This data gives very vital information that something is fundamentally wrong with our system
System or people? The stat is for those who applied not those who were shortlisted but as usual we will always focus on the part that northerners want to dominate everything and forget the part where are our people down south fail to apply or show interest.

In all fairness, The presidency should go to the South East.

The North are currently ruling

Obasanjo ruled for 8 yrs and Osibanjo is currently the Vice president

So in all fairness, The presidency should go the South East way
Those of you who push forward this SE narrative, is it plain ignorance or just mischief?
When power is to shift to the north no mention is made of North East, North Central or North west regions but once it is about the south, you start preaching south east, south west and south south.

For the record, the country is politically divided into two: North and South. Once it is the turn of a region (North or South), we don't talk geopolitical zones (i.e. South south, south east, south west, NE, NW and NC).

When we said this some years back some people insulted us. After threats did not work, they've now started begging.
If they had thought in this direction many years back, the region would have been better off. The insecurity is the reason even the ports are not attractive to business people.

cool cool cool cool since we want Nigeria and not to go our separate ways.the only hope for Nigeria to start healing is to have an Igbo president.soap is made of sodium and oil.sodium is in solid form and oil in liquid form.now the north and the west are the solid part of Nigeria while the liquid is the eastern part of Nigeria from the first 3major division.you know oil as liquid spread when pour out on like solid.that’s why the Igbo are only tribe that can be found in all the areas of Nigeria unlike other tribe.do you know that the Igbos have friends in all the tribes in Nigeria.Nigeria have to place a value on its oil (the Igbos)if the ever want this country to be one and move forward.if not they should allow the Igbos to go.the sun can only rise from the east nothing else anyone can do about it.it’s nature.Nigeria have be negeleting its oil (the Igbos )to be the head forgetting that without oil sodium can’t form soap.but not the type of Orji Rochas
For the record, presidency in Nigeria is not rotated on a tribal basis but rather on a regional basis (North and South). That is why GEJ could become president from a not so dominant tribe. Presidency is not just given. Igbo politicians should wake up and live up to their responsibility so that they can produce a president.
So stop the talk and do the needed work of building bridges and capacity.
Politics / Re: 2023: South-East Won’t Accept VP Slot, Igbo Leaders Warn by LoveThemChubby(m): 1:39pm On Jan 23, 2022
The south east will continue to play backstage in the political arena for a long because they don't have political foresight. When I hear some of their politicians resort to issuing treaths directly and indirectly, I just laugh because it is obvious that they don't understand how politics work.
It is high time they realize that power is not given but taken and that it takes capacity and bridge building to take power. Here is my take:
1. Which politician in the south east can square out in an election with a northern candidate and win? OBJ and Jonathan did it from the SW and SS respectively. Recently Kalu said he can only contest if the party's ticket ia zoned to the SE- this shows that himself is not convinced that he can win in a kinly contested primaries.
This is why I said igbo politicians must build capacity and bridges. As it currently stands, I don't think there's any igbo politician that has northern appeal like Amaechi. This means that if he is to contest against a candidate from the SE in an election, he will most likely floor the candidate.

Buhari was a regioner champion (northern) and couldn't win an election until he built bridges with people from the SW, SS and SE. This should be a lesson to SE politicians.

2. All the two democratically elected presidents from the north have been from the north west (Katsina to be precise). Should the NE, NC now also begin to threaten others? When it is the turn of a region (we only have two: North and South) to produce the presidency, it is left for members of the region to decide on a candidate)
_The SE should therefore concentrate on building capacity and bridges. For then and only then can they access the presidency.

We are saying the same thing. The number is the codification of the entire informations of everything you need to know about who wrote the book, who the publisher that is associated with the ISBN which can be yourself, it can be a publishing company you create yourself, or it can be a ficticious name that isn't even a business at all.

Thanks.
Ok sir. But how can one locate the imprint especially for books that have been published already?

You can find the imprint of the book by looking at the back of the Title Page. It should contains everything you need to know about who wrote the book, who the publisher is, how you can contact them, where the book was printed, what the ISBN is.

