RomanceRe: Getting Married In A Couple Of Weeks, And Discovered Hubby Is A Fraud! by LongOne1(m): 11:55am On Jan 12, 2012
Cuddlemii:
Wait a min, sh-it! that guy played you. He is probably married to a barren woman and dated u for a child or he needs to prove that he can father a child. Because why else would he want a child so bad as to get u pregnant twice when he doesn't want any commitment or marriage. Maybe he relocated to achieve his means. He might even kill you after the baby is born. He had mapped out his plan from the get go, he saw an emotional lady to play stunts with. The act of trickery and devious antics. I am thinking like a crook here
Haba Cuddlemi, you want her to have a panic attack leading to another miscarriage?

Jack Bauer has nothing on you, Dexter would not have been able to survive his first season and CSI would have been out of work, since crime would have stopped out of frustration for your deductive reasoning, lol.

Goldieluks:
@OP. You mentioned that he was married before, how much do you know about his previous marriage, are you sure he has finalised his divorce with his ex wife? Who knows maybe he's facing pressure from his ex and he decided to send the email to her so as to prove to her that he's not getting married to you, hence the story about you being a well to do person prior to taking care of the child as a single mum. Think outside the box.
My thoughts exactly, you just might have your answer up there. It is possible he is STILL married and wants to use your email to end his marriage without hurting his wife.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
RomanceRe: Why Do Promiscuos Girls Find Husbands Easily? by LongOne1(m): 5:03pm On Jan 10, 2012
Mrs, Chima:
As much mess most men talk, they prefer a wild woman in bed and lady in the streets.  If they can get that they are sold.  Maybe it is a stereotype that "good" girls are boring in bed and in life.  Who knows but let thank God, they are marrying instead of humping around!
You are speaking my language, may your days be long, lol.

sexkillz:
To the pro-promiscuous advocates:
Should promiscuity be encouraged?
Does promiscuity and sexual permissiveness guarantee husbands?
Should moral values be upheld or relegated?

I don’t know, but what I know is; as a man, you need to know how to handle your business.

Where you get the experience is another matter. Whichever option you decide i.e. learning on the job (virgin until marriage i.e. politically like great uncle Jonathan), theory (watching stuff/gist), and/or doing practical’s (being promiscuous), just remember you reap what you sow and be ready to man up to the consequence – the holy books were put in place for a reason.
RomanceRe: Have You Ever Mistakenly Flirted With An Online Character Of The Same Gender? by LongOne1(m): 8:51pm On Dec 08, 2011
ArQueBusieR:
No. The mere thought(s) of being in such a situation makes me sick. *pukes*
Not your fault really, as it may imply an Androgynous nature due to the person’s feminine traits. One of the implications of seeking on-line love, which goes with the Nigerian phrase that says ‘you no suppose pursue black goat for night’.

emofine:
I don't have the balls to answer that question wink tongue
Say no more, there’s a deeper level to flirting, if you follow I’ll lead.

Could take you to on an endless adventure that’ll traverse the physical, make you swim in timeless intellectual currents of pure bliss . . .

RomanceRe: Dear Mr Right! by LongOne1(m): 4:56pm On Dec 08, 2011
funmeme:
@Goldieluks, yes i hope he gets to read dis cos the letter is very important.
Yes, he has read it, he promises to be what you want, then some.

His concern is when you finally meet him; you might form too much and scare him away. Alternatively, turn his good intentions to one bad one. He is there lurking in the shadows; that person you take for granted/ignore/feel you can do better.

Moreover, are you capable of loving him the way he wants and what do you have to offer?
RomanceRe: Can You Love Your Spouse Like This? by LongOne1(m): 2:44pm On Dec 07, 2011
Impressive if true.
RomanceRe: How Best To Forget A Crush? by LongOne1(m): 12:45pm On Dec 07, 2011
People occasionally experience pre-marital cold feet, and long for the thrill of a new relationship to reassure themselves of their value/worth. Therefore, what you are going through is normal.

What you need to do is work on your mindset, in addition to the other suggestions. Everything begins in the mind; battles/wars are won in the mind. If you can make up your mind to forget about her, then you will.

Marriage itself is a battlefield, and if you can’t control your urges/feelings now, when you get there, it will only get worse.
There is a saying that goes “give the devil an inch, and he’ll take a mile”. My advice to you if you survive this, is to avoid temptation by not being overly friendly towards women as they are obviously ‘feeling the boy’. Create a boundary, and be determined not to cross it, whatever happens.

Wish you marital bliss. . .
P.S. don’t forget to come back with your testimony next year, lol.
RomanceRe: Does It Really Matter To Males? by LongOne1(m): 4:32pm On Nov 30, 2011
It’s the little things that matter, anyone can dress well and smell good, but it’s the attention to detail that makes a lady outstanding. It also guarantees a ‘ten over ten’ Male rating.
RomanceRe: What Questions Do You Ask Your Potential Partner On Your First Date? by LongOne1(m): 4:16pm On Nov 30, 2011
Just general/careless questions that don’t have anything to do with Politics or Religion.

