Travel › Re: FG Places Travel Restrictions On Ministers, Others by LZAA: 5:11pm On Dec 30, 2019
Simplyleo:
Well, I don't think this should be.

It would have been more appropriate if the policy places emphasis on foreign trips by ministers only when it is very necessary. Otherwise, it should be at the expense of the traveller and no allowances (estacode) for such.

But placing a ceiling at the official number of foreign trips by public office holders doesn't seem to make sense.

It is possible a minister need not travel offially in a year, conversely, a minister may also need to go out of the country more than 10 times in a year. It all depends on necessity.

garbage analysis, was klopp a household name when he managed Mainz, as if he had better option then.. tell him to go and manage Mainz now that he is an established coach, let's see if he will...Stop trying to discredit the work of pep, every players and coaches agrees he has been the best manager for the past decade, your opinion is not needed as it is irrelevant.. Even if pep wins the league and Ucl with Norwich, you all haters will bring another excuse.

Christianity Etc › Re: 4 Reasons I'm Considering Becoming An Atheist by LZAA: 12:32pm On Dec 30, 2019
damoobaba:
You said there's no God and you're feeling on top of the world
1. is it America that created the air you're breathing?
2. is it kainji dam that generated the water bodies of the world. Oceans, seas, rivers etc.
3. The sea and land animals. where did they come from?
4. Have you wondered how a mixture of gas(the cloud) is able to hold all matter on earth in place and not allow to just pass through it.
5.And the other NUMEROUS planets, is it Albert Einstein or Michael Faraday that created them. I have more questions for you anyway.

But until you answer these ones accurately with facts, I feel what you need is to be EDUCATED on who God really is, but not doubt HIS existence. Doubting his existence could prove to be very fatal for you.
Everytime atheists hear these questions they keep mute
Even the American constitution is founded with God as the guiding principle

Even if the 37b is not spent for the renovation, another channel will still be created for sharing it among themselves.

It is even possible they have already shared it while flying kite to see public reaction. Not that they are bothered by public reaction though. I don't even like talking about these NASS members, they are all united especially on matters like this.

swazpedro:
Bringing American families into Nigeria setting, to me as long as you can feed them all population doesn't matter, a typical Nigerian would be scared if he has only one child, the dwindling population in the west and them opening up their borders for emigration in past years should tell you that this your ideology seems good but on the long run it's baseless to me, I know the joy I got from my siblings care, I won't make my children feel less cause this age and time and scared of overpopulation, the major strength the North has against other zones is their population just so you know they hold a deciding factor in all elections... FELLOW NIGERIANS BORN AS MUCH AS YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF, bad economy or good economy... The end will justify the stress... No use OP oyibo mentality that feels that anything the West is doing is just right logically
That's what I'm trying to tell them
U can't use european/American setting in Africa
It can't work
Even in their side so many couples have up to 5 or 6 kids and depend on food stamps/welfare checks

Obi1kenobi:
No it does not. I don't know where you're getting your strange stats from. Nigeria's birth rate, fertility rate and population growth rate are FARRRR higher than Brazil. It's not even close. Please, use your Google. This is 2019, not 1919.

Homosexuality has little influence on birth rates. Homosexuals are a small minority of the population.
China's population is not a measure of its breeding habits. It simply means ancient China consolidated a very large, homogeneous civilization. And nobody is talking about population here, but population growth rate. China's population is static and barely growing and might be entering a period of recession (like Japan and South Korea which have declining populations). Most of the population growth in the world over the next century will come from subsaharan Africans because we still breed like medieval Europeans. It's symptomatic of an unproductive culture. It's a fact of life that productive, enlightened cultures simply don't have the time or inclination to be breeding like rabbits. And we need a serious reorientation.
Err China's population is still growing
Infact it grew from 1.3 to 1.4 billion
Trying to pin population explosion on africa because of our culture is not only naive but downright ridiculous
Oh btw brazil has a bigger population than nigeria hell even more landmass
Believe it or not homosexuality has a huge effect on population so u saying it does not is a huge fallacy
Funny u mentioned ancient china but discarded ancient nigeria

I am surprised to find you at this side of the aisle given your political leanings but I respect your right to hold an opinion.
Same here
But in fertility issues there is no one route or method
It's very complex
Some want one,some three,some five
I know a woman who left her marriage cuz the husband said 3 kids were enough
It's all a matter of choice
Family › Re: How Do Average Nigerian Couples Have More Than 2 Children? by LZAA: 4:22pm On Dec 29, 2019
Obi1kenobi:
Nobody is arguing it doesn't boil down the choice. That's the point: that our regressive culture encourages and incentivizes people to breed like rats.

And Alabama or Texas don't have high birth rates. According to the US Census Bureau, Alabama's birth rate is even lower than the US - with about 11.7 births per 1000. There is no Western country that has a high birth rate. Even Middle Easterners, Asians and Latin American countries who used to have high birth rates have progressed. It's mostly in this backward continent where people continue to breed anyhow.
You keep missing the point
Brazil alone has a higher birth rate than nigeria
U won't say brazil is totally backward would you
Also u have to factor in the fact that in south america and africa homosexuality is an anomaly hence man and wife
Also last time i checked china alone still has a billion plus population excluding immigrants
Are they backwards too?

Obi1kenobi:
All throughout the West, birth/fertility rates have dropped below population replacement level (around 2 children per woman), which means if not for immigration, many Western countries would have receding populations. China despite relaxing its one child rule has a very low birth rate. It's in the natural cycle of developed or seriously developing economies to have low birth rates due to the empowered, career-focused female population. It's generally mostly the poorest, most poorly educated, underdeveloped countries in the world (like most of subsaharan Africa) where people still breed like rats and cultivate a vicious cycle of poverty.
I agree but like i said it all boils down to choice
States like alabama and texas have high birth rates
Same in liverpool and Glasgow
Family › Re: How Do Average Nigerian Couples Have More Than 2 Children? by LZAA: 2:03pm On Dec 29, 2019
In the us and Britain some couples have up to seven or eight kids
Population planning is well on theory but trust me there is a reason even china had to reverse their one child rule
It's just not practical