Thanks.
Ok thank you. But from what I noticed as can be seen from the image, the imprint is expected to be a number just like the ISBN

3. WRITING A QUALITY BOOK

You can write your own books by yourself or hire a ghostwriter to write your books.

Advantages of Writing Your Book By Yourself

1. It eliminates the biggest expense in publishing. Self-written books allow people with little (or no) money to actually create and sell a product online and make money. It’s an unheard-of opportunity.

For some people, this might be your only option right now and that’s okay! If you can’t afford a ghostwriter right now… THAT’S OKAY! Lack of money to invest is not a reason to not take action.

2. Get the ball rolling quickly because of the sheer amount of action you can take. You can produce more books while your ghostwriter(s) are writing. You aren’t capped by the amount of work your ghostwriter(s) can do or how much money you have to invest.

You can build up a portfolio of 4-8 books relatively quickly and start creating some cash flow that you can further use to reinvest into more books, ads etc. If you ever find yourself waiting around for people to deliver work to you… go write!

Writing books yourself is the fastest route to $1k, $3k, $5k/month. There is little financial risk involved because you are investing your time, not your money. So go crazy and don’t be afraid to make mistakes.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES WHEN WRITING BOOKS YOURSELF

#1 - CREATE A SERIES: A series of books can be incredibly powerful when done correctly because each book’s success feeds all the other books in the series. Doing a series allows you to “templatize” your first book and write new books quickly.

#2 - BE CREATIVE: Be an innovator instead of a copycat. Copy concepts, not ideas. Take something that’s working and put a unique twist on it.

These books are free to write, you got nothing to lose other than some of your time so if you don’t know if it will work… just try.

#3 - DON’T SACRIFICE QUALITY: Sacrificing quality is shooting the future you in the foot. 1 extra hour of work to make sure something is done better could mean hundreds or thousands of dollars down the line.

Your customer feedback (reviews) will determine if a book will continue to sell or die out.

USING A GHOSTWRITER TO WRITE YOUR BOOK
This is another option you can use if you decide not to write your book by yourself.

What is a Ghostwriter?

A ghostwriter is hired to write books (or other written content) that is officially credited to another person as the author.

The ghostwriter writes the book, but the idea is your own and the book is published under your name/pen name. You own the book 100% in every way shape and form. The ghostwriter has no legal right to your book. Ghostwriting is common practice in the writing industry.

Hiring a Freelance Ghostwriter

How it works: You make a job posting on a freelance platform like Upwork, collect applications from interested writers, create a shortlist of applicants, interview your shortlist, and then hire the best ghostwriter and work with them 1-on-1 on your book.

WHICH PATH SHOULD YOU TAKE?

Use a ghostwriting company if…

You are a beginner and you know you easily become discouraged by problems and challenges
You are a beginner and feel super overwhelmed about creating your first book
You want the path of least resistance and are okay with probably sacrificing some quality
You can only put in 10-20 hours/week on your publishing business (job, family etc.)

Hire a freelance ghostwriter if…

You aren’t afraid of the extra time and work that comes with it
You are fully committed to publishing and want to go the extra mile to get great books written
You are strong-willed and not easily discouraged. You have the “nothing will stop me” mindset
You have experience, have published a few books already and want to publish better books
You are on a strict small budget

There are many websites you can use to hire people on but the best place to hire a writer is on Upwork. Upwork is an online freelancing platform where businesses can meet and hire people.

HIRING INTERNATIONAL WRITERS

You absolutely need to hire a native English speaker, but a lot of people don’t know what a native English speaker means. A lot of people think that means someone from US/UK/Canada.

A native English speaker is someone who’s has learned and used English from early childhood.

There are many countries outside of the US/UK/Canada where people learn and use English every day.

Philippines, Malaysia
South Africa (best reputation for writers)
Spain, Portugal and most of Europe
Argentina

Sadly, parts of Africa like Kenya & Nigeria to a large extent have a bad reputation for plagiarizing. Interestingly, my ghostwriter is from Nigeria and I did groom him to write exactly how I want my books to be written.

You cannot judge someone’s English or writing ability by where they are from. You must judge writers by their actual written work.

