vibre: Is there no new yam festival in south Africa for her to attend? IPOB boys want to tell her something
Which ipob? Have you heard about any protest or destruction of thief dstv, mtn and co in the South East? Yet, majority of the people suffering in SA are from there and their sister is attending a useless summit in SA!
ariesbull: but as a legally married wife..she has a higher right...ask any lawyer Oga
Once a Yorubaman accepts his kids as his; whether he paid Bride's price, married or not, those kids are his and they have all the right in the world.
Yorùbás have got liberal culture when it comes to marriage and children; nothing changes the position of his earlier children. Moreover, you can't see them hating on Davido/Chioma's compared with Peter/Lola's case.
BTCog: There's a town in Osun state where NIM training is done for Youth Corps. That town is as cold as Jos. That town is Rocky and hilly as well. Can someone help me with the name of that town
Maybe Iree; the coldest places in the South particularly during harmattan are Efon, Iyin, Oye, Obudu, Ngwo, Iree, Nsukka, etc
oyatz: You don't seems to get it uptil now. The problem is NOT the North or the S/West but the people that want to be president. Nobody will call anyone and hand over the presidency to them just like that!
For now, only the APC and the PDP have strong structures and wide acceptability to win the Presidential election.
The Igbo politicians in these two parties aren't aspiring to be the presidential candidates of their parties,so how can they become president in 2023 and whose fault?
The Igbo political class have formidable investment in the PDP but they are not mounting pressure on the party to consider them for the ticket come 2023 rather they spend their time and energy (like Sambalat and Tobiahs in the Bible) on how to prevent Tinubu or any other candidate from the SW from emerging the President in 2023.
Wow! You've said it all!
This is the truth people don't want to hear or reason with.
Gazzy88: Your Item is in the post office already. Go and collect it.

bellachibaby: The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2018 Osun State governorship election, Senator Ademola Adeleke on Friday congratulated Governor Gboyega Oyetola on his victory at the Supreme Court.
Adeleke in a statement by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, stated that his ambition to be the Governor of Osun State was never a do-or-die affair.
He said the Supreme Court’s decision, regardless of his disagreement and disappointment with it remained final.
He said, “As a democrat and law-abiding citizen, I accept the ruling no matter my misgivings.
“I wish Governor Oyetola well in the governance of Osun State.”
Adeleke added, “In all circumstances, we must thank God Almighty. We gallantly fought a good fight in pursuance of a democratic cause.
“The ideals we fought for lives on.
“Our ambition was never a do-or-die affair. We aspired to serve and deliver democratic dividends to the people of Osun state. Our ambition was altruistic. We wish Governor Oyetola the best in the governance of the state.”
mrvitalis: The only way to unite the south is for south west to pick and igbo candidate and support
Anything other than that its just story
Yeah, but we must start somewhere. Igbos are mainly in PDP with great hatred for APC, even for their own people in the party; while most Yorubas support APC.
What makes Yorubas a bit successful in 1999 by presenting Obasanjo and Falae was because of unjust treatment of Abiola and his given mandate. Even till now, there are lots of northerners' investments in the South West and these people, e.g, Dangote, Dantata, Indimi, Isiaka Rabiu, etc., have lots of influence among northern cabals. They'll always give in to some Yorubas' demands, including the presidency.
Igbos must unite first and genuinely reach out to others. There should also be lots of established pressures on the ruling cabals using their advantages in many areas.
The reason i said I don't blame him but Yorubas is because when Igbos make move to secede from Nigeria so as to avoid being in one nation with this half baked humans up north, Yorubas will start cursing and attacking Igbos and will rather join force with them up north just to get a temporary political favor or position from them, that is why I am pointing accusing fingers at Yorubas.
If Yorubas can make up their mind like Igbos, we can divide Nigeria so Northerners can go their way, and we can come back to form united region of Southern Nigeria between the remaining Southern states in Nigeria but first, Northerners must go their way first, they should join their brothers in Chad and Niger
The Hausa/Fulani people are very wise in their own understanding. Their belief is that we can never unite down South because we'll keep blaming ourselves for the past and present. They mock us as we taunt ourselves everyday. We should summon great courage to forgive, forget the past and forge on to achieve our true independence through federalism, confederate or separate nations. Igbos had tried to leave and fought for over 30 months but still in the same position, the West is troubled by attacks by herdsmen in the bush and roads these days, we can't compare Niger Delta development with other oil producing areas of the world. These are few reasons we must come together once and for all, fight together and shame our common enemy. However, our politicians and some youths are our albatrosses. While some are very very selfish, some are already campaigning for another northerner after Buhari.
