sexiestharam: Ghanaians are Idiots!!! Yes I said it. Does Nigeria share any border with Ghana? What's their business if we decide to close our borders? What a stupid country with a stupid mentality. I don't even blame them. We always had stupid governments. The one that wants to correct the wrongs by closing our borders to checkmate smuggling, they are angry. Otherwise, I wonder what Nigerians should be doing in Ghana in the first place. Ghana wey no reach Lagos! Tufiakwa!!! Nigerians should close down Ghanaian shops in Nigeria as well. They are also many here! lol ..I'm sure you have never traveled outside of Lagos. Lagos is actually better in darkness compared to Ghana |

ladilawal82: A welcome development. Although most people are feeling the heat now but if this is sustained for 2 years as opined, our economy will experience a dramatic positive turn around. They should close it for 40 years.... useless citizens... So they have to close border for Nigerians leaving in Nigeria to buy our products. The big questions that should be ask is why? Do you think Nigerians hate made in Nigeria because it is made in Nigeria? The answer is no...we must address the root cause of the problem |

I like this border closure if the end result will benefit Nigerians the end result is not to benefit Nigerians..it is to enrich those that have invested in rice farming.... If the plan is to benefit Nigerians why did the farmers increase the price of local rice? So those that have been buying local rice will now have to pay more... |

Micholawoye: Good morning Nairaland family. I have noticed that some pastors will tell unemployed single men to marry and that when they get married and start having kids, that things will begin to get easier for them in life.
Sometimes they say things Luke when you get married, the star of the woman and yours work together to make things easier and give you better things in life.
I used to laugh at this until about a month ago and a pastor I know told me the same thing. Please how true is this? I need advice from people with such experiences. Pardon my English please.
Thank you and God bless. So If you get married because you are employed, what will you do if you loose the job after getting married? Maybe you will divorce the next morning telling the lady to be on standby pending when you get another job...lol |

So where is the blessing?

metrosexual: Just set an age when you intend to get married, before this time achieve some financial flexibility according to the means you can live with.
Mr A's level might be having at least 200k in savings and a one bed room house before marriage.
Mr B's level might be having at least 3 million naira savings, a car and a 3 bedroom flat before marriage.
Just pick a level of reach you know can fit your life.
Lastly, don't listen to those ignorant folks who would tell you that just marry now, other things would come later, alot of marriage folks are suffering in silence and hiding under the useless pride of being called "married". lol you make it sound like it is marriage that is the cause of the suffering...well if you must also know most single folks are also suffering too |

Probably a foreign company produces it in Mali with Nigeria market as mail target. That's the issue the gorverment is trying to solve. bukatyne: Well, I am sure you would rarely find a working wife opening a tread on how to handle all the chores alone on reddit.
We have different cultures.
Most other cultures realize that for a wife to really keep the house, she can't work outside it so they frown at working wives.
Nigerians expect a wife doing 9 - 5 bar commute time to keep the house alone while the husband wants to 'rest' and hangout on weekends working same schedule.
We would continue to see comments like these. stop all this lies on house chores jor |
