peteregwu: Mode of operation or not, they are all Muslims and they both kill infidels, Jews, Christianz and as many that stand against or criticize their ideology. They both kidnap and rape women. Dey play. Those are not the criteria to determine if the 2 entities are the same. Hamas has been operating in Gaza since before ISIS was formed. If Hamas was ISIS why didn't they declare a Caliphate in Gaza? Stop acting like you know something when you are uninformed. |

peteregwu: Hamas is ISIS and ISIS is hamas
Who started the war in gaza? Hamas did by first invading Israel, killing Israeli children and adult, kidnapping and raping them. Any sane country wouldn't take that rubbish. They will have to do the needful by going full force to do everything in their power to annihilate all those barbaric, blood thirsty vampires.
When the hamas carried their evil act, majority of the Muslim world were happy and rejoice. Some even made videos displaying their joy for what hamas did. In Palestine, it was jubilation but when the table turned, everyone of them started shouting "free Palestine, Israel is killing children", bla...bla...bla.. Even some Nigerian Muslims were jubilating too.
Anyone supporting hamas is also a terrorists and a murderer. If you are angry for what Israel is doing in gaza, please and please kindly park your bads and luggages and head for gaza, enroll in hamas group, they will give you gun to fight Israel. But before you go, just write your will for your family and give them a goodbye kiss because from Gaza, you will be sent to paradise to receive your own 72 virgins. Hamas is not ISIS don't get it twisted. They may both be Islamic and terrorists both that doesn't mean they are the same entity. Their modus operandi alone should show clear they are not the same. |

Kobojunkie: Are you certain you did read the passage? The ones that will go out to gather, separate, and usher the sheep and goats into either Eternal reward or Eternal damnation are the angels that are to come with Him. They are the servants described in the parable of Wheat and Tares to handle the final harvest that is to come. Well the passage doesn't mention that, still it sounds strange that a universe creating god would need them for anything. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Does Jesus Need An Army? by LordReed(op): 12:55am On Nov 22, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: Why doesn't it answer your question? You asked why, in a vision, He is described as coming with an army. Well, in Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46, Jesus Christ already explained that in plain speak. So why reject His answer? Because the passage only reiterates that he is coming with an army it doesn't say why. |

SIRTee15: Ask him why was Mathew written in the 3rd person. Why should he claim someone named Luke is not a gentile when Luke is derived from the latin name Lucas. Luke is not a native Hebrew name. If he's not a gentile, then the only possible option is he's an Hellenistic Jew which means he can could speak greek. And since he's a doctor, then he should be able to write good greek.
The idea that Jesus disciples are all illiterate is ridiculous. Philip and Andrew spoke to Greeks in the book of John.
The assumption that Roman officials would employ non greek speaking Jew to work for them doesn't make much sense. So are they going to employ another person to interpret the tax calculation of Mathew from Aramaic to Greek? Why would they employ 2 persons to do the same job. Or are we to assume Romans officials could read aramaic? Is that the standard for colonial officers to be literate in the language of their colony? How feasible would that be since they are transferred to different colonies regularly?
And the idea that Palestinian population are greek illiterate is largely unfounded in the bible. Pontus pilate wrote the inscription on the cross of Jesus in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. Why would he write in Greek if there are insignificant greek literate Palestinians? Who were the target audience of the Greek inscription.
Peter is assumed to be illiterate and couldn't speak greek, but he got Silas to write the 1st Peter letter for him which means Silas translated the dictation in Greek. Why can't the same be done for gospel of John. Except we want to assume Peter could speak greek. And if Peter could speak greek why can't John? As u can see, the video is just a merry go round circus, garnished with personal opinion. Little or no factual evidence. Too many assumptions. It would be better for you to have that discussion yourself in the comments section of the video. |

I have tested it and it works fine but I'm concerned about the quality and durability.