WHEN THE WRITER IS DONE WRITING

It will take 2-6 weeks to get your book written and delivered to you by most ghostwriters. When that happens you still need to proofread, edit, check for plagiarism and format your book before it is final and ready to publish.

We will discuss how to proofread & edit your book for the next lesson.

Sentiment you say? Do you ever wonder why transportation cost is relatively cheaper in the north? Just a few days back someone raised alarm on how Abuja to Gombe which takes 9hours cost 4k thereabouts why Abuja to owerri or so that takes 5-6hours cost 13500. In case you don't know, passengers end up paying for all these illegal taxes that never make their way into government coffers. So hell yes he has every right to complain. They can't be illegally taxing people like that without a corresponding increase in their IGR.

As for me I don't see anything bad in that, it's a way to show honour and respect to him, it's just a visit not forever, he will soon go to his house.

NB If you truly want a happy home, don't seek advice on social media, those kids who can't maintain a week relationship will advise you astray. What works for A might not work for B.

Even with your modifications, it's the same thing!!! Is the man living forever in your house? Why come here to rant instead of telling your wife directly that she did something wrong?! You see why I always said good communication with intimacy are good in every home especially with this teens getting married everyday. I know he will still come back to ask if it's good for his wife to be greeting him every morning or late in the night grin grin orishirishi undecided Dear Lord have mercy on us all
You should be praising the man for even surpressing his anger. The man feels his anger is justifiable but isn't sure that is why he brought it here to seek the opinion of others before bringing it up with his wife so what's wrong with that? It's obviously not the first time this is happening but his anger is that:
1. He was very hungry and requested for the breakfast
2. His wife had to wake her sleeping brother and serve him breakfast first before coming to serve him who was already awake and very hungry.
3. If he is to meet his own sister's request before his wife's, all hell will break loose even if his sister's need is more pressing than that of his wife.
Now look at the above 3 points and tell me why he shouldn't be angry.
@poster, personally I will advice you talk to her about it but after your anger must have decipated.

"Recruiting young engineers across the nation" you say? Is Bauchi and Kano " the nation" or is it "across the North"? You lay hundred of kilometers of pipes to load crude oil from the East to your CBN funded refinery in Lagos. You won't go to Bauchi to lay pipelines for crude, neither will you go to Kano... But when it comes to job opportunities in this sector, you first focus on those you consider as "your people"!

This is the kind of One Nigeria they desperately want. You have all the jobs at the Ministry of Petroleum. All the jobs at NNPC and PPMC. All the jobs in the Customs and Army and Police and all that.... Now this... What are Eastern youths from where this resources are being exploited supposed to do? Go to Malaysia and Cambodia to hussle. Abi? While you and your brothers from the desert inherit the earth?
It won't work like that na..
Lay pipes from the east? Which east biko? Abi now that ir is employment matters the south east and south south can be referred to as east? Your assertion that "ALL THE JOBS" in the custom, navy, police etc just reveals the fact that you are just an ethnic bigot who will go to any length to say anything no matter how far it is from the truth/reality. I know hatred and this already skewed mindset will not allow you but go and read the second paragraph of the letter and you will realize that copies of the letter might have been sent to other institutions across the nation too.

Are they in any way better than the Igbos?

Anambra has been with APGA for years, aside Lagos and FCT,(No Man's Land), tell me the State doing better than Anambra.

Katsina is with the Presidency....same Katsina is the headquarters of bandits.

We don't need your Presidency.. what we need is a safe and sane environment where we can do our business, excel , buy or build big houses, buy big cars, pepper Umuekwensu and enjoy life to fullest before we meet our Maker.
Tell this to your kinsmen who nurtured ipob into the monster it has become by erroneously thinking that they can get an igbo presidency by threats and intimidations. While the points you've raised are valid, those of igbo extraction in politics think differently and I believe Uzodimma was rightly addressing them.

I believe openness to others is the key. I feel Kumuyi and the deeper life church in general was too rigid in associating with others from other denominations this made it impossible for young ministers to relate with. Seondly, not everyone has the grace/gifting to mentor others because fatherhood is not just by name as it takes time and effort
