Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do They Regard Catholics As Idol Worshippers by macof(m): 9:07am On Nov 01, 2013
vickyO: Catholics are just so tough to convince, they believe their mode of worship is impeccable which is not. I believe they're operating on a faulty doctrinal foundation. When Jesus taught the disciples how to pray, He never mentioned Mary or the prophets or the saints. no where under the new covenant are we asked to use aids or carve images or worship dead creatures. Given the example of Joshua, that was in the OT, the old covenant, you better drop it an embrace the new cause they are totally different. you cant pour new wine into an old wine skin and vice versa, the result you all know. Some say the rosary causes miracles to happen, I had a friend who said, "you don't know how many times the rosary has saved me", such heretical belief causes me to wonder. they also claim Mary helps deliver their messages to Jesus, deceit at its peak. and when pastors pray for us, they intercede which is fully backed by the Bible. And the images they make is just out of it, what then makes Christians different from idolatrous heathens?
If you read the history of the catholic church and the Roman religion before christianity you would understand why catholics are like this.

You should also know that The Romans formed Christianity. Catholism might not be the true christianity (in my opinion JW are closer to Christian doctrines than others) but they made christianity wat it is today. When you talk christianity you talk catholism.

The pentecostal churches were revived just recently but pentecostal churches aren't true christianity either, they practice judaism in the mix.

The whole idea of modern christianity was created by Romans when they saw how the disciples of Jesus worshipped him as their Messiah.
The Romans killed all the people that knew the truth about Jesus and formed a new kind of christianity, edited the Bible and killed those who didn't believe them.

Catholism is a modified version of Mithraism.
But recently, when the catholic church began to loose power, many Christians began to make other kinds of christianity according to their understanding of the Bible.

The problem is that the early Christian fathers didn't edit the Bible properly, their lies is catching up with them.

How hypocritical of Catholics to be involved in idolatry when they demonized ATR for idolatry.

Arcsniper: What if during the incarnation 'process'(i guess u understand wat i meant)
*1.ur body on earth was destroyed.
Where is that spirit goin to?

*2.after you have complete ur mission on earth, and died at the appropriate time, will you ever come back to earth?

Pleas answer those questions b4 i go and sleep
1. Once the body is destroyed you die and go back to heaven, re-do the reincarnation process.

2. In most cases(if not all) yes!.
Christianity Etc › Re: Amazing Accounts Of Near-death Experiences by macof(m): 7:55am On Nov 01, 2013
wonderlander: @Arcsniper we should not worry about reincarnation.our mission is to better ourselves to be fit for heaven
although God is love and he loves even adolf hitler dearly, but if adolf hitler rejects God by doing evil against God's will, when he dies his transcendence into the after life will be different than seeing any light.basically you will reap what you lived in this life which is rejection of God.
God can rescue you from hell if you call out to him genuinely,i guarantee you would.God wants us in his kingdom he doesn't want anyone to go hell,it hurts him when humans keep hurting one another and doing evil. God loves us all even Adolf Hitler.we are one,if i kill you i kill myself,if i love you i love myself.I forgive Adolf Hitler he was just ignorant but if he does not regret his wrong doing then he is not aligned with my forgiveness.
most humans are good or at least mediumly satisfactory.thats why majority of NDE is the LIGHT.God knows we cant be perfect in this world,he only cares about how much you atleast try.God loves everyone dearly and even when you go astray he has a way of bringing you back.first he will make you experience what its like without his love (HELL,DARKNESS) but you will call on him and he'll save you.
If Your physical body is destroyed then you can be sent back to start as a baby, like i said previously its left for God to decide whats best for you.do not worry about anything.if tommorow is your death day there'll be nothing you can do about it.just trust in the lord and try to do his will.its hard but its all about trying.if you cant help someone atleast dont hurt them.

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is African Traditional Religion Seen As Demonic? by macof(m): 7:45am On Nov 01, 2013
MamiWata: Paganism has absolutely nothing to do with Africa being "left behind." Pagan beliefs are a part of Abrahamic religions as well (Christmas, the story of Jesus, etc.). No group of people has completely disregarded their ancestors the way you'd like Africans to disregard ours. Muslims need to wake up to the idea of women being full human beings before you start worrying about the harm that paganism is doing to Africa. Muslim societies consistently rank at the bottom of all indices with regard to women's well-being. You will never succeed when you undervalue 50% of your population. Islam is 100% compatible with women's continued voicelessness which is why it thrives in countries that treat women like grass to be stepped on and mowed. Many pagan spiritualities, however, value balance. Women's voices and power is part of that balance. And that is just one of the many ways that our ways are healthier than yours. Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Niger, and Somalia are awful places where the world can see what happens when Islam is at work. By the way did they ever pass that Nigerian law to allow your filthy men to marry 9 year old girls?
No they didn't.
Muslims in this country especially the ones in the north are too brainwashed into this Islam, that's why they are the least developed part of Nigeria. That's wat happens when you let a book think for you.

alnaijiri: On a per-capita basis, the scientific output of India is minimal. But even if there are the occasional bright spots from the Hindus, their society is unfit for human life; poverty in India outpaces that of Africa, cruelty and injustice abounds in that pagan eyesore.

For centuries now, the so-called "Muslim World" has abandoned the proper scholarship of Islamic jurisprudence. That's why I'm calling for a renaissance for Islam. The ones that are calling for terrorism in the name of jihad are not properly educated according to the thousand-year tradition of Islamic scholarship and decision-making. Back when Islam was properly applied (Golden Age of Islam), the Islamic Nation led the world in scientific, economic, and social innovations.

