buzzgonz:Apparently, you are new to this thing. You may want to read back on this thread or check this other thread for explanations/basics. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-82565.0.html |

Me too want double-money-making personality o! This Valentine day, wetin we dey buy o? I mean for NSE, not for those babes o! |
FatherOF2:Baba (as Ololufemi would say), stop speaking in tongues. Words cannot be big to the extent of cutting it with knife (apology to josephat) Speak out |
NASCON appears to be slowing down, time to bow out? |
@Napolean, if you are big , you are big. @myself, if you are small, you can be big! ![]() |
I do not have a crystal ball like LarryBoy, Nor do I posess 'news behind the news' like WindyWendy I cannot blow candles like AktopGun Nor can I do murabazu like LondonCool I do not claim to be a CICO guru like F02 Nor do I have daily bid positions like Kpineo I cannot do on-spot analysis like Pumping I no dey resolute like Shigidi I do not lay claim to Stock Marshal fame when we have people like Wanajo I cannot talk of NSE history with precision like Frankiriri And who am I to give tutorials like juggernaut Easimoni I am no 'woman-like-man' where YodiYokun is concerned Nor do I have the praisesinging-ability or humor of an Ololufemi And who am I to buy PPs on listing day like Napoleon So I decided to go through this thread's history and do a combination of fundamental, sentimental and technical analysis, and come up with a prediction that you can take to the market tomorrow, whether you are a fundamentalist, bomber,or CICOer. Based on the Hare-Khrishna Candle-light charts below, looking at the convergence of the Kamikaze and the Burakina at the confluence of a Valentine full moon , we observe a bullish run on this thread between Sept 2007 till date, with maximum capitalization reached in January on this thread. Judging from the MACD-RSI buy and sell signals, I can safely predict that February will be bullish, with pages of posts on this thread exceeding 200 pages in February 2008 alone.

A word is enough for the wise! When there is convergence of gurus, deities, bombers, sentimentalists and kamikaze murabazu candle watchers on a stock, do not hesitate! ebony9ja (m) Warri Posts: 73 Offline Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians « #13264 on: January 31, 2008, 08:59 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am actually thinking of getting into Nascon. when am thinking, it means am already in 25%. Dont ask me for fundamentals oh. we all know what the basic indices are on this stock. My hunch on this fell on the side of sentiment and others factors that people may find ridiculous- that is if you are all so technical about stocks, Some of my biggest gains in the market were made as a result of my propensity to follow my hunch. One thing is sure however, it seems it has bottomed out. N15 to N16 is a good stock up price for me, you don't make reasonable gains if you keep going with the masses, You should strive to look into areas where others are not looking or better still - fail to look as a result of fear, At this price, if It gains N3, I can get out smilling.from where i am sitting, Nascon should be able to do that with 3rd qtr result, The ridiculous part, I will say it later. yodiyokun (f) canada Posts: 485 Offline Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians « #13270 on: January 31, 2008, 10:30 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote from: ebony9ja on January 31, 2008, 08:59 PM I am actually thinking of getting into Nascon. when am thinking, it means am already in 25%. SCOA Nigeria Plc SCOA which is a company listed on the Nigerian stock exchange in the conglomerate sector did not perform very well last year, this can be seen from the just released results as its turnover decreased by 49.8 percent from N3.7 billion in 2006 to N1.8 billion in 2007.Its profit before tax was also down by 195.5 percent as it decreased from N860 million in 2006 to N821 million in 2007. The company recorded a loss in its profit after tax as it dropped from N867 million in 2006 to N705 million in 2007 signifying 181.4 percent change. The company closed at N5.29 at the end of trading on the 5th of february 2008. With this result, why are people still buying SCOA? |
easimoni (m) Re: Your Best And Worst Stocks Ever? « #11 on: May 31, 2007, 07:00 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Best buy ever was Japaul at 90k, sold it four months later at N3. Two months later, it is almost at N6 . Had a similar experience with WAPCO last year but it took much longer to appreciate. Worst stock ever was AP. Bought it and 2 weeks later, NNPC announced AP had an N11B debt. Could not even find buyers. Only the second time I ever sold at a loss (1st time was when I took my broker's advice) This market is really something else! Where is my crystal ball? |
NAIRALAND has no fury like a STOCKMASTER scorned! |
