Just wondering if there are companies in Nigeria that give job opportunities to people passionate about programming but lack the required high level skills.

I mean companies that employ trainee or junior programmers and train them up to become competent on the job.

I also noticed that there are just few companies that allow people with little to no programming knowledge to do internships with them. They usually want people that already have programming experience.

If anyone here has links to organizations that regularly have these kind of job openings, kindly provide such info. It will be appreciated. Thanks.

Ps: I’m a self taught web designer with very good skills in Wordpress and average skill in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript. I am still learning but would love to get junior programmer job opportunity.

Regardless if women earn their own money, a man must be able to demonstrate his ability to confer security, as without it, what will it benefits a woman to be with him?

To the topic, let no man be deceived, you must ensure you work hard to become comfortable financially and materially. No woman ever wish to marry a poor man. Even God created Adam in the garden of eden and provided him with a means to take care of his woman. My people poverty is not good and it’s not something anyone should be comfortable with. At least a man should be able to feed himself and family comfortably even though he’s not rich. Sure not everyone will be rich at the same time.

Men should stop being sissy and allowing women to dominate them in relationships.

So recently, someone here sent me a mail seeking assistance with his wordpress-managed website. He said he's been unable to notice his CSS changes while developing his themes to his taste.

According to him, he's done all the usual stuff. Emptied/cleared/purged his admin page caches and even his browser caches.

He contacted his web hosting provider and they cleared a varnish cache stuck somewhere en-route his server.

Still, a simple change such as background color still wasn't effective when he'd reload the site.

Well, he's not alone. When I first started web development, I experienced the exact same issue. Mine was so frustrating that I had to get a new domain.

However, a now-popular plugin is known to fix that issue and stop the caching problem.

Busted! is a plugin that forces the browser to load the most recent version of your CSS, stopping the caching issue. However, this doesn't mean you shouldn't regular your caches and keep it at all-time low.


ReBusted! is also an upgrade to Busted!, and you could install both if you want to. However, ReBusted! Won't work on all versions of WordPress.

well op, I think most people here start out with a survival job for about 2-4 months before landing their dream jobs. Ofcourse its different experience for different people. My first job wasn't survival job at all, and I got it 6 days after landing. its not all bed of roses though. but overall, its worth all the efforts. I am currently working in the same field I was in Nigeria.
