LOL! Oh my God you are so funny! You are even getting funnier per response. grin grin grin

I like how you appeal to authority and try to use reverse psychology all in the bid to make me sympathize with you over the loss of a mere username.

Sorry bud, it's not working.
I give up, Mr. Anony!

You have finally gone bonkers!

dekung: Seriously, is there any sense in what is written up there. Is there an Iota of meaning in it? You made claims as if the letter of apology was addressed to you only to turn back and say you are not sure. Did you fall of the stoopidity tree and hit your head on every single branch on your way down? Read your post again and see if there is sense in it.
Tell am!

Niflheim: pat robertson once said that he wanted to do operation blessing in zaire, but his pilot said that it was not true and that he was flying diamond drilling equipment in and out of the country.this was at a time of a trade embargo on mobutu sese seko.
Pat Robertson is evil!

Ptolomeus: They are all phonies. I agreed to a survey, which confirmed that the vast majority of pastors are former inmates, who can not access a normal job because of his criminal record. Then, choose to embrace the Bible and prophesy as a means of economic support. Imagine ... all those men who claim to be pure, and love God, are mostly ex-offenders, hungry for power and money (tithes) ... Can he be a prophet any of them?
Bah!
What? Criminal records?

Pastors are the real devils of today!

Niflheim: because they are all fake, benny hinn is the guy that claimed that he used to go to a grave to talk to a dead woman, kathy kuman.he is a freemason, cause they always combine islamic and christian names(his real name is taofik benedictus),following the masonic examples of elijah mohammed, louis farrakhan and barack'baruch' obama.
lol.....agreed but why mention Obama? What is his name doing there

InesQor: Does this response of yours assume that God does magic, and does not work through science?

Look all around you at the wonders of science. If we assume (I know you're atheist, so just assume) that God created it all, then why should we NOT see that God can destroy a city by sending hail and fire, in a SCIENTIFICALLY explainable way?

As I said before, let's be objective in our criticism please.
lol....God does magic if in the old testament, he created Adam or he helped make the sun stand still! Or the fact that Jesus healed without medicine.
Christianity EtcWhy Is That The Most Influential Christian Leaders Are Always Scandalous? by MacDaddy01(op): 3:57pm On Jul 10, 2012
Why? Why are the most popular pastors, priests, popes, internet evangelists always guilty of one scandal or the other?

Benny Hinn

Oyedepo

Creflo Dollar

Shockofgod

Okotie

Pat Robertson

etc.

Why are these guys always failing under scrutiny? Why? It seems that every big pastor on TV fails when they come under scrutiny. Why?

Why doesnt this happen to top atheists or agnostics?
Christianity EtcRe: Strong Bible Teachers Can You Explain This Verse by MacDaddy01: 3:45pm On Jul 10, 2012
InesQor: @MacDaddy01

Even if they didn't know what a meteor is, they could see "stars" falling from heaven.

"Fire" reportedly fell from heaven many times in the Old Testament, in some cases burning up entire cities (e.g. Sodom and Gomorrah). The prophet did not KNOW what a meteor or asteroid is, but he SURELY could describe what he saw.

We should try to be objective in our criticism.
lol....so God did not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah., it was a scientifically explainable meteor that destroyed the city?
Christianity EtcRe: Strong Bible Teachers Can You Explain This Verse by MacDaddy01: 3:21pm On Jul 10, 2012
over a 1000 years ago, the bible wouldnt be interpreted like this. People didnt know what a galaxy is or what a meteor is.

Funny how the word of God which is perfect keeps changing every few hundred years

firebrand: This is referring to the galaxy, the host are the powers and principalities. This would take place prior to the arrival of the new earth and the new heaven. Dont forget that everything we see today would be consumed by fire before the new Jerusalem would descend from God.

noetic16: I simply exposed your folly. The person received the monetary gift without any hesitation, hence, it is a self-fulfilling prophecy. is this rocket science? huh

really huh huh

This is the height ignorance and a lack of basic education. How can u open your mouth to say the above? The fact that you dont subscribe to creationism or intelligent design does not in any way make them less credible.

