truthman2012: Talking about Sango there was a mix-up. All the same, they were both highly possessed men created by Yahweh you are comparing them with.
pls this thread is not about Sango
Why is This guy talking about Sango??

I don't have time to teach you Yoruba history.
This here is Ogun lakaye Osinmole vs Yahweh El shaddai

It is untrue that Yahweh who created everything including the plains and valleys had problem dealing with them
Since He created them He could not have problems destroying them. I think that tallies with common sense.
Prove Yahweh had power over the inhabitants of the valley and plains by showing us a passage where Yahweh's strength was at display

All you doing are claims that can't be backed by even ur Bible
Ur Bible gives enough evidence that Yahweh's strengthened only on mountains

Yahweh didn't create everything, neither did he create the canaanites that he so hated and discriminated against

I have told you the reason Judah could not drive the people out because God had the plan to gradually drive them out, which He already had told Moses. I have also told you that the people of the plain spared by the Israelites was their own disobedience for which God was displeased and not attributable to His weakness.
pls show us the reason Judah could not drive out the people??
Wait! Lemme show everybody as the Bible puts it in clear words

Judges 1:19 - And Yahweh was with Judah and he drove out the inhabitants of the mountain but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley because they had chariots of iron.

Keys words : COULD NOT, BECAUSE
Judah could not, meaning they didn't have the power, why didn't they have the power?.because the Canaanite tribes of the valley had chariots of Iron

This is common sense here
Even in modern times you mr truthman dare not attack an army with superior technology, if you like pray and even sacrifice to ur Yahweh, it wouldn't change your story

It is true that anyone who rejects the Almighty God will worship a lesser being
every God is almighty to those devoted to it.
Yahweh's case ain't different

. What did Ogun create? Ogun was known for only destructions in Yorubaland and probably by those who imported him to other countries through slave trade.
Ogun created all metallic elements, your bones and blood cells.

Ogun is Yoruba as Gu is in Akan, even Ares and Hephaestus of the Greeks represent the same force
So the spirit called Ogun isn't just Yorubaland but the entire known universe.

Just as we know Yahweh as Orisha Oke in Yoruba

Ogun was not in existence when all the biblical events took place and so, Yahweh could not have been in war with him. Satan had not manifested through him. Your post is a pure error.
Lol look at this man making a fool of himself.

Ogun is the force of Metal, Metallic elements existed long before humanity probably even before the earth

Your problem is lack of knowledge and I see how Muslim and Christians frown at knowledge every time.
You don't know what Ogun is and you don't want to learn

What interests me in your post is what I have responded to. I have been able to debunk the falsehood and errors, which you are inspired by satan to poison people's heart against their creator. You have been deceived to deceive. May God in His mercy restore you.
Wat falsehood and errorshuh

grin grin satan? The satan that doesn't exist or the satan that is your father Paul?

I would never go against my creator, it is actually impossible.
It is you who goes against your Ori by rejecting knowledge and a chance to grow in consciousness

Culture › Islam Is Arab Tribalism/nationalism by macof(op):
There is no such thing as Muslim Names,
or Islamic Names. Allah was promoted to
supreme being status by Muhammad Ibn
Abdullah. Allah was initially just another
deity belonging to the Quraysh clan of
Muhammad's father, whose name was
Abdullah. Muhammad's name existed as
Muhammad centuries before Islam. Bilal,
Kabir, Anas and all other names associated
with Islam predated the Islamic faith, so
they are Arab names.
The name Muhammad is no more Islamic
than bearing Dele or Niyi. If you adopt these
middel-eastern names, they don't move you
closer to some upstart Allah, they just
further demonstrate your subservience to
Arab culture and history.

