chimoz: I took step 1 earlier last year, I got 267 and also the step 2ck earlier this year and got 252. Am currently a 2nd year surgery resident in Nigeria and plan to do cardiothoracics if am opportuned to get a residency placement in US. Am almost due for part 1 and I have decided to take it before making arrangements to travel to US for the step 2 cs. The part 1 will give me a post-primaries exam exposure which is necessary to pass the step 2 cs. Anyway, I wish you Goodluck in your step 1, there are some good websites you can download step 1 preparatory questions. I will also search for the ones I used and can E-mail them if you need them. We will conquer the American health industry. Thanks boss. Your scores are very inspiring. I am a 500 level med student. I intended on taking the steps on graduation but I just realized that would mean more years before matching. My plan is : Step2 ck by August next year Step1 by December. I've saved long and hard enough for the duo. I'll do CS with electives just after housemanship on one trip to the USA (flight alone na like 400k one way only ). Then wait for the match. Specialty of interest: Internal Medicine @ a top-tier program. So help us God. My email is matata4mbbs@gmail.com. Thanks. |

VickyyB: Are you intimidated by his abs and big (?)? You would always meet people who wouldn't go with the expected or popular opinion- for reasons best known to them. It may not mean they're blind. It may not also mean they're intimidated. It just means they have a different perspective. So I'm not intimidated. And my post was not even about the abs or padded pen-i-s. Iyanya has been over-doing this semi-nude thing so much you'd wonder if he doesn't have clothes. It wouldn't hurt if taking photos with clothes become a priority. |

Registerr: Inferiority complex is really bad. You don't have to hate. It's more like a lady coming to Maheeda semi-nude picx writing that no guy would drool for her. Smh There's this thing with Nigerians. They always have a name for everything. I give my opinion on a public forum - and it's suddenly 'inferiority complex'. Pathetic. |

Ghyft: Hello everyone in the house..please I want to get enlightened on the topic; 'physiotherapy'... I checked on net and I saw that it is the use of physical methods to cure diseases but I still have some questions: 1. What are the chances of getting a job? 2. What does studying it really entail? 3. What do they really do in the hospitals? Cc Lomaxx Lagusta and all those who can answer 1) chances of getting a job is high. Most of the physiotherapists working with my state government are non-indigenes. See? 2) &3) check here: http://www.csp.org.uk/your-health/what-physiotherapy |

This is how some of you get on the nerves of people. Someone needs answer to a question, and he posts a question on NL with the hope of having one. And for the most part of it some folks would crack unnecessary jokes over the subject matter - probably for the sole reason that commenting on a thread is bliss like free will.
And if someone points out your folly in full provocation, you would then yap about e-fighting and respect and all balderdash.
Please, if you don't have anything relevant to contribute to a topic, kindly stay off the thread. It's not compulsory to type. These things are very irritating. |
