Sharing your own views too might help the thread. Mine are: 1, No, it cheapens the girl IMO, except the chase was hard 2, Dunno 3, No 4, Hell yeah, as a man you gots to know how to handle ur business 5, No-this is where common sense comes into play 6, N/A 7, Yes |
pendo89 But seriously, where do u get all this knowledge from and what's your relationship status? Plus, please answer my long standing question, how old are you? Twenty something, 89 or 98? I hope whoever finally conquers you, really appreciates what he's got. |
Madukaele:Yes, we probably both are. Me for answering you and you for mentioning a word you probably don't know the meaning Huh?what did your second lin ave to do with anything?'cos we three started off as friends, then I became serious with her. I only mentioned it because feelings might start developing and since you are all still friends technically, someone could get hurt - my bad |
9jafetish:In this case, I will make an exception. Besides, she joined Nairaland in 2010, I joined in 2006. So you see, 4 years age difference ![]() |
Mrs.Chima:We will, as soon as she replies this post For a night of unparalleled pleasure and undying passion between the sheets |
SIlknSteel:Sure, y not? Lemme show u some rare hospitality… |
At least 4 years younger |
I feel compromised/weak |
fork adict:^^^ROTFLMAO |
@ Nayah Yeah, it’s probably a culture thing. The downside is it might lead to the Lady drumming it into her boyfriend’s/husband’s head that she bought this or that, as men are expected to provide for their girlfriend/wife in the Nigerian culture. In the West, it does not really matter. My Black, British flatmate’s girlfriend has a graduate level job and a brand new car-he does not have either, but he feels quite comfortable tagging along in the passenger’s seat. He is still the Boss, and she gives him respect – In Nigeria, this would not suffice, as he would probably receive alotta insults from her. |
I guess it depends on the Lady in question. In the first place, how many Women in Nigeria become self-sufficient and independent based on just hard work? Some sleep around with their bosses/alhajis/married men/politicians to achieve this and when they meet men who aren’t in their league, they talk down at them, showing their true nasty character. |
@ sexkills Fair enough then. I think I misunderstood the 'display' part |
He/you need(s) to get to know her first, study her, before planning an attack. Wooing a lady is an art and there is no ‘one size fits all’ with them, what might work on one will fail terribly on another. |
I think if the Devil sees you, he will run away in fear, lol. |
I would say NO. My younger brother slept with my neighbour girlfriend while I was in school – sh.it happens. |
claremont:speak for yourself, don't generalize. Man should be 'some men' I have never cheated on any of my girlfriends, and never intend to do so. So help me God |
Maybe you haven’t really forgiven her yet, that’s why. You need to let her go, and love again. Life itself is a risk, and too short for you to live in the past. I dated my childhood sweetheart for 6 years and she hurt me pretty bad, so I know what you are going through. |
I fully support the ‘knowing yourself’ bit; and I also feel it’s the most important. In the words of Tori Amos “I think you have to know who you are. Get to know the monster that lives in your soul, dive deep into your soul and explore it”. |
But still, damn, damn, damn and why, why, why? ![]() |
^^^True, we all live and learn. Hopefully, the knowledge will prepare us for the life sentence called marriage. |
^^^u got me there. Well, that’s the irony of it all. |
careytommy:True, but it's usually for a one night stand, not a relationship or marriage |
Wow, this is new. I'm not a sexist, but why do women have so many issues? |
Brand_new:I'll go with this |
