When you have a govt that breaks the law , you are in soup. For a citizen like you praising them, I pray one day the govt bullies you the same way and despite court orders, they keep you incarcerated. No brain detected here FreeStuffsNG: |
Dalil8:Lol. Russia won’t dare try to grab Alaska from the US. You guys don’t know about warfare |
Docodes:Though you maybe correct it being a gateway drug, it has not deterred its use. In the state I live in, Marijuana is illegal but guess what, my neighbors use it. Decriminalizing will definitely be bad for the black market and would mean more taxes. Weed is quite expensive because the US states where they are legal tax heavily. In California, tax on marijuana was over a billion dollars. Imagine if the revenue states are losing to black market sellers? The cost of incarceration makes no sense. People that smoke weed would never stop because it is illegal. Only if it is permanently unavailable or they decide to stop. So why not tax the growth and consumption rather than put them in prison? I am with Biden on this one. The US has had laws that don’t make sense in the realities of today so this one has to go. |
The interpretation of the law must make sense. Of lawmakers passed a law that allowed the government to take your land at will or employers to fire at will, does that make sense? Law breakers should be reformed. Putting them behind bars with no reform in mind just adds to the problem. By the time they are out, you have another worse crook on the street. tuzeriouz: |
tuzeriouz:Agreed but it doesn’t make so much sense. Each prisoner cost Tax payers around 1m a year. A first strike of armed robbery should not be life in prison. |
calling bullcrap! There is no way you can guarantee at least 7.5%! So if I give you 2m, you will give 1m in 7 business days? decryptofx: |
You must be joking. You don’t have to be abusive to get stuff done. I have seen leaders lead complex teams in Nigeria and not treat them like nothings. CEOs like Ebun are horrible and do more damage than good. I don’t see what exceptional thing he has done with Bento AliuKe: |
Is someone pushing Maruwa for president? Big joker! So they were wounded but can take nice pictures with bandages and no blood? Bull! |
I can’t be baffled at stuff? Of course I have seen saner countries and I still wonder why Nigerian Law enforcement agencies behave like crazy people. excel101: |
Taiggarr:SMH. You don’t even know me but call me a druggie. There is something called separation of powers. It was put in place to ensure that no one arm of government behaves like they have absolute powers. The constitution provides certain benefits to its citizenry. One of which is a right to privacy and not be harassed. If the executive (in this case NDLEA) needs to invade someone’s privacy, that’s a violation but can be granted by a competent judge vis-à-vis search warrant. When you have a search warrant, there is no need to harass, enter a premise illegally because you are backed by a valid court order. The suspect in question can only complicate issues for themselves if they prevent the NDLEA from carrying out a lawful search. I have taken my time to explain to you assuming you are a kid but if you are not and simply trolling, you should be ashamed of yourself. Grow up! |
Law enforcement behaving like rascals. Why should citizens stand and look? Madhouse |
Asin so fake This same person did one a couple of weeks ago HenryDion: |
Nice story. Just looks like someone at FairMoney paid you to write about other bad loan companies like Gokash and it’s ilk. So this content strategy is kinda old. Why? We did something like this early days in my former company(largest e-commerce company in Nigeria). It s a dirty strategy but good luck! |
The right thing to say is Ganduje is a suspected thief. Considering the video we saw, he is a suspect and it is open for the law to confirm true or otherwise. Also, it is baffling how people are charged for calling politicians names. the useless president we have called Youths lazy. Of course he is protected by the constitution and free speech. I honestly feel that charging someone for calling you names is pure bully and any sensible judge should not entertain. Another sad thing is people don’t know their rights and there is no body to represent them in court. I remember how one useless human in connivance with some unscrupulous law enforcement officers accused my friend of computer hacking of another person’s computer. No proof, just out of thin air. I tire for this country |
Malami is a drunk fish! How does one go to defend the FG by bringing up laws of a section of the country? What kind of slowpoke do we have as AGF? I weep for Nigeria |
