rey. And that must have affected the votes in picking Iniesta over him for the "Best Player in Europe" award. So if Messi wants to help the team and himself, he should create chances for others and allow them take their chances when it is justified. |
It's no surprise that first born children are those likely to be illegitimate. This is because of the tendency of the new generation women to date (and sleep with) multiple partners even right up till one of them steps forward and proposes. So what are the chances the first-born child will belong to the mugu that stepped forward when she's still busy sleeping with her "back-up" guys even up till a few days to her wedding? |
Stealthy: Looks like you misunderstood me slightly. Earlier in the match, Cesc had a chance to go one-on-one with the keeper, but back-heeled to Messi who was in a worse position to score. There were times when Sanchez & Villa did the same. Against the classic park-the-bus teams, we won't get so many chances. The reason is not far fetched - check Messi's spat with Villa last weekend (Villa was well within his rights to shoot for goal). It appears Messi had been granted the privilege to shoot/score while others haven't. |
Igweka: Can this judgement bring back live to the dead girl? Vanity upon vanity. If i may ask how many times naija judges sentence arm robbers to death by hanging, those that killed police men what judgement do u pass. Judge not or u shall be judged. Remember the blood of that police officer is on ur neck,u wil give account on the last day before God.Abi were ni eleyi? |
Msauza: I might be wrong about the dates but what does it tell you about independence of SA. I repeat myself again 1994 marks the freedom day and not the independence day. South Africa had always been independent from colonial rule even during apartheid era. We as blacks we were fighting for our freedom and not independence. Independence from who because SA was not under Britain by then? We fought for FREEDOM. AMANDLA, VIVA ANC VIVA!!! VIVA communists VIVA, EkhongoloseSo as a South African, you couldn't even get the day you claim to be your independence day right? |
Well; they should give all Nigerian policemen first row seats at the gallows on the day of his execution. |
aishatua1: A self employed oil dealer before his foray into armed robberyOh ohhhhhhh! Now I know what all those guys that introduce themselves as "Oil & Gas Dealer" actually mean. |
werepeLeri: This thing pain u gangan o. LOL. Catching fun here. I never knew you are a Boko Haram, I wouldnt have wasted time on you bas.tard. Go prepare more bomb to bomb your goatie bearded head.Lame a$$. Who asked whether you were catching fun or a disease? Be gone and stop polluting the thread. |
werepeLeri: Allah? See twert dey mention that name. Dummy smelly mouth. Imbeci.le - i know your Dad calls your Mum those three names, Monkey and eeeediot and retarde/d...and she answers - hey buffon. LOL. Allah indeed.Yes o! Allah be praised that your father is scratching his crotch after fvcking your werepe infested mother's stinking hole. Isn't that how they came to name you "werepeleri"? K'o baje fun e. |
werepeLeri: Loud smelly mouth. A simple question was asked, you come bring your smelly mouth like say na you know everything? Duncey duncey dunc.e. I don steal your grandpa idea before? Can you even come up with an idea worth my effort in reading talkless of stealing it? mtcheewww. Gerrout. Answer simple question instead of playing over sabi house wife wey dey call him husband Uncle.Who go help this ediot answer hin s.tupid question? Continue waiting for answer. Monkey. But if not for the fact that you are retarde.ed you would have seen the answer in my post: *hint* it is customary to be informed if your idea/proposal is now new. Are you feeling a twinge of guilty conscience? Even monkeys can feel guilty. Allah be praised. |
werepeLeri: Why will someone say the bolded?Guy are you one of those idea thieves being spoken about here? Surely you know what is being spoken about here. If an idea is not new and other proposals of the same nature had been submitted, would it not be normal for the proposer to be so informed? Or what would explain the recurrent theme of being strung along just long enough to get a working knowledge of the idea before being jettisoned? |
Drzed, You did well. We need to test the judiciary more. That is the problem we have. We have since lost our trust in the judiciary and we need to gain it back. If I tell anybody (even my wife or girlfriend) that I plan to take somebody or a company to court, I will likely hear something like "Please let it go; I don't want wahala." That is the mindset that has allowed the empty headed execs and government officials get away with plagiarism and outright theft almost all the time. |
Ishilove: Dude/Dudette, you really need to stop your blabbing. You don't know me from anywhere so stop your ignorant presumptions.Hey...you made your assumptions...I made mine...do you mind continuing? |
Rooneyboy: See this brain washed m.o.d.a..f.u.o.k.aYou know their type eh? The only way they can get any action is to be the "good guy". |
Ishilove: I feel sorry for your parents. It is your kind that often fall the hardest. Oloshi. But it is your type that fall and cannot rise again. |
I wonder how many more of this will happen before the citizens force a police reform either through the Senate or simply joining the police force. |
navygrl: Ozzy Osborne is proof enoughWeed is actually mild compared to what Ozzie takes. |
Lovine: Jesus died and resurrected and is still alive and kickingReally? He plays for Barca or Man U? |
Originakalokalo: In Quran, jesus was mentioned but mohamed was not mentioned in the bible.that is a food for thought. How can Mohammad be mentioned in a book that was written 400 years before he was born? Yep Jesus and a whole bunch of Old Testament characters also appear in the Quran. No surprises there. |
ehie: die motherfuckingpsychcostalkerpervertassholefoolhomofaggotgreendickhalitosistongediebastard^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Oops, still alive. Apparently she's referring to her father. Back to regular programming. If I recall we were discussing Mikel's "mistake" and deleting his twitter account after racial abuse, before some psycho scorned b!tch came here barking about his private life. |
ehie: stalker...what are u always follown me,i try to ignore you but you prop up like a monster in a cheap horror flick..why r u always on Nland,do u have a life....leave me alone Logica.last post from me to youAbi were (as in mad-woman) ni iya eleyi. Stalk who? Who the fvck are you? Where do I know you from? FYI, if I have ever responded to you before I don't even recall. I don't really study nonentities. Stalk? Don't flatter yourself. |
Joeadamu86: As far as I am concern that goal was not caused by Mikel,John Terry left his marker, and Petr Czech would have done better,it was more of a defensive blunder than passing error.Abi? I watched the replay of the move leading to the goal. It was the general consensus that it was JT's fault. Nobody mentioned Mikel. JT tried to play offside but his reaction time was over a second late. |
ehie: if he was smart he would but anyone dumb enough to destroy bridges instead of building them will be too dumb to invest into tangible projects,he will probably have people around him to stroke his ego, telling him he is the Sun God and the morning star, and he will be carryn his nose up in the air associating with only the uber rich, anyway make we dey see since i aint God,but he is being set up for a big fall.I always love to read the analyses of the lives of the rich and famous (and well-to-do) from nonentities and ne'er-do-wells. At least we've come to know Mikel, and if he crashes as you hope, he still lives in the anals - Came, Saw, Conquered. But who are you? Who speaks about you? Invest more time in your life so that others can analyze your life online as you are doing here. |
