PoliticsRe: Residents In Abia, Anambra, Enugu Grown Over Fuel At N165- N170 Per Litre by macjive01: 1:45am On Jan 19, 2012
As shown during the fuel subsidy protests, the word Ibo stands for "I Before Others"

But if these sometimes educated but very devilish minded Ibo's think they can outsmart the Yoruba's, then they have another thing coming.
Firstly thats the not spelling of IGBO, just as Yoruba can mean , , (i dont want to be nasty), .

Igbos not joining the protest?

how many yorubas joined the protest outside lagos ?

the TUC leader is an Igbo,

Many of the protester in Abuja, are they yotubas ?

even in the lagos rally, aside the agberos and political rascals, did u not notice the well dressed protested, the well mannered and groomed protesters? did u not? Now, who do u think they are?

How much do u think fuel is in Ekiti ? in Ore? go and figure before u come onto the internet to display ur stretch mark infested, amala induced smelling gutter of a mouth.
PoliticsStrike And Its Ugly Repercussion On Nigerian Girls by macjive01(op): 2:42am On Jan 16, 2012
Months after Saturday Sun expose on child sex industry and the consequent police raids on Lagos brothels housing teenage girls, EMMANEL MAYAH (emmamayah@yahoo.co.uk) investigates yet another vice; this time, the underground world of pornographic filmmakers. He discovers some secret locations, recruitment mode and the Mafia-style creed turning the wheel of an industry nicknamed Nude Nollywood.

Ever wondered what became of the hundreds of Nigerian ladies deported yearly from Italy and other parts of Europe where they had sojourned on sex trade? Ever heard of one success story out of the much-publicised scheme designed to give a new life to those victims(?) of human trafficking? In other words, have you ever seen one former comfort-girl, plucked from the glitzy life of Torino, now sweating it out as a waitress or apprentice fashion designer, all in the name of rehabilitation?

In more ways than one, the Italy returnees, already used to measuring their essence in dollars and Euro, have proved that the leopard cannot really change its spot. Wanting in skills and good academic qualification, the last thing anyone heard about these girls was the unsuccessful bid, of some of the most desperate among them, to return to Europe. For those that went underground, never to be heard of again, the conclusion was that a few truly slipped across the border while the majority stayed back in the country to do other things.

Those “other things” may never had been known but for a discreet newspaper advert tucked away in the crowded pages of society magazines including Fame, Encomium and City People. The message was innocuous and simply informed the reader of the availability of a collection of adult home videos made in Nigeria. The advert further listed the addresses of some distributors in Lagos, Ibadan and other cities where these items could be purchased. The year was 2001.

Like a wildfire, the news spread across the cities. In their hundreds, possibly thousands, connoisseurs of illicit tastes trooped out to these stores to get copies. Some were lucky. Among the home-grown porn on sale were videos with explicit titles as Valentine Sex Party, Oba’s Nine Daughters, A Forest of Flowers, The last Nigerian Virgin and Allen Avenue. Hotter than hot cake, the producers of those porn smiled to the bank, but only,

Stop being mischievous Alj harem, Igbos are not 70- 90% of Lagos , they are , from the last census data, about 42 - 44% .
But they control far larger portion of the economy than their population.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo has condemned the exclusion of the southeast in the proposed refineries to be established by the federal government.
The Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, had told aviation correspondents that government would use the money realized from the removal of oil subsidy to rehabilitate the existing refineries and then build new ones in Bayelsa, Kogi and Lagos states.

president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State chapter, Chief Oliver Akubueze, said that the exclusion of south-east from the states where the new refineries would be located is not fair.
According to him, Southeast should be considered for the location of the refineries, going by the fact that it is also oil producing geo political zone and has the least of federal presence among all the geo-political zones in the country.
He urged President Goodluck Jonathan to ensure that the neglect of the southeast, which has been the trademark of successive governments does not continue.

Akubueze said that southeast deserves one refinery among other numerous federal presence.
His words,” It is very disheartening to hear from the Minister of Information Labaran Maku, that how the revenue to be generated from the proposed removal of oil subsidy would be shared has been concluded without a mention of the southeast. I want to say that this is not acceptable to us. The time has gone when Ndigbo are relegated to the background. President Jonathan should make sure that Ndigbo is involved in the scheme of things in the country. What is the basis of selecting Bayelsa, Kogi and Lagos for the location of new refineries while no state in the southeast was selected. For how long would they continue to remind us that we were vanguished?

You people need to realize that we are different, I'm not like you bitter and disgruntled scoundrels, there's absolutely no reason for me to criticize or badmouth a laudable project that directly benefits Nigerians regardless of tribe.

