Congratulation to Nigerians on this beautiful day. It's the best day in the life of Nation. I'm not expecting it to be perfect but I am hoping it will be a step to an electoral systems that works and that we all can trust.

Abeg, the fake news carrier should not get on my nerves today. Losers should lose with dignity. If you lose and say Nigeria must lose with you, God will punish you and your entire family. Or if you see that you are about to lose, you are now telling Nigerians to arise in violence, violent will not cease in your life. Amen.

Zither:
Luvmijeje, I am not opposed or closed-minded to opposing views but your argument is just wrong on so many levels to which Amyblessed has taken the effort to address in words I would have used.

Man exists for God, not the other way round. The artist does not limit his power of creativity to just one tool. He always has various kinds of tools at his disposal to bring his imagination to life. This is why He is still an Artist even when there was no pencil.
Please see my response to amyblessed.
Christianity Etc › Re: Who Is Behind The Beautiful Picture, The Artist Or The Pencil? by luvmijeje(f): 5:48am On Feb 23, 2019
amyblessed:
"Without the pencil, there's no drawing".
Says who? Any Artist is capable of drawing a very beautiful picture even on the ground without a pencil. So a pencil does not and cannot make an artist. An artist is an artist anytime even without the pencil. This unarguably counters your number 1-5 in relation to God and man.
And I wonder what made you think that without man, there's no God and God exist because man gave birth to it. God has been God even before He created man. His creating man is not what made Him become God. Man was the last thing He created, whom He put in charge of everything He has created to take care of them.
It's just like saying a child existed before his parents did, and without the child, there's no parents. What a fallacious argument!
Pencil is simply a tool to put out an idea conceptualize in the heart of man. Anything that conceptualize an idea is an higher or a lower form of pencil.

Who told you God exist before man? Man

Who told you man was the last thing God created? Man

Who told you God created man to have dominion over everything he created? Man

Who told you God created man to take care of everything he created? Man

Again, man created God to give reasons to our existence.

Christianity Etc › Re: Who Is Behind The Beautiful Picture, The Artist Or The Pencil? by luvmijeje(f): 12:38pm On Feb 22, 2019
This is a deep question question. But I'll have to diverge from everyone and choose the Pencil for 5 reasons.

1. Without the pencil there is no drawing.

2. Without the pencil, the idea if the artist don't come alive.

3. Without the pencil there will be no beauty to appreciate.

4. Without the pencil an artist becomes man.

5. The pencil makes an artist. The artist didn't make the pencil.

So is the relationship between us and God.

Without man there's no God. God exist because man gave birth to it. The secret and beauty God is each of us. The day we start listening to people who's perspective of God differs from us is the day we realize the pencil makes an Artist.

This thread makes me realize why there are numerous Christian denominations. It's because you are all so arrogant. One simple verse will have 1000 ways of spinning interpretations to suit each of your agenda.

It's the sole reason, they must create something out of thin to preach on the pulpit. You will now lie on the holy spirit. God will punish all of you.

Indeed it's a waste of time for those who refused to see God from another point of view.

The religionists are close minded individuals and surprisingly I've gotten to discover that the Atheists are more close minded than them.

But for people like me(I know I'm coming off as arrogant) who are knowledge seekers it's not a waste of time. I've learnt a lot from the Atheists and I've also learnt a lot from the religionists. I'm now a well rounded individual.

Not according to the Bible written by men but according to the various translations written by men.

If we know that, all scripture is inspired by God, and that, translation of the bible into other languages from the original text is not inspired by God, then it therefore is fair comment to say that, all translations available today or before, whether OT or NT are not inspired and therefore as have always being pointed out, now and then, here and there, arent and/or cant have the claim of being inerrant

If I were wiser than my neighbour, I wont be that self conceited and arrogantly enough to outrightly say that to his or her face

Chief Dr. Oliver Sunday Akanite, popularly referred to as Oliver De Coque of blessed memory RIP. The lyrics of the tune are very truly instructive

ujnwachukwu and luvmijeje, do you know that God never ceases to marvel me. When I look at my fingers, I see my fingers are all alike but not equal. They are different in length, size, shape and orientation. Each of my fingers are unique. It is extremely surprising and/or impressive that God with this simple and basic anatomy study tells us something about man and differences

luvmijeje, he is self deluded. ujnwachukwu has been indoctrinated into believing the church lies, to be truth. The church's falsehoods has deceived him into thinking that there is something wrong, evil and/or harmful in two easy going, ordinary consenting adults, minding their own businesses enjoying a life long caring, faithful, committed, truthful, honest, loving each other lasting that's life-long and loyal same-sex relationship, that has no detriment to another person, no betrayal of another person, or no cheating on another person, and not harmful to an object or neighbour.

ujnwachukwu ever after being "converted" and "conditioned" has turned to a sham, fake love and so adopted living a suppressed lie, though knowing fully well and deep down in him, that he finds same sex, as him, sexually attractive.

ujnwachukwu, being gay is like being left handed. Just as some people are left handed, so, most people aren't. Nobody really knows why, except for, it's because we live in an imperfect world. It is not a matter of right or wrong here. It is a matter of thats just the way things are, and that, there is nothing abnormal in two easy going, ordinary consenting adults, minding their own businesses enjoying a life long caring, faithful, committed, truthful, honest, loving each other lasting that's life-long and loyal same-sex relationship, that has no detriment to another person, no betrayal of another person, or no cheating on another person, and not harmful to an object or neighbour

ujnwachukwu, having homosexual behaviour, as in the preceded, stated clearly and in detail, context, respect and/or circumstances, is no more abnormal than being lefthanded is, so accept your flaw, especially when it is not evil. Accept your difference, when it is not doing anybody harm and/or you arent harming others with it

ujnwachukwu, UyiIredia, bloodofthelamb, luvmijeje and others, is it possible, that love can be extraordinary, that there is love wonderful and passing the love of women? Of course, yes, for some, it is and it is biblical

Happy Birthday luvmijeje!
Thanks for the toast on this beautiful day of mine.

