You wont find anyone be it a scientist or a religious person that can give you 100% evdence on these questions. However,reasonable arguments can not be put for an intelligent designer. It has been debunked. As for how the world came about,it is clearly only science that can find out,not religion or spirituality. Science has always been going towards the absence of a creator.

If you are looking to be convinced to be a full atheist, you should be asking yourself questions. I cant answer all the questions.

Poll results and market signals show Christianity is becoming increasingly irrelevant in the British society despite PM David Cameron's last week claim that Britain is a Christian country.
According to the official Citizenship Survey, the number of people who identify themselves as Christians has plunged from 77 percent in 2005 to 70 percent last year.
This comes as over the same period, the percentage of people who said they have no religion has increased by an almost similar proportion from 15 percent in 2005 to 21 percent in 2010.
“While Christianity remained the most prevalent faith in England and Wales, between 2005 and 2010 there was a steady decrease in the proportion of people who identified themselves as Christian,” the survey said.
The study also found even the people who do identify themselves as Christians do not practice it as a religion.
“Christian people were much less likely than all the other main religions to say that they practiced their religion,” it said.
This is while, market sales ahead of Christmas apparently support the Citizenship Survey findings.
A snapshot poll by the Daily Mail has shown that only 0.5 percent of 6,576 Christmas cards on sale feature messages or pictures relevant to the religious background the festivities while some are designed to openly challenge the bible.
The survey said that across all Asda branches, only four out of 2,638 Christmas
cards (0.15 percent) on offer carried religious pictures or symbols.
Cameron said on the 400th anniversary of King James Bible last week “we are a Christian country and we should not be afraid to say so," stressing the bible has provided Britain with “a set of values and morals” that make it “what it is today.”
With the poll and market figures at hand, Cameron's
comments appear as nothing more than a political stunt.
Religious lobby group Christian Voice, openly challenged Cameron's comments saying an organized campaign seems to be in process in Britain against Christianity despite the PM's call on the Church of England to promote moral
values.
“There's a kind of
militant atheism and nasty secularism at work in this country which is completely opposed to Christianity,” Christian Voice's national director Stephen Green said.
His concerns were
echoed by Don
Horrocks, of the
Evangelical Alliance.
“Half a per cent of
cards with religious themes when 70 per cent of people describe themselves as

I am a Nigerian and have lived in Nigeria for many years. All those festivals that ?I hav been to claim to be spiritual, yet,I havent seen any magic or voodoo.

If it was made for us, then all planets must have a type of life it can support made specifically for it . Venus,for instance is regarded as earth twin, it cannot support life. 2) Man being superior in intellect to other animals also 'logically' presume there must be something greater in intellect than us. This is false. When no other creatures seem to match us, we assume God put us in charge of them to do as we please. Do you know that the difference between us and primates is that they have around 5% more DNA than we do. Complexity of the brain is something that evolved over time. The brain and eye cannot see ultraviolet,some animals(insects) can. We cannot hear some frequencies,some animals can. Why? Because its not particularly needed to survive,even detrimental to our survival. Tho, because we make advanced computers,it may look as if since our brain is even more efficient than a computer, then someone must have created it. This is not necessary. Look at the evolutionary tree,as we move,our brain develops and gain more complexity in order to SURVIVE. As a medical student, I can tell you the brain is a f**ked up place even in its complexity. A simple trick can turn the brain in all its glory to a confused neuron firing nut case.


3) Yes, it did. But to label that unknown(for now),God, is illogical. Once upon a time, the sun was worshipped. Why? It was believed to be singly the source of life. Now we know better. Once it was proven incorrect, that there are billions and billions of other stars, that explanation became obsolete. Once we discover what happened beyond the big bang, some people will still claim wherever that knowledge stops is where God is. And it will continue. Just Ask GALILEO. Why does it have to a HE? Why not a equation or principle or even SHE? Are they not grand and elegant enough?


4)All those laws are random occurrences in a sense. Cause and effect really. Tho, I agree that its a mystery why the universe even obeys laws of mathematics and most laws of physics but that still does not prove the existence of all-powerful,omni-everything God whose sole preoccupation is to play human beings on chess boards. Who is as anthropomorphic as the next human.