Proud ex teacher of Greensprings School |
Don’t give up There is a reason no one is interested in your profile. Ask a professional to review it. I am not one but I can look at your profile and tell you what I think. All the best! Barbiturate: |
Sacked 300 drivers? You are attacking the wrong problem. Who is hiring these drivers is who you ought to fire. There is a big problem in your selection, training and hiring process. If you were thorough, the bad ones won’t really slip through the cracks. Anyways, this fellow of a CEO is proud to put this crap story out about ensuring rider safety. Cover your eyes in shame, attack the correct cause of your problems. |
Smh CBN Act (2007) declaring it as the issuer of legal tender in Nigeria. Emeifile or what is your name, the CBN act declared the cbn as the issuer of legal tenders but cryptocurrencies are not legal tenders. The US has classified these as property in their country. Why can't u do same. Classify them as property and tax the gains if of course you are ready to do tax refunds on losses. The cbn will cancel anything they can't comprehend |
ABC. This is a quidax sponsored post. The content is lacking any depth as you failed to state how you made 10,000 USD. The quidax app is nicely designed but I have not seen a worse customer service in Nigeria. The founder assumes every person using the app to trade crypto currency is a criminal. Their system had an error and instead of resolving it in a nice way, the CEO, buchi sent me an email, calling me a criminal and how he would report me to EFCC. It is important to state they had frozen my money which was 3 times what the erroneously dispensed to me. Back to the topic, use creative ways to push your product. This is a very huge waste of marketing spend. Very typical of Nigerian startups with funding. Spending like twats. |
Umahi wants Senate President next election. His game is not the presidency -- that's too far for him to reach. |
if he knows how do a DDOS, how dumb is he to not be a ghost? |
Olodo charge and bail lawyer. So if I have a misdemeanor such as running a red light and I am fined 5000 naira and 2 weeks community service, I am an ex convict? |
What a silly lie. The DSS is completely irresponsible. Common! They have now resolved to concocting demonic lies against people. How dumb? If you had such evidence, the person should have been charged ti court. If transfers were made, you have plenty of evidence to throw the person in jail but he was released. Also, for those stating DSS can easily get the call logs, i am not very sure of that. In normal countries, you are to subpoena the telecommunications company that issued the line for call records. Since there was no judge involved in this case, i can conclude there was no subpoena. Again, i used the word "normal" and Nigeria might not be when it comes to our security agencies. For the admin that pushed this crap to front page, you should be flogged. |
DavidEsq:Thanks for this but you don't have to sound condescending. Peace |
DavidEsq:David, you are correct. I find it supper strange that there is nothing about prostitution in the NG constitution. It beats me why prostitutes are arrested for same. |
Very beautiful nonsense. You cant tax something the law frowns at. No moral society can tax prostitution. It is like you laughing at yourself for being silly. The Nigerian constitution is very clear on prostitution. How can you think of taxing it because it is thriving? Our government is lazy and is simply looking for easy ways to raise money. Why not tax the companies that make the app itself just as France is planning to tax Facebook and Google? |
Leave baba God out of Nigeria's problem. We keep praying about everything and do nothing. We don't protest or resist these criminals. God has given us the brain and ability to know what is good and bad. We need to stand up to our leaders. youngwarlocks: |
Abraka Hall residents pls come here for a group picture |
Nigerians should fight this nonsense bill. Even advanced countries like USA still have fake news problem. Making it, an offence is codedly silencing the media. People will be tried unnecessarily and scared of posting any news. Democracy has been our biggest problem. |
Why does this post look like it was created by one of the content creators at Nairaland? Carefully written and these seem so much like early HIV symptoms. Anyway, if it is real, go see a traditional doctor - your problem might be beyond the physical. |
Very weak analogy but it is almost rare to grab the lyrics of a type of song that doesn't appeal to you. And i assume you think you are a true Christian but using derogatory terms such as "fool" is rather unchristain-like Kylekent59: |
