This is a thorough indictment on Jonathan’s government. What has Jonathan been doing for the past five years or so? Failed and useless government.

You don't expect to fight corruption and expect corruption not to fight back. May God grant our President elect the will and the wisdom to confront whosoever and whatsoever that will be indicted in any corrupt cases.
Politics › Re: Buhari Plans Mass Retirement Of Corrupt Military Leaders by luvmijeje(f): 5:40am On May 04, 2015
Daily Trust newspaper reported last year that the army top brass had shared part of a land meant for barracks in the Asokoro District of Abuja, a further evidence of the rot in the military. It said the 439 beneficiaries of the landgrab included spouses, relations, friends, associates and companies owned by senior army officials. Kenneth Minimah, a lieutenant general and chief of army staff, and his predecessor Azubuike Ihejirika, a retired general, were allocated 2035.41sqm and 3909.35sqm of land respectively, the newspaper reported. Those who got allocations along with their wives included two former chiefs of defence staff, Oluseyi Petinrin, a retired air chief marshal, and Ibrahim Ola Sa’ad, a retired admiral. Former chief of air staff, Mohammed Dikko Umar, a retired air marshal, also got his share, while Ihejirika’s wife, Gift, got Plot 4882 which is 2385.59sqm. One other beneficiary named “Oke Ihejirika” was given 1,583.59sqm, in addition to three more ‘Ihejirikas’ who were listed as Goodok Oil and Gas’s directors: Ihejirika Okechukwu, Ihejirika Chika and Ihejirika Goodluck. The company got 7476.95sqm of land
I can't wait for May 29th.

After giving up fighting, surrendering his arms, and leading his men to hand over their weapons, Tompolo in 2012 received at least six decommissioned Norwegia battleships, a Norwegian newspaper, Daglabet, found in December.
Six! 1,2,3,4,5,6 battleships! In the hands of a militant. Is there a civil war going on in this country? Jonathan haff finish this country.

One thing I'm sure of, he won't blame the opposition, the southern region, foreign government and we the citizens for his failure to ameliorate or drastically reduce those issues in the course of his government. He will teach a particular person how to be a responsible leader.
Politics › Re: Prof Osinbajo Vs Pastor Tunde Bakare, Who Could Have Performed Better? by luvmijeje(f): 6:08am On May 03, 2015
@topic I can only judge from what I've heard so far from both of them. Bakare is one of a kind in this country, an honest Pastor........ A pastor who don't believe God will come down to do everything for you.......he believes in holding our leaders accountable while not minding going to the street to fight for what he believes in...... He's worth emulating by all these lazy pastors who brainwashed the citizens by preaching to them that the situation of the country don't affect them.

While Osinbajo is also a patriot who understand his job as a SAN. Anytime I hear him speak, I'm always having goosebumps....... He gives me hope of a better country.

can you people just understand that communication skills, oratory and eloquence doesn't translate to good leadership. All these skills are what is needed by someone more into PR or salesmanship than leadership abeg.
It doesn't necessarily translate but it's a necessary tool every leader must have. The first step before implementation of any idea, issues, rules, procedures is communication. If communication fails, implementation will fail.
Politics › Re: We Must Question Sources Of Rich Nigerians’ Wealth –osinbajo by luvmijeje(f): 5:37am On May 03, 2015
If the police want to deal with the criminals, you and I know that they are hampered from doing so, they are hampered structurally, they are hampered by the fact that they are not as well equipped as they ought to be, and they are not resourced as they ought to be but the structural problem is the major one.

“A country of this size needs some form of community policing because criminality is always local, we need to have policemen who understand the local language, who live in the local community, who understand the language. So there is logic in it to have community policing.”
See sense! May God grant you and your boss the will to carry out your reforms.
Politics › Re: We Must Question Sources Of Rich Nigerians’ Wealth –osinbajo by luvmijeje(f): 5:32am On May 03, 2015
He said, “We have always talked about zero tolerance for corruption but it is also important that people are made to understand that there will be consequence for corruption.

“What we have seen so far is that there is hardly any consequence and people simply get away with it and if you get away with it often, it sends a message to everyone that there is no problem, and we need to fix that whole thinking that there has to be a consequence for corrupt practices.

I don't see Jonathan representing PDP as presidential candidate again.his period of luck I think is over.funny enough d luck got him almost everything in life a person would hv wished to be.bt coming bk for a second tenure again , I personally don't think its gonna be possible again
That's why I said one of those that causes the demise of Jonathan. Fayose is the deputy chief instigator of Jonathan fall while FFK contribute zero effort because nobody takes him serious.

But the chief instigator is Jonathan himself.

he National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a very strong warning to some ambitious aides and associates of President Goodluck Jonathan trying to use their closeness to him to cause crisis in the party and pave way for more defection to other parties.
The PDP said it would expose such individuals and make them face the full weight of the party disciplinary measures if they fail to immediately retrace their steps. The NWC in a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh
shocked shocked shocked for Metuh to issue this kind of press release, there's indeed fire on the mountain. In all honesty, Metuh is a useless publicity Secretary........... He contributed to the quick demise of Jonathan with his tribalistic and anti-islamic press release, he never made sense except once.

I'm in support of Jonathan's aides who are interested in dissolving NWC of the party legally.

The question now is where was this plane since 6 years ago.?
Ahhhhh! No further comment till heads start rolling in the Nigeria army.

All Progressives Congress because
he lost the March 28 presidential election would
return with empty stomach. He said the leaders of the APC would first settle
their existing members before thinking of settling
defectors. He added that “food” may have finished before it
gets to the turn of the defectors to eat
Imagine the kind of statement that's emanating from a President........ Nigerians haff suffered! In my lifetime may I not witness this kind of President again.

It said that in order to put the matter beyond doubt, the party has decided to publish in full the terms of reference in question so that Nigerians can judge for themselves whether there is anything suggestive of intimidation or running a parallel government in the document.
Nigerians are awaiting the terms of reference that's causing Jonathan and his gang of Thieves to be shouting. . . . .. Is the shouting justifiable?
