Good morning. How much would you sell your dwarf udara and soursop seedlings?

Informative thread. Please could you post pictures of your soursop seedlings? It's good to know there's a dwarf udara. The question I'd like to ask is: Is the fruit sweet?. Thanks for your response.

-terminalia ivorensis also known as step tree
-delonix regia also known as flamboyant tree
-polyalthia pendula (it's of the same family of the masqurade/fashiola tree, but instead of growing up,it grows branches. i cant find a pic on the internet
- poncirus trifoliata (extremely slow-growth)

DOGOYARO: We choosed it not only for the beauty but also for it's traditional medical uses.

Excluding poncirus trigoliata we have more or less 10,000 seedlings. poncirus on it's self is 8000. we want to use them to graft orange). so 18 000 in total.

right now we are have hard time in arranging the plants in our new plot of land,because we want to plant a huge amount of PAULOWNIA TORMENTOSA (known as the princess tree).if you are curious why we are in love with this plant do some research.

@Kopell. To buttress your point, I don't think there is anything called medium yield BoreHole either. I called in an independent geologist(before drilling) to do an investigation on my site(on a rocky hill) a few weeks ago. I attached his geological report. His findings indicated a low yield and high yield. To get low yield waterflow at my site,

the borehole has to dug to a depth of 97 meters(300 feet!) and a high yield water flow meant that the borehole must be at a depth of 184.86m (600 feet!!). The geologist made it clear to me that if I go for the low yield, that I will encounter a high iron content in the water(from the borehole at 300 feet) and it will most likely dry up in the Dry season.

My driller(because I had complained about cost) pushed me to go for the low yield(97 meters depth)borehole. I just decided not to drill anymore because I didn't want to get disappointed at 97 meters and I cannot afford to dig a borehole to a depth of 184 meters(600 feet). Furthermore, another independent hydro-geologist told me that the iron content in the water may discolour the water or lead to proliferation of bacteria since bacteria thrive on iron. This may necessitate the addition of a water treatment equipment to be installed at my site(More expenses for me). My take on all this is that digging a borehole is not always feasible in every location.

I thought you had to treat water from a borehole. Looks like its not compulsory,only when the water has issues?

When we started our burnt brick house in Lagos our neighbours said we had money. Years later we came to understand what they meant. The bricks are expensive. A bricklayer working with sandcrete blocks would have finished and forgotten about a similar job while yours is still at it. Process is slow because the bricks are small. About 2and a half will be needed where one sandcrete block is used. We won't try it again.
If your design is good and the price is reasonable,people will buy your houses. But please make sure you do a thorough comparative analysis so you are sure of what you are getting into. Cheers.

There's a woman who sells kenke, fish and shito from 3pm at Sabo, Yaba. Go past the market to the Junction opposite the old disused newspaper building. I stop by when in Lagos.

Some of us only do payment on delivery. We are conservative. No apologies. When e-commerce took off in India, prepayment was required. Soon the sites realised that they weren't selling because buyers were conservative and wanted to see what they were paying for. Enter POD and e-commerce has not looked back.
If there isn't POD some of us will hold on to our money. After all the quality of the items supplied is sometimes very far from what was advertised.

Deciding to build is a decision to go to war. That's why I've decided that I will spread the next construction over 4 years. I've had only one good experience but it was with a Beninois mason. Up here it's been horrible. It's stealing all the way and the skills are POOR! Spacing out the work will give me room to really watch my site and then take a break till the next encounter. Else you end up hating everyone.

Have enjoyed following this thread. Building is creative work and watching a good job being done is great. Please keep it up op. I'd like to comment on the view that red bricks save 30% of your costs. We have a brick house in Ikorodu. We struggled to complete it because while we were at it the brick factory nearby closed. The Oregun factory was a no-go zone because its prices were too steep. We ended up at Ibadan, at the factory at Omi Adio where we got the rest of our supply. The other problem was the lack of artisans with the skills required for brickwork. They always claimed to know what to do but I would send them away when the truth could be seen.
At Omi Adio we got in touch with an old man who had a team and the needed experience. That was when things moved.
. If we had used cement blocks the work would have been faster and cost far less than it did to build the carcass. It's a nice house, cool in the Lagos heat, but we won't go near bricks again. The hassle was too much and too expensive.

I'd like to try your first grade palm oil so I'll start with one 25ltr keg. How much is the cost now and how do I make the payment? Thanks

. We didn't offer him anything. I thought the advice was rubbish because the landlord stopped collecting rent from him 6 months earlierwhen he informed him that he wanted to sell the house. We left him for 2 months and had to get serious when we realised he had no intention of moving out. My lawyer friend's advice showed me that not all lawyers are aware of how all laws work. She was even surprised when she called and I told her we had taken possession after paying just the lawyer's fee.

I've been in a similar situation but even then the person involved was a tenant whom the former landlord stopped collecting rents from over 6 months before our purchase, not a squatter.I asked my lawyer friend what to do and she said that we should pay him to move blah blah blah. We gave him 2 months and got a lawyer who knows his onions.21 days later,the court bailiffs were there to watch him move out. It's important to get a lawyer who knows what he's doing so you don't waste your time and money.Please don't use rough tactics.

Cactus is usually found in arid areas. Not bothered by heat at all. We don't water the plants by our gate and they are doing fine. They need a well drained soil. When the rain comes they'll drink all they need. Plateau temperatures are from 10 to 39*C and they thrive so I expect they'll do well in the SW. Check at gardens near you to get some.

@OmniSparrow yes better than Alli. He did so much in Education, Sports, public transport etc as a military governor. His tenure as an elected governor, however was not remarkable.
