FamilyMad Woman Recognises Her Albino Son After 17 Years. See How Things Went by logicalhumour(op):
This happened at Ugba, Logo LGA Benue State. @ about 6:55 pm on Friday (I delayed so I could write the whole story)

We have known the Albino guy for a while... one of the closest persons to him and his family.
He had told us times before how his mom left home 17 years ago due to "madness" which he believes and successfully convinced me was spiritual, not natural madness. He showed me the only one thing he has of his real mom...her picture. He cherished it so much.

That evening he came to visit us after work as usual.

"Did you see the boy that was coming along with me?" he said to me.

"Which boy" I answered.

"He met me that my uncle sent him that my mother is in his house".

"Your biological mom??!" We were amazed at the news. I, my mom and two of my sisters rode to the place...tws just about 4 kilometers.

On our way, I tried interviewing him a little.

"How do you think your step mom would feel about the news when she knows?" .

"hmmm... I don't know oo, but I will talk to my dad privately first".

"how do you feel?".

"I am excited and afraid".

Other Facts

- His step mother is almost the 'bread winner' of the house<br>

- His step mom may not be happy with the news.

When we finally arrived

We approached his uncle's house, it was a compound with about three huts, surrounded with other neighboring huts and a few 'zinc houses' My expectation was to see a dirty old ugly looking woman...but we were amazed to see how relatively clean and beautiful she was after at least 17 years of trekking from LGA to LGA . She had a 'mad' hair though.

Her son approached her "Mama u fa wanye wo ga?" (Tiv Language).<br>

I noticed how emotional and cracky he sounded. The woman didn't answer just like she didn't know him...just whispering to herself, tears almost in her eyes. We asked him to sit close to her...he kept on trying to communicate.

I somehow noticed and felt it was due to 'our strange' faces she kept silent. We later decided to return home and leave him and his mom...we discussed our way home.

When he came back to update us He came back that night and...continue reading

***the full story is on this blog which I share similar stuffs that happen with / to me.

www.KpbaseStuff..com

For those in Freebasics OR those who don't like links. In summary it was an interesting night, she actually knew him and they communicated after we left (full content of the discussion is in the link + you'll be surprised at what his dad did).

...well, I believe a mother is always a mother, mad or not. I pray for her quick recovery. Amen.

WATCH IT

I used to use the deep web but come to think of it — you request a page...ip-A from India tells ip-B from Netherlands to tell ... to request the page for you.

Common, we have programmers here right? Write something to spy on all ips that requests a page (definitely... all those ips are relays {if you know what I mean} which will not be doing the same kind of thing at the moment). now a method called ... can be used to (...)

Well my humble advice is for you to configure i2p with the so called tor browser ...this may be an issue if your tor doesn't like the port :4444 (Reverse Engineer the app and doit! after all its open source)

Phew! well if you notice my activities on naira land you'll notice I've been alittlebit dormant... I've been training myself with stuffs I got from the deeper deep web don't ask me for any...you're only qualified to have stuff like that if you can get it!

Last bit of advise – be careful with the Google's Smart Phone...the Android when accessing the deep web. My opinion.

I hope I Havant spoilt someone's day ...someone who thought there is "Privacy"...common , the dark web is also a web grin

Look. The university may have facilities...but one thing it can't do is to "force put" book in your head.

You should have asked all those who auggested this: "why?" (I just hope no one would say 'facilities' or 'notable alumni')

Computer science is not like core engineering where your life depends on the kind of lab facilities you guys have. ... Study Hard wherever you find yourself.

OP asked a simple question. The answer is No!. PHP is the most successful lang for the web.

People just read something from somewhere and run their mouths else where as if they know what they are saying. If u say php is not advisable. WHY? vulnerable to hacking? like the rest of the others? or what?

And to the "php a HTML editor/IDE guy..." you should have said Emacs (yhu too much grin )
ProgrammingCommonly Used Phrases That Disagrees With Programming Semantics +IQ Qs by logicalhumour(op):
Sometimes I listen to people speak and I laugh...saying "ERROR" in My head.

1. You can imaging mama Ene saying to Ene "Go and take your bathe or else...".

Now, the thing is:
if (you take your bath) {
no punishments
} else { ...

So the correct phrase should have been "Go and take your bathe else..."

2. You can imaging Mr A and B
Mr A: "Go and clean my room "
Mr B: "I ain't cleaning nothing"

ain't would be evaluated first (the statement becomes True (instead of the intended False) Because of the nothing at the end.

Questions For All

Q1. (from the classical joke of the programmer and his wife)

Wife: Papa Onyi, abeg go market go buy bread for Onyi, If Candi dey buy five.
Husband: OK
Husband: [programing-oriented husband comes back from market...there was a little quarrel!!]

a) What's the quarrel about?
b) What's the correct phrase mama Onyi should have used? (use pidgin English to answer b)

Q2: (conversation between two programmer friends)
Mr Y: look my friend, I don't hate you. If I hate you, would I have sent you a birthday gift?