There is no such thing as Islamic garb or
dress. The clothing associated with Islam
are nothing more than the clothing of the
Bedouin Culture. They wore such garments
to allow them better navigate the desert
environment where they lived. These were
nomadic peoples who traveled a harsh land
that required them covering their heads,
wearing long flowing fabrics that allowed
some cooling air to flow, protecting them
from the hot sun at the same time. But now,
we got black muslims dressing like desert
Bedouins in such clemency of the thick
forested clime of urbane Yorubaland! How
ridiculous! We now have Black women
covering their heads and faces like it's some
homage to an upstart supreme being when
it is actually nothing more than mimicking
of women who lived on top of shifting
sands, who covered their heads and faces
(leaving a slit for sight) to block out the
intense desert sun, blowing sands and dirt.

EnlightenedSoul: Yep, religious people all over the world live their lives as dictated by their particular religion.

Niqab is the face veil.

Hijab/"Headscarf": Scarf wrapped around face.
[img]http://thehijablog.files./2013/04/dsc05278.jpg[/img]

Jilbab: A really longgg hijab.

Niqab: Face veil

Most Muslim women wear the hijab.
In other words Religion is sometimes a tool for putting people in bondage...if you can describe the discomfort of niqab on some women as "bondage"
Bare in mind the Africa climate is not friendly to such dress code
Many of these women develop nasty rashes
Christianity Etc › Re: Yahweh Cannot Defeat Ogun by macof(op):
truthman2012: God covenanted with the children of Israel to deliver the land of Canan to them but not without wars.

Judges 1:32-33 you quoted clearly make us to know that the Israelites failed to drive away the inhabitant of Accho, Zidon and many others. They only refused to completely obey God's instruction and not because they were incapable of driving them out. God was displeased with their disobedience as can be seen:

''And an angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochum and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers and I said I will never break my covenant with you. And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of the land, ye shall throw down their altars BUT YE HAVE NOT OBEYED MY VOICE: why have ye done this?'' (Judges 2:1-2).

As you can see from the above, it was the Israelites who disobeyed God by not driving away those people AND NOT THAT YAHWEY WAS INCAPABLE OF DRIVING THEM. There was the Israelites' responsibilities and their was God's.

God therefore made the people they spared to become a snare to them as punishment for their sin (Judges 2:3).
Pls address all of my posts.
1. Show us where Yahweh drove out inhabitants of the plains
2. is Judges 1:19 an error from the holy spirit??

So we can move forward, it's all on you now to defend the Christian claims

Sango the so-called god of Iron was a human being who got possessed of the devil. His mother came from Tapa land and married a man from Oyo town. He was born like any other human beings. How can you compare him to God?
You too can attain his spiritual height if you can dedicate yourself to satan as much as he did and become a god to the deceived.
Smh.
you are only ignorant, it's more than clear as you don't know difference between Ogun and Sango yet you come.talking about who Sango is as if you know anything about that Name and what it represents

@bold. You are a hypocrite. Your Lord and master Jesus was born a man like every other man and you compare him to God...no! No! You call him God

Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]

Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition,

knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being’s perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature’s senses or mind and, hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity!

Have a nice day mr. macof
Can you prove these words in bold are true? these right now serve a good example of utterance of a drunk man

I take God there as Allah. Cus there are many Gods.
If you can't ascribe Allah or give a definition it means he is unknown and therefore unexplainable
Therefore how can this writer explain what has refused to show itself to be known??

Ur Allah created out of nothing by word of mouth right?? Like a super Man with magic
So Allah exists somewhere having a single body that can only occupy one space at a time like every other Man, super(like Allah) or otherwise
Pls prove this to us by directing us to Allah's abode or pray to him to visit earth and show himself in body and maybe flesh grin grin

lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! [u]
You see this part got me laughing grin grin still laughing

You think spirits work like men.
You think the nature of Ogun Lakaye Osinmole is like The false representation of Yahweh in many parts of the Bible
where Yahweh is jealous, angry, happy and sharing other emotions like a Man
Where Yahweh marries Israel and divorces the people like a Man

Deities would never fight one another, they work together as pieces of a whole

Ogun won't go to Sango and say "I want go draw lightning and thunder like you"
Ogun can't destroy Sango, they fed themselves, one can't survive without the other.

I've tried hijab. It's not so uncomfortable, but it can be really annoying for someone who isn't used to wearing it. It pretty much becomes like a second skin with continuous wear.