I laugh in french
After being exposed for ignorance on slf-fulfilling prophecies, you are now trying to say that you exposed me? LMAO. Self-fulfilling prophecies first came as a sociological term to describe an aspect of human behaviour. It is not spiritual.

As for creationism, it is not scientific and has no evidence.

Christianity EtcRe: The 5 Arguments That Killed Atheism. by MacDaddy01: 2:53pm On Jul 10, 2012
noetic16: Quite Idiotic. Instead of going on in circles, perhaps a little bit of education on the ability of humans would help. In your example above, have you considered the possibility that the person you told the prophecy might simply receive a buoyant financial from another person that makes them rich and fulfil the prophecy. Are you so STUPID, you never thought of the passive possibility of dreams coming to fulfilment without human efforts?
In trying to illogically debunk me, you debunk yourself. You do not know what a self fulfilling prophecy is. The terms of the prophecy must be related to the fulfilling action. If in my example, the prophecy came to pass because someone else gave the guy money, as you said, then it is not a self fulfilling prophecy.

noetic16: Says who? Idiot. How can the memory create a future? who taught you science?
Who said that memory creates future? What I said was that de ja vu is memory based. The explanation; you experience de ja vu because you have a memory of experiencing a situation in the past.

noetic16: This is quite SILLY. What is your explanation for the origin of life? That you dont know or accept it or does not dismiss the possibility of God creating it.
There is no evidence for God. No one knows the full picture of the origin of life. Anyone who claims to know is a liar. Anyone who claims to know that God did it is a liar or deluded. There is no evidence for God. None. That is why it is called "faith". Belief without evidence.

noetic16: really? huh
grin

I am sure you do realize that your link is by no means a comprehensive list.
The list is for famous people who have converted from agnosticism or atheism to christainity. It can never be exhaustive but it will always be a shorter list than those converting to atheism because atheism is growing in the West
............and what about atheists who convert to religion?
There are very few atheists that do that. But here are the reasons;

1) They are lying to get political or social favours.......christattheists!

2) They were born into atheist/agnostic households who didnt explain what religion is and its problems.

3) They were moved by a shocking moment eg a false miracle, self-fulfilling prophecy or death etc
Christianity EtcRe: The 5 Arguments That Killed Atheism. by MacDaddy01: 11:49am On Jul 10, 2012
noetic16: You shot yourself in the foot. If a dream is a self-fulfilling prophecy does that not connote spiritualism or a realm outside of the material? For a fact we know that the brain is incapable of graphically describing future events as done in dreams. Hence, meaningfully-prophesying dreams are from a different realm.
Dumbazz, do you know what a self-fulfilling prophecy is? There is nothing spiritual about it. It just means that it is a prophecy that comes true only because one acted on it. Self-fulfilling prophecies can be avoided. You are really ignorant. If I tell someone that he will be rich and he believes this and he works hard to be rich, that is a self-fulfilling prophecy. He could have been poor by not doing anything

noetic16: Whats your point? Do you actually know what Deja vu means?
De ja vu is memory based. Nothing spiritual. If there are drugs that can increase chances of experiencing de ja vu, it is not spiritual.

noetic16: Evolution does not explain the origin of life. What are the components of the first chemical reaction as claimed by evolution? What are the chemical components of the big-bang? Perhaps you refer to biogenesis, even that does a very bad job at explaining the origin of life.
I already said that evolution does not explain how the first organisms came. Just because we dont fully know everything about the origin of life deosnt meant that we should attribute it to God. If scientists thought like this, we would still be believing that the sun moves around the earth from the bible.

noetic16: 4. Your assertion assumes that there was a point in time where NOTHING existed. What is the basis of this assumption?
Big Bang?