Shebi this is the same thing in Ikeja that your people are still badmouthing and trying to kill each other over.

We all know the reason why the same people displaying their hate and stupidity in the Ikeja mall thread are not doing the same thing in this thread and I also wonder why they are not insulting and abusing your governor in Enugu.

Obviously, it's very good only if it's in your village, but very bad when it's outside your borders. It only highlights how petty, vindictive many of you are.
Like I said, tribalism and hate controls many of you, you hate and display unnecessary jealousy over anything that has nothing to do with your tribe, you don't see anything meaningful outside your borders, talk less how it benefits Nigerians.
NA U CAUSE AM.

Nice one dude, but it seems mathematics is not ur strong point at all, and your eye-sight needs retro -fitting; how in earth can u say this project is 98% complete ?

How about work on the proposed exquisite, novel design, exotic international airport building ?

By the way, why phone do u use? The pixel of ur camera appear very poor, the contrast ration seems absimal, the focus -none existence.

Thanks once again for ur effort, That was very un-Nigerian. (which is good)

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Biafra Story (Paperback)
This is an in-depth and well argued book from a writer better known for other genres. My caveat to any reader is that Forsythe is shamelessly pro-Biafran and this is born out in his writing. I have no issue with writers having an opinion, but lets be clear of this from the outset. It's a book with lots of facts but for me, a little too much of 'he said in a private meeting which was unrecorded' type evidence rather than cold hard evidence. Read this book for an insight, but don't imagine it's wholly impartial.
THE BOOK, GIVES THE ACCOUNT OF THE WAR FROM OJUKWU'S VIEW, SO NO DOUBT IT MAY APPEAR PRO-BIAFRAN BUT ONE TRAITS OJUKWU HAS THAT ENDEARED HIM TO EVERYBODY, FRIENDS AND FOES ALIKE IS HIS IMMACULATE TRUTH. HE IS SO ABOVE LIE THAT YOU MIGHT THINK HE IS A god.

HE ACCEPTED MANY FAILURES IN THE BOOK. but he said " this war is not a war of choice, it is a reflex action in the face of eminent death"

"we either die fighting or live to be slaves"

(dont forget this was after the genocide)

MATE, I BELIEVE YOU HAVE READ MANY ACCOUNTS OF THE WAR FROM NIGERIANS ACCOUNT, IT WUDNT KILL TO HEAR FROM THE BIAFRAN ACCOUNT.

it is not like you guys have a choice of where to live. you have to live in the north and west to survive, so it is not a choice. Yorubas have a choice of whether to kill you or not and they chose not to (unlike some groups in the north). yoruba no hate igbo but you guys have a lot of psychological issues you have to deal with. we are all paying for your emotional baggage.
when lagos was to be sited as the state capital , awOLEwo threaten fire and hell if any part of yoruba was carved out as capital- myopic imp.

so the choice of lag as the state capital was not ur ingenuity neither was ur foresight.

Igbos are living in Lagos because of the opportunities it presents as the countries former state capital and accessibility to a federal functional seaport and developing it because of that strive to make Africa proud. take a look at Abuja- same story.
PoliticsRe: Exclusive - Chief Obafemi Awolowo On Biafra (in His Own Words) by macjive01: 9:43pm On Nov 28, 2011
IGBOs dont consider Yorubas enemies, if they do they wouldnt be developing ur cities and villages for you.

If Igbos consider yorubas enemies they wouldnt be living next door to them , even in interior places like ijebu ode and ota, ekiti etc.

we are only stating the fact, most YORUBAS ARE TREACHEROUS , cowardily and back stabbers.

the war was fought and lost, yes , Igbos lost.  picked themselves up for one Nigeria only to be faced with awolowo's genocidal vile ethnic cleansing financial policy.

but God pass devil, God showed his face, , . . .   *** we knew as the story ended.

Ojukwu clear said, YES, WE USED THE PLIGHT OF OUR PEOPLE FOR THE WARS PROPAGANDA. THATS TRUE, BUT THE BLOCKAGE OF THE CAUSE OF KWASHOKO WAS ALSO TRUE.

awolowo and the Hausa are very silly and myopic. when the war started, there were lots of Igbos and Efik people especially the ones in Lagos and other non-northern towns, who were vehemently against the war. even in the eastern assemble there were many , tho in minority who vote against the war.

The awolowo and his Hausa Muslim furore ganged up to establish a genocidal pogrom on all Easterners even those against the war, many Igbos were killed in Lagos, in kogi etc, making those Igbos to accept Ojukwu propaganda that the Hausa are bent on killing them all.