The niqab, however, is unbearable IMO. I tried that too. I wore it in Cairo, and besides it being unbearably uncomfortable, I quickly found out that it's considered a LovePeddler's uniform over there. You can imagine my shock.

Rilwayne001: And am telling you polytheistic belief is bogus for all the gods in such belief have a limited power on the affairs of the world.

As far as Allah (swt) is concerned is power is unlimited.
Allah has a limited power, no matter how power a spirit is it must leave space for that which isn't it's jurisdiction.
Allah cannot create blood cells, Allah doesn't live or bath in blood like Ogun
Allah doesn't build the bones, it is Ogun that made human bones into Oku(Hard) and Obi(soft) referring to Male and Female bone structure.
Okunrin - Oku-ni-Irin - male body system
Obinrin - Obi-ni-Irin - female body system

Anybody with little knowledge of Yoruba language knows "Irin" is any metallic element particularly the heavy metals like Iron, Zinc etc

Who is this creator force? Who created the creator force?
Is he Complete and Capable to do all things?
The creator force is simply that "The creator force". The force of creation which holds all consciousness (existence is a result of consciousness, growing in consciousness is infact the reason for our human existence)

Creation here doesn't refer to
"let there be light" by word of mouth and light appeared out of nothing like some magic trick.
Rather light and everything else from Wind to Oceans, planets to stars are all manifestations of Gods, that together make up that Force

Creation is simply a division/bisection of consciousness
The creator has done it's job, while It's other numerous forms are doing theirs

I already explained a single deity no matter the deity even the true nature of Allah as in the days of old in Arabia is only a piece in the whole

This your Olodumare, is he Unique as a whole without the help of Ogun and Co.?
There's no such thing as this.

Olodumare is the whole, ogun isn't a helper but a part of the whole

Is Olodumare complete without Ogun? if No, then Olodumare is not a Whole himself.

truthman2012: You know nothing about the bible. It is not enough to pick a verse from the bible in isolation. You need a complete study of the chapter and even the preceding chapter. There may also be the need to study other Books for clear understanding.

''I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the multiply agains thee. BY LITTLE and LITTLE I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased and inherit the land'' (Exodus 23:29-30).

God had earlier told Moses He was not going to drive the people away before them AT ONCE for the reasons He gave them. The reporter in the Book of Judges ERRONEOUSLY thought they could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley because they had chariot of Iron.

The whole people were completely driven out according to God's plan.
I know more about the Bible than you think, once devoted my life to that

here's another verse proving Yahweh is only strong on hills and mountain

Joshua 13:6 all inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth-maim and all Sidonia will I drive out..“
Show us where in the old testament did Yahweh drive out any of the inhabitants of the plains

Here's Judges 1:32-33
Asher dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land for they didn't drive them out. Neither did Naphtali drive out the Canaanites of Beth-shemesh and Beth-anath, rather they left them as tributary states

Here we can see Each verse talks about a battle between one tribe of Israel and a tribe from the canaanites, each failure to drive the canaanites out was given a reason.
Verse 19 gave it's reason in clear words BECAUSE THEY HAD CHARIOTS OF IRON
Indicating how more advanced they were in technology by the grace of Ogun

I don't know wat u mean by the bold but are you trying to say Judges 1;19 isn't given by the inspiration of the holy spirit or the holy spirit erroneously reported thathuh

EnlightenedSoul: You're both right.
There comes a point where the pervasion of religion in a society impedes it's development. The more strictly religion is adhered to, the less room it leaves for innovation and acceptance of scientific or outside teachings, or even the practice of the local cultural tradition! The so-called 'regression' to religious clothing in the above Cairo University pictures is not outright proof of religion impeding science, but I personally think it somewhat supports that trend.

Throughout the few years I spent there (Egypt), I can honestly say that I noticed a marked difference in atmosphere as my time there progressed. One of things I vividly remember is the distribution of strongly opinionated religious pamphlets on different aspects of the religion, with headlines like: Women stop your sinning, the Niqab(face veil) is ordained by God!, Stay in your homes!, religious education is the pinnacle of success! etc (and this in what is believed to be the most moderate Arab country). Then came the revolution wherein politicized religion played it's obvious role.