The northern men believe they will continue to use polygamous set up to increase their populations while we control our births down South. I don't subscribe to denying any part or group the opportunity to rule this nation, since she belongs to all of us. We can't just continue in this stupid democracy. One day we will wake up in the South and call a spade a spade! We should start by stop laying emphasis on ethinicity or religion and other unhealthy competitions. He was even saying someone's ChrisMus!
franchasng: The man is inconsistent with his gibberish!
I blame Yorubas for all these, if not, why would great Igbos remain as one nation with people of low IQ like this Abookiina
Your ilks are our problem in the South. You couldn't blame the northern man but the Yorubas! We are the ones that divide ourselves and allow this kind of person to be talking gibberish about Christians or Southerners.
I wish we could all unite for once down South! The type of democracy we practice without true federalism is the worst for a multi ethnic country like Nigeria. We must put a stop to this.
engreo: Every town and villages was once a bush or forest, and Yoruba people were known for naming their town and villages after the nature or their first experiences at their place of settlement. What can you say about igbo-irumole or oke-igbo, igbo-oloyin, igbo-ora, are they making references to igbo tribe too?
Same with 'ikot' in Akwa Ibom languages.
Igbo, apart from being bush, also means 'headbutt' in Yoruba language
Igodomigodo people self are sky people (witches that own no land), the less than 7 LGAs land Binis are occupying now is own by Oru, Yorubas, etc. even the land deities are Yorubas'.
They would just come online and shout 'Bini owns Lagos'. where exactly do you own in Lagos? Not even few plots of Iga palace not to talk about island LGA or the entire State that has Awori, Ijebu, Egun, etc rulers!
Gabriel004: Wailing of the century. Stupidity is when you believe, follow and drink urine of one porn star and come online to write jargons on how you don't do follow follow even after collecting kerosene.
And all the posts were through elections so far; it's high time they left wailing and blame game.
Igodomigodo people were just like their neighbours to the East; whatever culture and religion; dresses and traditional regalia you find them with today, were gotten from Eastern Yorubas. Ada/Ida, Akun Iyun(Beads), etc have been with the Central/Eastern Yorubas for generations, even before Ogisos who never used them until Oba period.
I know the OP has been opening divisive threads upon threads to denigrate the Yorubas and the next thing he does is to start calling his brothers from the East/Benin to come and masturbate...
PHIPEX: NCR VP came from the East yet MKO won Anambra, what do you say to that?
PDP VP, Obi came from the East, yet Yoruba states of Oyo, Ondo and almost Osun voted for PDP (and Osinbajo, their son is VP already). What are you suggesting?
Abogwara: How come Ondo and Rivers had more votes than Lagos? That's a miracle figure I may say. 2ndly Kano wasn't in the league of millions then sharing equal voting strength with most other States.
No be today this billion billion start
They were next to Lagos.
In those days, Ondo(and Ekiti) had one of the highest population in the country. In fact, former Ondo State had the highest number of secondary and primary schools in the country. Cocoa and other cash crops were booming with people giving birth a lot to be engaged in farming. people from other regions also troupe in.
There are also fertile land with lots of farm settlements to sustain the population. several large dams were built to pump water to every community. There were also other industries then...
one of the fallout of increase investments in education, particularly in Ekiti is reduction in number of children, average 2 per family.
Kingosytex: oshiomole is a political game changer. his political sagacity is superb. this astute politician from edo state deserves some credit. take it or leave it, oshiomole is a genius
If every politician can imbibe this:
“I don’t seat on the fence. I have strong conviction and I am driven by my conviction''
obyback: I hope conspiracy theorist will shut up now about FG not allowing other ports to work
They won't bother to find out the truth! As if FG is the importer; those ports are actually working but goods' importers to that region don't want to pay extra money for freight distance, security, etc. Wailers just love to wail over things...
seanfer: During PDP's regimes the SE was the Deputy Senate President and also Deputy Speaker even when the SW was not given any position. Nobody called them selfish.. Ike ekweremadu and Emeka Ihedioha.
The VP, Sambo and Speaker, Tambuwal were also from North West under Jonathan; as well as the DSP and DS from South East.
