Wouldn't it be fair to say that science is like a gun- it can be used to protect people e.g helmet, vaccines, and it can be used to kill innocent people (bombs, guns, poisons).... Science(exploration) has been used to free and enslave people, right?

It isn't the tool that's deadly, it's the handler that's deadly. A knife in a surgeon's hand could be a tool for good or evil...

tbaba1234: You are presenting an emotional argument... That is one of the problems of the atheist. Islamic theology has given the muslim the tools to overcome this problem. These tools are derived from the Quran and the saying of the Prophet Muhammad. Muslims are intellectually convinced of the truth of the Quran so as sad as it is, we know,suffering is not an end in itself.

manmustwac: The story is obviously not true but am sure many atheists like me must've experienced similar stories. I've helped many Christians financially in the past. They usually see me as their personal Savior sent by God not actually knowing that "I" myself am an atheist and then to add insult to injury the Christians would come out with statements like "God will bless you"