See here how the Muslim Brotherhood started out as rather benign group, and how it transformed into an extremist group: https://www.mtholyoke.edu/~orr20l/classweb/worldpolitics116/pages/chronology.html

It's the reason I believe in secularism, and dislike religion mixed in with my politics. Politics is dirty enough, no?

Education aside, 30 years prior, a Somali woman could dress like this with no qualms in our sister country:

https://www.qaranimo.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Zamzam-Duale-and-models.jpg

Or this:

https://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_maea96EnTq1r34z06o1_400.jpg

Now this is the order of the day:

[img]http://4.bp..com/-9nQDUdWmm7w/TqLOa5z8xMI/AAAAAAAABRA/Y_9v8opfCAI/s400/Somali_girl.jpg[/img]

That last gal may be holding a biology textbook, but where is the society in terms of advancement? Sprinting backwards.

It's strange how you can almost measure a society's "religious takeover" by the way it changes it's tone of dress and shifts from its adherence to the natural local culture there. And I don't even mean to say that hijab is bad per se, but when dressing like an Arab Wahhabi starts becoming the only accepted form of dress, you should well know that the more extreme 'religious' elements are up and coming.

My take.

You know what's funny? I have to pay special attention to how I'm dressed around folks from Somalia. It isn't so with people from Djibouti.
What exactly makes women feel the need to put the hijab?
Upon all the discomfort and health risks
Or it's just about the whole "An Order from Allah" theme??

ProphetUdeme: oh Father Lord of heavens and the earth. These have not known Thee but i have known Thee as Thou hast known me and loved me before the foundations of the world... I pray with ur lovingkindness and mercies sake that u grant these people light so that they may not perish forever because ure a God of consuming fire... Forgive them and grant the salvation thru the Lord Jesus Christ the Lord of all. (udeme is weeping profusely).....

Folykaze and ur colleagues. I really pity ur end, unless something divine happens, mark me and my words this day that u will curse the day that u were born
Thank you for your prayers and your tears but they are not needed.

I advice you learn about the spirituality of your ancestors
You are Ibibio? Am I right?

lepasharon: A spirit for everything, what do u mean? I knw there are different gods out there I just choose not to acknowledge them
spirit is simply a deeper way of viewing what science calls energy.
Spirituality has had thousands of years above modern science.
There's much more you don't expect hidden in ancient spiritualities

Do u believe.multiple spirits exist taking over certain aspects of universal existence?

Rilwayne001: Why are you blabbing now? i asked you to prove with facts and observation all the orisha mereerindilogun.

Who created them?

Anyway lets save that for another day, i dont want to derail your thread.

Should i help you call some xtians brothers?
I asked u to take your Allah to another thread.
You can create a thread

Then I asked u to say wat u know about the nature of ogun. U can't expect to acknowledge the existence of what you have absolutely no knowledge of
Thing is you want to be ignorant, because ur fictional Allah begs that of u.

JMAN05: Christianity encourages Divine Education. Even if you want to keep studying till you die, thats very fine. If the issue is about secular education that has no bearing on the scriptures, it means little to God. Granted, When secular education is meant to teach you how to read, write and speak. That's fine. But there should be moderation.

In the scriptures only few had to venture into secular education, though they did so cos they had no choice I think. Of course, they never allowed those things to be their preoccupation, rather Divine Education did.

Christians as temporal residents, do not pursue worldly knowledge as if it is what they are here for. As if it is the way to the solution mankind needs.
So basically you saying
"study as long as it doesn't interfere with Bible study"
Am I right?

1ord: And that is a good thing. Western or not .I would rather live in a western styled house than in the forest in a mud hut like my ancestors? This is the way forward. Western styled education or whatever is just education it is global people should get with the script.
and the West u see today also had hut houses

Education isn't western. personally I have realized African education is more into nature and truth than western style education...many things u learn in school today are to drive a propaganda