But to drill deeper, it’s questions like ‘what makes you tick’ to see if she has intellect or drive. Don’t remember being asked any embarrassing question though, surprising question, maybe.

RomanceRe: What Do I Do? by LongOne1(m): 4:13pm On Nov 25, 2011
What does romance have to do with it? Talk to him about it, as you are his responsibility, ‘cos he isn’t supposed to deprive you of your needs.

If talking to him doesn’t work, spike his drink with Viagra or Burantashi at your own risk.

Foreign AffairsRe: War Against Iran Will Trigger WW3 And Eventually Destroy Western Imperialism! by LongOne1(m): 2:10pm On Nov 24, 2011
naira2011:
"World War 3" that will shift the balance of power in the world and free so many nations from western imperialism. Humanity should be ready to witness the dawn of new age.
Don’t know about you, but I would be a little wary of this change in the balance of power.

One thing about change is it usually initiated from above and experienced by those below, meaning the poor nations you mentioned will be at the mercy of this ‘new’ power.
With the way, China treats its African workers (slave labour); I don’t see them being any better than the West, rather worse.

While it appears I’m neutral, I don’t disagree with your thoughts, but feel your ‘perceived’ freedom might end up being a case of “out of the frying pan and into fire”.

PoliticsRe: EFCC Chairman Farida Waziri Has Been Sacked! by LongOne1(m): 11:54am On Nov 23, 2011
Does anyone have any info on the new guy?

‘cos they say, better the devil you know than the devil you don’t know.
PoliticsRe: Breaking: E F C C Chairman, Farida Waziri Sacked by LongOne1(m): 11:45am On Nov 23, 2011
I hope there is a justifiable reason for this, not a change for change’s sake.

If not, it’ll be the case of ‘different toilet, same sh. .’ which is a wonderful way to create the illusion of progress.

Time will surely tell.
RomanceRe: When A Girl Intimidates You. by LongOne1(m): 11:18am On Nov 23, 2011
You might want to tone down your attitude a bit if you want to change their opinion. It’s possible they see you as the ‘high and mighty’ type based on your status and the way you interact with them.

If you have an approachable persona; social, down to earth and polite, even if you drive a Ferrari or a Bentley, Men won’t consider you intimidating. Rather, they’ll see you as ‘one of our own’ who happened to hammer.
I’m assuming you are not an Ajebutter trying to mix with Ajepako, ‘cos this will only happen if you speak and behave the way they do.

Get used to it bro, everybody gets screwed at one point in time or another, even the so-called players.

Advice from Will Smith, the original ‘nice guy’ in song 'Just the Two of Us'

One day some girl's gonna break your heart
And ooh ain't no pain like from the opposite sex
Gonna hurt bad, but don't take it out on the next, son
Throughout life people will make you mad
Disrespect you and treat you bad
Let God deal with the things they do
Cause hate in your heart will consume you too

Come to think of it, Will Smith divorced once. My point is, not everybody gets it right the first time.

Foreign AffairsRe: The Deindustrial Revolution: Why Doesn't Britain Make Things Any More? by LongOne1(m): 4:36pm On Nov 18, 2011
BlackLibya:
Exactly, the reason you work there is because Britain has assisted in the destabilization of your country through its arms which it does manufacture.
Assumptions, assumptions, assumptions, unfortunately, all wrong. First of all, my country is not destabilized.

BlackLibya:
This leads people like you into Britain to work in its skilled sector for cheap
Correction, I am not working for cheap, I schooled here, didn’t just wake up and leave my Country for greener pastures. Rather, to gain experience, then apply my knowledge when I get back home. (Learn from the best)

BlackLibya:
when you say they dont manufacture, are u talking about in terms of output or employment?
#
I was being sarcastic at your comment, which had nothing to do with the Topic. Apparently, you still don’t get the point.

BlackLibya:
Britain manufactures high end products, they dont need to manufacture the cheaper products of less value. That's what their former colony, China, is for.
Did you even read the article above? Do you classify ship manufacturing in the original post as ‘a cheap product of less value’?

FYI, they still do, to provide employment, as mentioned in this post below

cap28:
america has outsourced a huge chunk of its manufacturing jobs to the far east and the american people are paying for this in the form of rising unemployment.
is high uemployment a positive thing for any economy?
Foreign AffairsRe: The Deindustrial Revolution: Why Doesn't Britain Make Things Any More? by LongOne1(m): 3:49pm On Nov 18, 2011
BlackLibya:
The UK manufactures destabilization and weapons to keep its former colonies in check. This provides it with a continous stream of cheap highly educated labor with which to stock its universities and corporations.
huh your point is …?

Remember, included in the title of this thread is ‘why doesn't Britain make things any more’ NOT ‘Britain doesn’t make things’. I happen to work as an Engineer in Britain’s Manufacturing Sector, so my comment in no way assumed Britain had stopped Manufacturing, but had rather experienced a decline in Manufacturing as a whole, also confirmed by the article.

BlackLibya:
This provides it with a continous stream of cheap highly educated labor with which to stock its universities and corporations.
I’m flattered by the 'highly educated', but are you saying my salary is cheap?