Muttleylaff, do you know that my story of my relationship with God is a Bible. Yours too is a Bible. What makes Moses' story or Paul's story better than mine. What makes it more inspiring than mine. These men are men like you. Stop putting them on a pedestal you all could surpassed. Stop making them infallible. They are men with flaws.

Muttleylaff I've so many flaws and it took me a long time to accept who I am. It took me a long time to love who I am and never to be ashamed of who I am. The only different is that my flaws are only criminalized in the Bible and not by the government.

I have alway wished to be gentle in the face of opposition. I've always wished to be able to turn my left cheek when someone slapped my right. But the day I decide that I won't talk, some fools will decide to tempt me. So I run away from people but can I run away from family? So I'm always asking for forgiveness for who I am 100 times in a week.

Yes there are several belief out there over the normalcy of those given to LGBTQ, whereas I respect their choice of believe, but I have to humbly say the truth to those that is seeking for true help over this perverted sexual orientations, you are not born this way!!!. This is the primary truth you you must accept and settle in your heart before every other help you desire can be meaningful. If it is not Gods perspective, none else is valid.
It's not God's perspective?

According to the Bible written by men. How are those men different from those who have different perspective of what God's says.

All arrogant fools. Each of you thinks you all know the mind of God. You know nothing. God is the totality of each of your perspective. I'm obviously also arrogant but I think I'm wiser than you all because I realize as a man I'm limited. God's unlimited.

I want to believe there's a reason he created us differently but men in his foolishness failingly created uniformity.

ujnwachukwu, you are going to caused that woman you married misery because one day you will get to meet a man who will reminds you of how God created you and how you cannot never go against nature.

Love is accepting every single of your flaws. If you can't make peace with your flaws, you can never your fellow men.

Even our Lord Jesus Christ, knowing fully well that He is God, never outrightly proclaimed to be.

Their husband's dreams becomes their dream. To have a successful marriage, they must be submissive, they must be quiet, they must be silent. That the success and the failure of a marriage lies with the woman. You who see the cheating by a man as normal and the cheating by women as a crime. You who blamed us for being rape. You who tells us that we are second class citizen because Eve committed a sin. What some of you called sin is an inherited temperament. Everybody cannot be humble, gentle or quiet. You are telling them to go against their nature. You are telling them to go against who they are.

Hmmmm.

TimJackJsm, I've heard a lot of stories like yours. Stories of People being called by God and while resisting they get to lose everything and they have no choice but to answer the calling of God just as Jonah did.

This is where it get trickery, If their business had not ran down, would they have gone for full ministry? Would both of them have answered the call? And what makes you think that their business ran down because they didn't answer the call of God?

TimJackJsm, thousands of business failed every year and most of the business owner are not called by God.

This is my advice. Sit them down and ask them, which one of them was called by God? Both of them can't be called for the same thing.

It's easier to beg friends and family for money to start business or to even beg for job than for them to be begging for money to eat.

Now my fear is if satan could install a proud heart in me making it impossible for me to receive grace to overcome sin surely he would have installed all kinds of things in many believers heart that is making them sin. Because I have listened to some holiness preaches who keep on saying that several people send them messages that they are battling with sin
I wept. Those who are telling you to be holy, are they holy?

Despite their unholiness, they still have a great relationship with God. On Nairaland alone, come and see the so-called holy holy people behaving like a tout.

loveDcross, men are flawed. We are never created to be perfect.

The day you realized God love you and your flaws is the day you will be truly free.

NPComplete : There's no one that guarantees a perfect marriage. All have worked. And all have failed.

Seun : First you figure out what qualities are most important to you, then you start searching for someone who has those qualities,

Thank you guys for your above words of wisdom. I will add that in my short term on earth, getting what you want is not the issue. The issue is solely not knowing what one want.

My sister recently got re-married to a guy who's also getting married for the second time. And when I was discussing with the man, he said, if my sister was his first wife, he will never have remarried simply because my sister treated his family like her own.

When he was single, he wasn't looking for that in a woman. It was when he got married that he realized how valuable it was.

Anfieldboss, it's important to go for what you want. You don't need God or anyone to dictate to you your life partner. It's in going for what you want, you will get to discover whether it's truly what you want.

If you are destined to be a be with a woman for the rest of your life.... Good. If it failed, it's destined. We all don't have the same path through life.

Can you describe what the experience of being led to someone by your spirit is like? Has there ever been a time when you felt that you were being led to do something and in the end you discovered that it was not correct? Is it possible that you are mistaken in this case too? Would you rely on your spirit to pick the right answers for you in an exam?

Something you should know: If your lady-friend starts using better make-up, quality fake hair, quality jewellery, more stylish clothes that fit her perfectly and show some skin, etc, you’d probably be physically attracted to her. It would be as if she was a totally different person.

There is nothing like being led by the spirit to a lady. I repeat; there is nothing like of such. Why is the spirit always leading u guys to the beautiful sisters first? Why doesn't the spirit lead u guys to a sister u have never met before? Why is it always someone in your vicinity? And why does the spirit always lead u guys to another sister as soon as the first choice rejects u? It seems the spirit cannot make up its mind and always relies on chance.

By the way this sister u think the spirit is leading u to now is obviously not your first choice. You are desperately seeking a partner and because she is the only who seems available now who probably gives u attention, u think the spirit is leading you because u can tolerate her owing to her good qualities.

Leave the spirit out of your confusion bro.
