To be honest, he’s made our life very comfortable here. We have a solar inverter with solar, a generator back up, house help including a nanny. We live in a really nice estate in Lagos. My husband takes care of things. I’d never say that he doesn’t. If there is something that makes me uncomfortable, he goes out of his way to minimize it for me.

There are challenges with living here but at this point, nothing that I can’t handle. I can visit home whenever I like because I have enough savings. I even went home for my parents anniversary last month for 2 weeks. Plus, I was mentally prepared to move before the move happened. So living here has been ok for me. In some ways, better than when I was at home, working myself to death and paying high bills.
