Alfa Seltzer: Leviticus 25:44-46

44 “‘Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. 45 You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. 46 You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.

I received prove b4 I bliv'd in Jesus.

Besides..dis oduduwa's story looks lyk a re-creation of the story of Jesus smhw..in an African way
Jesus looks like a re-creation of the story of Mithra...in a Jewish way

In fact wat u Christians don't knw is dat u honor Mithra more than yeshua

FOLYKAZE: Oga logic.

A cookie in the US is called a biscuit in the UK.
A biscuit in the US is a scone or small cake in the UK. I dont know what scone is as it not use in Nigeria. Go to any store in Agege and tell them you want scone or cookies.

Crisps in the UK, are known as chips, but in the UK we eat a plate of chips that you call fries.

My friend in US doesn't understand 'how far' when I greeted her. She was like....what are we measuring? If you dont relate with US wordings....most of their words will get you pissed off but to them, it normal thang.

Still wondering when you will translate 'eku-ile' in yoruba to english.
Eku-ile na hard thing to translate o

If the Bible was original written in Yoruba, I wonder how they wud have translated eku-ile. they wud probably leave it like dat grin

Divepen: Thaz right even though the evil started somwhr
Good and evil is the will of God, it's a natural balance which is the highest law of the universe. One cannot exist without the other.

even Ifa advises us to keep a balance

Otherwise why do u think God allows evil? Abeg u Christians should stop blaming satan

Alfa Seltzer: We should move to item 3 as it does not need conclusion of item 2 to proceed. We previously gave 24 hrs for voting and we should respect it on this one. So Pagan has till 5pm tomorrow to vote. However, next voting periods should be limited to 6 hrs, and counted. In case of a tie like today, the time will be extended to 12 hrs to allow the deciding vote to be counted. If after 12 hrs, the deciding vote has not been cast, we ask stricktlymi to cast the vote.

Ok guys?

Every religion of the world especially paganic religions do not Change because it is your own version/story of the world as it relates to you.

The Jews wrote the Bible not because it is true but because it relates with them, and that is how they want neighbors to see them.

The Greeks have their history books which is based on everything Greek, mostly written by Homer. I have realized some things were written as it relates to them, and how they want their neighbors to see them

Yoruba have oral traditions and Odu-Ifa, it is the story of the world as it relates wit the Yoruba.

These Beliefs aren't lies, but nothing is to prove their truth.

The Romans who translated the Bible to Greek, did as it wud be to their taste.

The latinos did as they knew little about Greek

The English, which I suspect to have made numerous errors then copied from Latin, which probably made mistakes with their own translation from Greek.

some mistakes in the English Bible might not have been the English doing but the greeks.

there as been a lot of controversy with "Lucifer" a Latin word meaning morning star. Isaiah used that statement in the original Hebrew Bible as wat ever "morning star" means in Hebrew, the greeks copied and then the latinos copied, but the English thought "morning star" or lucifer in Latin was a persons name, so they gave birth to the idea of Lucifer being the name of the devil.

I wonder how can the devil/satan, which is a Jewish character have a Latin name. How can Isaiah who could only speak Hebrew, have known the Latin word "lucifer" and used it in a statement.
(I won't get started on how the "bright morning star" which Isaiah used in 14:12 is referring to not satan but a Babylonian king)

Jesus real name wasn't Jesus, but was a typical Hebrew name pronounced "Yeshua" -Jesus doesn't mean anything in any language, but Yeshua means "to save" which could be interpreted as "savior" in Hebrew. Joshua also bared the same name "Yeshua" but more accurately "Yehoshua".

So many errors have been made due to this translations and some sort of deliberate edifying as occurred

Why only Bible, the quran is still intact, the tanahk and Torah is still intact and all pagan religions are still intact.

The beautiful thing is that the Old testament aka tanakh can be back up by the Jews but the New testament has no prove of genuineness, the Jews debunk it

Ayomivic: which part of yoruba land you came from. Sorry for you. May be you are an ajebutter because what you and op said here about Esu and Aje was wrong. Let me ask you these questions. Can you tell me the source of yoruba power, the magics and incantations?

Do yot know why they hail Esu as Onile orita, obelekun sunkun, Elekun sunkun Laroye suneje?

who did yoruba attributes evil to? Was it not Esu? How is it different to Chrstian Satan?

Aje (witch) and Aje (what trade will brings) are thesame word but different pronounciation and different meaning.
First am ekiti,

And am nt wrong about Eshu, pls unless u are a Yoruba pagan I can't take your concept of Eshu seriously

I have never seen Aje being referred to as anything other than the Orisha of trade.

Unless in Yoruba movies where they call witch Aje, but these same movies call Eshu Satan, so I can't really take them seriously

Saturday is most likely to be Igbo since the other one is Igbo, the two most be d same. no normal Yoruba man would name his son "Saturday"

Best Overall Poster of the Year

Best Religious Poster of the year

Best Non-Religious Poster of the Year.

If we want a 'funniest poster', we will go to the jokes section.

If a non-religious poster is voted the overall best poster, then it is the people's choice, not ours.

Radoillo: OK. Romans ruled Southern and Western Europe, the Northern strip of Africa, and Western Asia. I dont know what the population was like in those days, but I don't think the above-mentioned regions ever had 70% of the world's population. Romans didn't rule North-central Europe; they didn't rule sub-saharan Africa; they didn't rule Greater Asia (which has always been a greatly-populated region). And they didnt even know of the vast American continents.
Roman records stated to have conquered that much because they didn't move as far as Central Africa and America but everywhere they knew of fell as their colony.

Besides most of the central and western African nations seem to have origin from Northern Africa.

Good thing you are here, I am really learning from you

Radoillo: .... for example, the city of Troy (which was somewhere in Turkey) was not a Greek city; yet in Greek legends, it was presented as a typical Greek city with the Greek god Apollo as the special protector of the city.
So you mean the greeks conspired and deliberately made cities like Troy and Crete appear Greek

Radoillo: When you say the Romans ruled 70% of the world, do you mean 70% of the world's population, or 70% of the world's landmass?
population. They practically conquered everyone they met
Culture › Re: The Greeks And The Romans by macof(op): 7:18pm On Oct 16, 2013
Radoillo: Actually, it is known that the Greeks arrived Greece as barbarian invaders from the North. They came as three closely related tribes - Achaeans, Dorians and Ionians. They settled down in Greece, imitated the higher cultures of Crete, Phoenicia and Egypt; and eventually developed their own civilization.
Is crete not Greek? Is it not Crete of Mineus, that worshipped poseidon?

This two Great group of people have achieved more than any other. Rome once ruled about 70% of the world.

The Greeks are by far the most influential people of all time, most.western languages and world concepts were formed from the greeks, they have had the greatest civilization and the worlds greatest philosophers are greeks.

The Romans and Greeks have surely been the most successful group of people the world has known.

Their paganic religions are very similar that one can call it the same though the names of their deities differ.

The Romans wrote in Greek and understood pure Greek language perfectly.
I sometimes wonder if they are of the same origin.

The Romans believe to have been founded by Romulus and Remus who happen to be the twin sons of The god of war Mars

This god of war, Mars fits every description of the Greek god of war Ares. And that should be right to say ancient Rome and Greece are the brother nations.

The greeks are definitely older than the Romans and it's possible for the Romans to have Greek origin.

However there's no record or any claim of any Origin for Greece, their religion doesn't start much about that either.

But does this mean the greeks were formed in that location as there is no prove of them migrating from any distant land.

The fall of Such powers as Greece and Rome is a shock

So what happened to them? How did they fall?