Africans are for the most part pagans, even those who say they're Xian or Muslims. Dependence on magic and superstition as well as a complete disregard for reasoning and scholarship are what paganism has been about, and those things are still what African Xianity or Islam is about today. African religion is African paganism with different names for the deities. At least for the most part Westerners aren't pagans in this sense of the word. They may be shamelessly hedonists, but they're not overly superstitious and do take initiative (effective ones, not juju) to make changes to better their lot.

Paganism is the part of the African mentality that has been keeping us behind as a continent. The light of Islam is needed here, nothing else can shine the light so we can stop groping in the dark.
Mental fool.

Islam is evil.

Arcsniper: Satan is not lucifer?? huh
Yes. Reasons:
1. Isaiah 14:12 was the Bible verse that used that word. "Lucifer" is a Latin word meaning-morning star, Do u think a Jewish man who only knew Hebrew and probably Aramaic could have used a Latin word? All translation errors
2. The Jews don't have the same view of satan
3. I have gone through the whole chapter of Isaiah 14, "Lucifer" there was referring to a Babylonian king who wanted to be so Great that he would make his kingdom above the sky
4. No where else in the Bible supports the claim that satan is Lucifer.
5. Technically Jesus can also be called "Lucifer". Revelations 22:16. Jesus is referred to as "bright morning star"

Joshthefirst: christians are accountable for their actions to God, just like everyone(including you) is. Everyone will give account to God.
Anyone who blames satan for his sin is foolish. Man is a free moral agent.

Take a judge for example, if you're found guilty of commiting a crime, say stealing, will you say to the judge(let's call him stevens)
"Come on judge stevens, I just washed your car"
Or
"Come on judge stevens, I just built you a house" ?

No, that will be bribe, and a good judge will not be bribed and will ebven punish you more for insulting his integrity.

God is a good judge, he cannopt be bribed. You cannot pay for your evil deeds with good deeds. That would be trying to bribe God. Self-righteousness is like a filthy rag before him.
Pls feed this story to the birds

How about those secrets cults, those old winchy, winchy woman, CHURCH OF SATAN??
Lol church of satan? I don't know much About that.
However, the Jews originally view satan as a member of the council in heaven, A servant to Yahweh. Unlike christianity that calls satan the bringer of evil, the rebellious angel, the king of demons etc. in judaism satan is less evil and has a lot of importance in human lives. So if some folks that this Jewish doctrine to form a separate religion it's nt that bad, cause christianity was formed in such bases too

Christianity Etc › Re: Amazing Accounts Of Near-death Experiences by macof(m): 12:37am On Nov 01, 2013
bigfrancis21:

It is because of attitudes like these and people that paraded reasoning such as this that made the early church fathers to delete the theory of reincarnation from the church's teachings and edit out all references of reincarnation from the bible.

They discovered that preaching the theology of coming back to earth after a current life time to correct one's wrong made people to be lazy about life and not take it serious. People started feeling that they'd do all manner of things they wanted since they'd still come back again. 'Let us then use this lifetime to do as we want, live life to the fullest of the pleasures of the body, when we come back again we'll live right'. Many people started to not take life seriously as an opportunity for spiritual evolution, soul growth and escaping the cycle of death and rebirth. The church fathers found it convenient to delete all sources of reincarnation and propagate the 'theory' of a one-time-only life time and the promise of a 'hell fire' for those who live 'wrong', thus instilling fear in the minds of the populace and making them to take life seriously.

That hell fire doesn't exist doesn't give you free reins to do as you like. The law of karma is very active and ensures that the universal law of justice is kept and carried out. The excessive wrongs you accumulate in this lifetime, you will pay for all of them in the next lifetime or in many lifetimes depending on the magnitude of your wrongdoings. Injustice must be paid for. Have you ever wondered why certain people are born with pitiable unimaginable deformities from birth? Or why certain people suffer from incurable diseases for their whole life time or a great part of it? You are only human and blinded for you only see the current life form. You don't know the soul history of that soul and what prompted his incarnation into a body of deformity. For many cases, it is a way of balancing off of wrongdoings done in the past.

However, it is not all physically disabled persons that are paying off karma. In some many situations and from the soul level, being born into a body of physical difficulties always proves to be a good opportunity to learn certain life lessons. Life lessons such as humility, detachment from worldly things, compassion, etc - life lessons that some souls would find very difficult to learn if they keep incarnating into bodies of easy lifetimes. On the other side and in our soul existence, easy lifetimes on earth are looked down and 'difficult' ones are preferred because they help to focus the inhabiting soul on the important things and lessons of life, which when given easy lifetimes we forget to realize and learn and get carried away instead by the lures and vanities of life. Such 'difficult' lifetimes helps to hasten sould growth and ensure fast graduation from the cycle of death and rebirth.
God bless you

Another terrible conclusion. Yes God knows those who are his, he knows those who will actually finally end up in hell becvause of unrepentance, but he shows his love by patience and faithful chances he gives each person to repent, otherwise he is not a just God.

Joshthefirst: all humans are imperfect and all humans must pay for their imperfection and sins. The very fact that you have a conscience and morals shows that there is an absolute moral law and an absolute moral lawgiver and God.
No one is righteous. Christians have seen that their sins have made them guilty before this lawgiver, and they have embraced the way of escape: Jesus Christ.
Through Jesus, we have become the righteousness of God in Christ.

2 corinthians 5: 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Christians are never accountable for their actions.

They blame satan for making them sin
And pray to Jesus to talk away the sin

We pagans are very accountable for our actions
When we go against our conscience, we seek for a way to prevent that deed from affecting our Ori, usually by doing a Great good