Mr Z: "No"

Mr Y: [goes around telling the world mr Z thinks he hates him despite mr Z's "no" as answer]

a) Why did Mr Y do that?
ProgrammingRe: Please Help Programmers!!! by logicalhumour: 2:03pm On Oct 23, 2016
Though I am not very clear with you. but I hope this helps.

First of all, you've got to be careful... you're creating an app even Dangote may eventually use grin

First thing to do is to choose a tool - ie a programming language (I don't advice c++).
Secondly, remember the aim of a program is to emulate our real world. so what activities can go on in a bank?

- People can create new accounts
- deposit
- transfer
- receive payments
- etc

Now, you create your APIs
- Connect with the banks database (securely - I advice end to end encryption)
- Manipulate customers data per wish eg ( if customer1 wants to transfer N10 to customer2.
Change customer1's balance in data base to current_amount - 10 if customer2 receives N10 from customer2 successfully. (synchronized)
...I'll be back later... but when you're done never use auto authentication...yea, good feature, but not so nice when Dangote's phone is stolen!! (so customers should always retype password onAppExit.)

Thanks for your reply, I admit I don't know p in programming, but I have read about html before from some Android app, then implement it on my blog the I had no idea of what I was doing then(i made a mess of my blog which made me abandon it, tho I liked the fact that some of what I wrote was displayed as I wanted which made me feel little geeky grin) I later download udacity on Google Play and watched some python tutorial videos on it but midway I realised that I didn't quite have a good introduction on programming, that's why I stopped to seek advise....

If anyone comes up with my idea kudos to him, bit I know that I can do beyond my "now imagination" if I know how to code... But I don't really think anyone in my school can do it though, I met quite a few so called computer science students, and hell I've never met anyone that knows how to program or even anyone that knows a coursemate that knows how to program, all I've met are LA cram LA pour material students...

And please how did you learn those languages so I could follow suite, and if there's any way I can contact you so you could be my mentor, it'll be appreciated, I sent you mail through nairaland, not sure if it works though.....

Thanks again bro smiley
Owk...now I get. What you want to develope is to be used in your school only. (I didn't get that clear before)

But don't worry, I did it myself... you can also.

ProgrammingRe: Nland programmers: i need your advise by logicalhumour: 9:56pm On Oct 03, 2016
You want to develop that website... look, don't hurry (and next time don't even give a hint about your idea on some platform like this ).

Well, if you had an experience in one or more other languages before, I would have advised you to be develope your site on-the-go of learning. When I entered programming, I was using those other categories...C++, Java, Python, C.

After sometime, a brilliant unique idea sparked in my head. Trust me I had no idea of PHP / MySQL or any RDMS (I knew those were the tools I needed ). But I was Baba in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python. (to an extent C++, Java, C ).

Well, with my knowledge I began development on the fly of learning... but the difference between you and me is... with my previous knowledge of OOPs.

1. I will know about some dangers without someone telling me / me reading... eg I knew MySQL could be injected right before I read it.
2. When I want to perform an action... eg to split a string / create a class... I didn't know how to do it but I knew a good programming lang should have methods for that.

Conclusion

With the content of your post, you have no idea it small of JS ans so on..

So my bit of advice is, calm down and learn it if you don't want bad-guys to invade your site When created.

Sorry to tell you this but I will.

Programmers are getting more intelligent these days... some are now wise enough to stop creating social networks and some other forum-like / 'school management stuff' etc bla bla bla.

......so, surly before you finish learning. A more experienced programmer would come you with this your idea.

Don't get discouraged. Learn it for the knowledge and not for your idea... one day Owoicho will bless you with something good (like me ).

Well, I came up with this post because nairaland is so organized that we don't notice.

If you feel scrolling through some dumb posts like this one... use my guide to know if you're to navigate away or not.

I'll start.

1. When the thread contains "snake"...

Just know the thread would be flooded with people mentioning our guy... @lalaSnakeclala grin . You should also see this quote from the nairaland Bible... " And thou shalt call upon the name of
lalasticlala in times of snake, and he shall
move you to the frontage spotlight, cuz at
the mention of the word snake, him head
they spin.
"
Ehhhh.. @lalasticlala , don't worry, my friends neighbor kind a snake which nearly swallowed their child... I'll post that later on this thread!! (You're happy now? [...yes, I can feel you nodding your head now like a kid when daddy asks... 'want some chocolate?' ])

2. When you scroll sharply and find too many of this smilies ( grin grin grin grin )
Just know people will try to be silly in a funny and unserious way (I wonder which one will dominate this thread of mine )

3. When the thread Is dominated with huh huh huh
Hmmm... Oga OP... beta go find work do because NLanders don't find any sense in your post (I expect this in this thread of mine tho... )

4. When the thread contains too many angry angry angry
a) The senselessness of the post got people angry
b)... bored also

5. Some shocked shocked s
Ummm... seems asiv you got something new and interesting.

B - Some use a few database so they could be organized

C - Some just do it dia own way.
