You and your weak arguments, In Medieval times, the muslims were practising Islam and were on top of the world in terms of science, technology and standard of life. Even up to the mid 19th century, the muslim empire was still very powerful. If you know anything about history, you will know that power and influence has always changed hands and it will again in the future. It has nothing to do with the veracity of a faith. In fact, the decline of the muslim lands was due to abandoning Islam not because of it.

As a muslim, i am convinced that Islam offers me the best way for me to live my life and serve my community. I am intellectually convinced of the divinity of the Quran and its role as guidance for my life. I do my best to follow Islam.

Islam is meant for everybody. Zakat is used to take care of the poor, they are excused from not performing the hajj rite and some poor people do get sponsorship, a joblessness man can engage in work that is haram ( even stealing is allowed if again one is pushed by dire needs) hence the jobless man can feed his family conditioned on the nature of the problem he finds himself.

Do you think muslims reading your response take you seriously? Millions of muslim who engage in riba do so ignorantly, due to no chioce or in violation of the tenets of Islam. Most mulsim will simply see you as one who cooks up fantasy to delude yourself with tales that would make the devil blush as being embarrassing to his ministry! The practicality of Islam is known to all! keep lying to yourself, Muslims who practice their religion know it is the truth sent by Allah the lord of the word and Allah has made his deen practicable! My reasoning is in no way shallow (just more misuse of words), its very simple... for example, every school has rules and regulations that every student is required to adhere to regardless of their family background. Of course you have a choice to send your child to another school or keep them at home if you do not like the rules. Its the same with heaven... there are rules of entry. If you feel they are too onerous for you, feel free to create your own heaven.
