So what were u doing ...if not because of ur insecurity
Ask yourself genuinely, who is unsecured between Binis and Yorubas?

Your 6-7 LGA didn't take Biafra a day to invade; it will not take a day for Ijaw, Urhobo, few LGAs in Ondo or Ekiti to over run again if you misbehave.

If Nigeria divides today, you don't even belong anywhere. Your insecurity is out of this world, mr Igodomigodo. Insecurity is the reasons you are so obsessed with Yorubas and opening very foolish threads every minute to discourage intelligent and great threads in Culture. Insecurity makes you Bini revisionists submitted lots of tales by moonlight without single fact; we only laugh at your gullibility these days.

there are five kings representing each region but two from the North one from West one from South and one from East I don't know where you see North and South only. I am sure you will not have required the present of the Oba of Benin there if the South was not independence just like the West. so please stop all this your argument.
Alaafin is always invited from the West but due to Oòni being recognised ahead of him by federal government as co-chairman with sultan, he doesn't go to such occasions.

You can go and challenge Oòni's position and federal government in a law court if you're so pained. Don't you find your oba far far back in the picture.

Etinosa1234:
So tell me ...what makes the Ogiamen family more truthful than the oba of Benin
Hope you can enlighten us more about Ekiokpagha Treaty?

It's clear to the reasonable world that Ekaladerhan's moon light tale is to solidify and give credence to Oba of Bini as been indigenous to Igodomomigodo and relegate the treaty. Also for Igodomomigodo people's acceptance and cooperation. Oba Erediauwa was the author of all this. His son may uphold the treaty and the connection between Benin and Ifẹ.

Once more, I take nothing out of Ogiamien's case and they should also know that they can never relegate Oba of Bini status. Had Oba Erediauwa known this, he wouldn't have gone into promoting Ekaladerhan's story.
I also have no further submission to make on this; several facts had been submitted on this forum...You can simply join in, against Ogiamien family in the case.

Onijagidijagan:
Oduduwa is not even the direct father of Oranmiyan is like saying Oba Eweka 1 is the father of Oba Ereduwa does that make any sense to you?
This is the area a lot of Bini revisionists get confused. The Ogiamien family had said everything, Oba of Bini is an extension of Yoruba kingdom of Ifẹ.
CultureRe: The Battle Of The Titans: The Ogiso aborigines Vs Oba Of Benin by lx3as(m): 5:59pm On Sep 01, 2020
Sensible people know that Ekaladerhan's concocted moon light tale originated from Oba Erediauwa. How could Yoruba people in about 8 states with about 20 senatorial Districts and in more than 5 countries came from people that their entire extension not more than few local government areas? Moreover, they decided to drop the Ogiso title, their gods and deities for Yorubas'. The Ogiamien's story is more genuine but they should forget about relegating Oba of Bini to few LGAs.

If APC fail to field an Igbo man south East then Its best for PDP to Zone the presidential ticket to the North

If APC want to zone south it must be micro zones to the south East or just forget it let every tribe and region contest and let those with bigger population win
When APC is not a stupid party! Knowing fully well if the zone is given the chance, they will still abandon its candidate and vote en mass for their adored PDP.

As I passed through Niger bridge yesterday, I was marvelled at the rate of work on 2nd Niger bridge by APC government. I really couldn't fathom the sheepish followership of PDP in this zone. Now you want APC, the Islamic, the Tinubu, the Buhari party, you hate so much to give you its presidential candidate so as to dump the party by the wayside and follow your love, PDP.

PoliticsCivil Servants From Grade 12 To Resume Work by lx3as(op): 10:06am On Aug 07, 2020
The Federal Government has directed civil and public servants from the grade level 12 and above to immediately resume work.

The Nation reports only workers from grade level 14 and above were permitted to resume work until the new directive.

It also extended working hours to normal official hours from Monday to Friday with the mandatory use of non-medical face masks.

The National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Dr. Sani Aliyu, disclosed these during its briefing in Abuja.

He said: “For government offices and other corporate offices, we are now extending working hours to normal official hours from Monday to Friday, with the mandatory use of non-medical face masks.

“We encourage work at home policy for civil/public servants below the grade level of 12.

“Essential staff of grade level 12 and above may be allowed to come to work.

“Our previous cut-off was grade level 14. Temperature checks will be carried out in all official government buildings.

“With industry and labour, the main modification we have is an advisory for banks to limit the number of customers within the operating areas to 50 percent occupancy within the banking halls in order to allow for physical distancing and to limit their workers to 75 percent or less. But banking operations shall continue as usual.”

The excesses of these ipob criminal minds in the SW need to be curbed. I have observed an increasing number of crimes perpetrated by these Biafrats in Ogun state lately. They left Biafra in search of greener pastures in the SW, only to come and start committing crimes. This nonsense must stop. angry
It's disheartening that these people perpetuate all sorts of crimes in every state of the SW but I haven't heard of Yoruba criminality in the East. There was a time they even kidnapped Osun State house speaker's wife. Very unfortunate our leaders are sleeping.

