The guy programmed his own finger prints into the phone and locked it. Then transfer his own prints to another material and used that transferred print to unlock the phone.

He already have access to the print that was used to lock the phone aka his own finger print.

Assuming you are the owner of that phone and you locked it using your finger print and the phone unfortunately fell into the hands of thieves, how are they going to have access to your prints as demonstrated in this video to unlock the phone?

With numeric four digit pins, the thieves have about 152k retries to hack the phone and access your data but, with the TouchID, without access to original prints access to the phone and your data is secure.

so on point. Most ppl just read headlines and conclude without reading and analyzing