Should I keep it or go return it and collect another known brand like LG etc? Skyrun is a good product. You might not get a new LG for that prize but you can get used one. |

Maynmann: 😂😂. For me spiritual means spirited, so I'm also not into the Nollywood spiritual.
The point I was trying to pass with emanation is, existence always is, there is no beginning nor end. Nothing can be created but can only be made. I just wanted you to see the difference between religion. Oh sure I understand that. I think you can be 'spiritual' without being pretentious because it's all about a recognition of the complexity of the universe especially the recognition of the complexity of the inner universe. |

Maynman: Please look it up when you are free. I find that most attempts at spiritual explanations for phenomenon sound like pretentious bullcrap. I think the way the universe is provides sufficient awe inspiration without trying to layer some other spiritual explanations unto it. Emanations are no different, just some people trying to sound like they have insight they can't possibly have since evidence for what they are saying cannot be produced. |

SIRTee15: Same anti biblical claim with deliberate distortion of facts. He clearly avoided evidence that will nail his argument dead. I already discussed here most of the claim the video raised. I can't be repeating myself all the time. What I can do is this..bring up any of the claims in the video u find interesting or curious and we will debate it. Good thing about the video is that it admitted the synoptic gospels were written in the 1st century AD. Most atheist dispute this claim.
Let me give u a bonus. The video claim the first time the gospels were attributed to the acclaimed authors was 185AD Well the first new testament compilation- Muratorian cannon was written around 175 to 180 AD and confirmed the 4 gospels. The guy also conveniently left out father Iranaeus contribution to authorship of the gospels in his book against heresy written in 180 AD. Do you mind if I post your objections into the comments section or will you do it yourself? |

Cooolme: I have a stepsister living abroad, the daughter of my mom. She's been there since childhood, raised by her father, and has become independent.
Despite the physical distance, she has been supportive, particularly to my mom. Although she occasionally sends money to my mom, it's never quite enough for her.
I share a unique bond with her; we've always been close, even during her visit. The last time she sent me money was during my 100 level when things were tough. However, my focus shifted from financial help to maintaining a connection with her.
Recently, I noticed a change. Since July, she has been snubbing my messages, a puzzling behavior considering I don't seek financial assistance. I've made it a point to check on her regularly, something she mentioned our mom doesn't do. At my level now if she needs money I can even send for her but her recent attitude has totally changed my mind towards her. I'm contemplating blocking her and ending contact, as it seems that's what she wants.
It's a challenging situation, and I'm curious if anyone here has experienced anything similar. Are you sure you aren't just reading meaning not intended? Also she might be going through stuff that she is unwilling to share but is causing her a lot of stress,be patient and still check in on her from time to time. |

It seems people hear AI and think of all the sci-fi movies involving AI that they've watched. LLMs are not even close, they are too narrow in scope to even approach the versatility that general AI would possess. |

SIRTee15: Can u submit a chaptgpt generated article as assignment I'm any academic institutions?
I use chatgpt a lot. It's so bland, monotonous, vague and predictable. It lacks the detailed and specificity u want for a researched answer.
There was a time I became interested in Nigerian music industry the early colonial period especially the 1920s. Chatgpt just came up with some general and vague answers about the Nigerian music industry in general. It couldn't cone down into the 1920s I wanted. That's because it is not actually creative, it is merely manipulating the information at its disposal to simulate human speech. It probably does not have access to data on the Nigerian music industry in the 1920s. |

Of course, it can be trained to be biased..Was it d revenuing sharing program? Investors don't want to share the cake? 🤣
Finanace scams? just what is it ? Most people seem to conflate what is known as general AI with the current models of AI we have. Chatgpt is a Large Language model (LLM) AI it's not a general AI so it cannot do tasks that a general AI would be able to do. All LLMs are capable of is language manipulation so anybody trying to hype it beyond should be seen as not knowing what they are talking about. OpenAI itself doesn't even make any claims that paint its AI models as anything other than LLMs so no they don't do finance or crypto or whatever else apart from language manipulation. The buzz around them is mainly focused on expanding content creation capabilities, you heard about the Hollywood writers strike right? AI was a big part of that issue. Imagine if AI could be trained to replace all those writers, you can practically see the dollar signs in studio executives eyes. Stuff like this is the reason you have the big businesses wanting theirs fingers in the AI pie. |