Why did Yoruba abandon their brother when he needed them most?
Your tribe is known for wailing and emotions, bro!

So, keep wailing or you read what your man wrote here, you'll understand Yorubas better.

Joe Igbokwe says it raw!

"Did the Yoruba go to war when June 12 1993
Presidential Election won by their illustrious
son Chief MKO Abiola was annulled on June
23rd 1993 on a sheet of paper by IBB?
Did Yoruba go to war when Abiola’s wife
Alhaja Kudirat Abiola was murdered in Lagos
in the morning of Jun 4 1996?
Did Yoruba go to war when the winner of that
historic election was poisoned on July 7
1998?
Did Yoruba go to war when those who killed
Abiola imposed Obasanjo on them as
President in 1999?
Did Yoruba accept Chief Ernest Shonekan
when IBB made him to head the interim
government in 1993? Yoruba rejected OBJ and
Shonekan because this unique race has never
been slaves to public office and yet they have
remained number one in Nigeria in almost
everything. This is wisdom and strategic
thinking at work.
Those of us who have lived in Yoruba land for
years should not only learn how to wear Aso
Ebi, eat Ewedu soup or dance Owambe,
music.
We must have also learned other unique
things from them like sharing property to both
male and female children, religious tolerance,
ethnic tolerance, transferring legacies from
generation to generation. Do you know that
APC National Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed
Tinubu’s wife is a Christian? Do you know that
former Governor Fashola’s wife is a Christian?
We can learn a lot from Yoruba. Yoruba too
can learn from Igbo in areas of thinking home,
business enterprise, self-help, apprenticeship,
etc.
A Yoruba woman, a Pastor Mrs. Eunice
Olawale Elisha of the Redeemed Christian
Church of God old NEPA Road Phase 4
Kubwa, Abuja was killed by unknown persons
on Saturday morning of July 9, 2016, while
preaching the gospel around 5.30am. I have
followed the reactions on the internety and
Yoruba do not behave like the Igbo. They have
been speaking but not preaching hate. They
have called for the culprits to be fished out,
prosecuted and punished. If Mrs. Eunice
Elisha had been an Igbo hell would have been
let loose. There would have been abuses and
abuses. But Yoruba are not Igbo. This is
civilization. This is strategic thinking. I hope
our people can learn from this. Civility is not a
sign of weakness. He who fights and run
away lives to fight another day.
When GEJ marginalized Yoruba in his cabinet
for five years despite been the most vocal in
an effort to make him president, Yorubas
didn't threaten anybody, they didn't abuse
anybody, they simply fought in a peaceful &
civilized way to effect a change in 2015 using
their PVC. Today the most active VP since the
independence & most likely, the next president
of Nigeria is Yoruba. Fashola heads 3
ministries & referred to as prime minister in
some parlance, Kemi Adeosun heads finance,
Fayemi heads mines etc. That's how to fight
for relevance in multi faceted country like
Nigeria & not taking up arm against everybody.
To have ears is not to listen, to listen is not to
hear, to hear is not to understand, to
understand is not to put to practice. I know
that writing this may not get me many friends
among the Igbo, but it always gets me the
right ones"

Of course Omoyele Sowore is an IJAW,Born an Apoi in KIRIBOU town ese odo lga ondo state. For those yorubas who like to argue about his being an Ijaw, below are questions for you to ponder on to clear your doubts
1.What does KIRIBOU mean in Yoruba
2.What part of the Yoruba geneology is Apoi
I3.Is KALA-SUWO the traditional title of the Paramount Ruler of Apoi a Yoruba word ?
4.Does OBOROWEI the Diety of the Apois Sound Yoruba
5.How about BOU-ABUH the festival of the Apois
6.Below are the towns / villages of the Apois does anyone of them sound or have any meaning in Yoruba language or the above names about Sowore's Clan, town, deity, traditional title or Festival have any meaning remotely or suggestively in Yoruba ?
IGBEKEBO, OBORO, UGBO-OTU, UGBO-BINI,OJU-ALA, SAIBOMO, ENEKOROGHA, UKPEKE.
leave you to make your deductions but if you doubt me, Google the word Apoi and make your informed conclusion.
This is a poor submission...I've never seen any Yoruba claiming Sowore. What made you believe Ugbó/Igbó (bush) or Oju-ala (boundary) or Sabomi (where to fetch water) are not Yoruba words or dialects?

It's a known fact to Yorubas of Ondo State that the Apoi, whom Sowore, Agboola Àjàyí(Ondo Dep Gov), etc belong to, migrated earlier from present Bayelsa state to their new place in Ondo State years ago and assimilation as Yorubas just like Olùkùmi Yorubas did in Delta north.
Arogbo Ijaw group later came from mainly Delta to settle in the same Ese Odo LGA, they are mainly bilingual now (Yoruba and Arogbo Ijaw languages) unlike their Apoi neighbours who already lost their former language and only have Yoruba names and traditions safe for some cultural heritage.
So, Sowore can call himself anything he likes, Yoruba or Ijaw; it's not for us to decide for him.
