englois: Personally the state of the country is scary. Even those with good paying jobs are facing job insecurity cos of imminent layoffs. Inflation is another palaver. Imagine Gino tomato that goes for#50 now go for #100. Then another mentality of some people that God will take care of them is sickening. I'm not saying God won't take care of them but what plans do you have. I know of a private school teacher collecting #25000 salary and married with 3 kids before securing Npower job. After getting the job, he married another wife who now has two kids. All this because of #30000 Npower. Now, I don't have any pity to spare some people languishing in poverty cos of wrong decisions. I pity the children because they didn't ask to be born. I have a relation who is a teacher in a private school in Lagos and has six children. He isn't even 45 years old so I've always wondered what he was thinking while having so many offspring. Relating with him is difficult because of his 'give me' attitude. Other people have a little to spare only because they make their plans and ask God to help them. Nigeria is tough. Lagos more so but some people have dug the holes they are in . Unfortunately, with their innocent children. |

This is a tip I'll file away.
In our first build, I got the roofer from Iyana-Ipaja. He gave me the cutting list as I requested.
Then I said we were going to a factory at Oregun to make the purchase. When we got there, I went straight to the sales desk and met the woman who was about my age. I gave her the list and now noticed that the roofer was uncomfortable.
I didn't think much of it. The woman looked at him and asked him if his measurement was correct. He said "yes".
I paid and we loaded the aluminium into a truck and returned to the site.
In the days that followed, it became clear that the aluminium was too much
I now understood that he wouldn't have bought what was stated on the cutting list but would have kept the extra cash if we had given him the money for the purchase like he expected.
I had to use the extra aluminium to make a canopy in a corner of the yard for hanging washing during the rainy season. I still have some left over in a store.
They see it as business. But I think it's all because we don't fear God. Forget about the facade of religion. |

EgunMogaji2: 1) If you’re into DIY, it’s very easy. If plumbing is there already it’s 10 minutes to put the filter in.
2) Its cheap but I’ll get back to you on the price. Maybe N5K?
3) I don’t drink the borehole water but use it for tooth brushing without swallowing. For me to drink it then I’ll have to invest in more beefy filtration system.
The biggest benefit for me is that it reduces junk from getting to my faucets.
The complete kit is N2,700 and comes with a regular white filter. The black filters I use are N600 Thank you. The pictures address the question I was going to ask. |

EgunMogaji2: Based on my experience, a filter is a required item.
Get the black cartridge because it has charcoal in it.
I change mine monthly and I always cut it open to inspect it. @Egunmogaji, please could you answer my questions? I'd appreciate it. 1) Do the filters have to be installed by a plumber? 2) What is the price? 3) Does using a filter make the water drinkable? Thank you for your response. |

ABC is cheaper and does pickups. Their delivery time is longer though. Contact them so they can send their officer to inspect the items and give you a quote. |

In another, the landlord pays the gateman using the service charge. In this case, the gateman gets tips from tenants he runs errands for. My experience. |

Education › Re: How The Best WAEC Student In My Set Never Wrote The Exam. by lorhema(f): 1:51pm On Aug 27, 2020 |
MalaikaEH: Exam malpractice is caused by proliferation of schools and it's actually what the students want. New schools should meet certain criteria before they open. School authorities allow exam malpractice mainly because they have no or limited choice. I know of a school, two years ago, where the principal was new. He was the "born again Christian" type of person. While addressing the students on his first day, he told them that he will never allow exam malpractice of any type, especially in all external exams advising the students to study hard. This was before SS3 began their WAEC registrations. Out of over seventy SS3 students at the time, only six registered and wrote the exam at that school. The rest left for other schools where they thought they will feel free.
This year, the same principal is allowing malpractice at his school.
Stopping exam malpractice won't be possible unless all schools and parents take the decision collectively, which I doubt can ever happen with freewill. It can only happen when education authorities wake up and make laws that impose heavy fines on offenders.
Also, students who fail internal promotion exams should repeat the class as was the practice before. Only those who pass entrance exams should be admitted into schools. Admissions should not be an all comers affair.
If the education authorities at all levels will look into the aforementioned areas and device workable means of enforcing them, the system will cleanse itself with time. |

Let see this; a plot of land 120ft by 60ft(110 total perimeter) 110÷15m(1 roll), approximately it will give you 8. Which means you will need 8 rolls of the wire.

BAZ001: Like play this numbers is not going down. God have mercy on us in Nigeria, our economy wey dey struggle before make this Covid no come finish am. If you go to some part of Lagos you won't believe there is any pandemic, people living normal lives no mask, no social distance, nothing at all. When you move to the island you will be shocked becos people are wearing mask even in their cars alone inside AC. They are very careful and afraid. I don't know why it's always one sided. I was worried by this a couple of days ago. We were the only ones with facemasks on in the Lagos suburb we visited. A young man even told our teenagers they didn't need to wear one since they hadn't been near an airport in months! I believe that the LASG needs to take its health guidelines to the masses, using baales and towncriers if need be. Many people out there lack information on the community mode of infection. |
