Forever. Being a virgin or choosing to remain celibate is a choice. Its when its no longer a choice that you can begin to question one's in sanity. hahahahaha. Funnny poster. |
@abdurrazaq Na tru u talk. Experiences differ. Especially for those who are abroad and don't have legal work papers. |
@ Kobojunkie such a trouble maker. |
churches will soon follow suit if people notice its successful.Definitely, Church WILL follow suit if its sucessful. They're corporations anyways and will need to make more profit in addition, to tithes members already pay. |
I often go to Foursquare, Redeem but they're nothing more that Social institutions to me. They also provide me with inspirational words when needed. Church is nothing more than that. I don't follow any pastor around, nor do I wait for a pastor to provide me with lifetime directions or tell me what to do. |
I am PROUDLY NOT RELIGIOUS. ![]() |
why we should attack people's belief in God instead of going after the man for his actions and words? What the heck has that to do with dealing with Nigeria’s problem?I'm telling you that I'm not attacking anyone's beliefs but I am attacking religious institutions that EXPLOIT the thought process of the masses. |
All they can do is speak. But believe it or not, Religion has a lot to do with the backwardness of the country and the lack of accountability. |
LOL ![]() |
How many of the developed countries in the world have banned religion? How many people in positions of power in developing and developed countries are religious? Chavez is a very vocal politician. He doesn't say "I have to wait for God to tell me how to talk to Bush or negotiate oil contracts" He acts. Nigerian masses are expected to talk to a pastor or wait for answers to thier prayers before they act upon a situation. |
why we should attack people's belief in God instead of going after the man for his actions and words?Religion has got nothing to do with the belief in faith/God/Muhammed. I am NOT religious but I believe in the existence of a higher being. Religion is organized. It has been a powerful tool of oppression and suppression for years and many more years to come. People in Nigeria don't go after men because Pastors preach obey your leaders. Respect your leaders. God will intervene on your behalf, God fight for you. God will this and that, |
Uju, make you tell am jare. |
Believe it or not, religion has a lot to do with the backwardness of the country and the lack of accountability. Look at Obasanjo, telling us to leave our electricity problems to God. |
Kobojunkie: you have started again oh. tell me what you don't understand. Im quite certain i'm entitled to my opinion. |
Hypothetically speaking: A popular pastor can get up and say "God told me that Obasanjo should become president again" Nigerians will take this statement as fact and will support obasanjo and do everything in their power to make sure that he gets into power again. This is how stupid Nigerians are. When logic (common sense) is there, stupidity has no place. |
@ Ujujoan I totally agree with you. Fight for our rights like African Americans did in the 1960s, Fight for our rights like the South Africans did recently, Fight for what rightly belongs to us like MEND militants in the North. ![]() Nigeria needs the IRON HAND. We need to BURN men like Obasanjo. We need to make examples of pigs and fraudulent monsters. |
Of all the things to talk about. SUCH NONSENSE!!! |
I don't know about banning politics but removing the discussion of religion from Politics. Just because a politician gives a G.O. or Pastor FREE STOLEN LAND, doesn't mean that church members have to vote for this person. (Not that voting exists in Nigerian anyways BUT still ) Banning religion from Nigeria would allow people to THINK LOGICALLY and I think that until then will people begin to hold thier government official RESPONSIBLE. |
How to stop Nigeria corruption:I concur!!!!!!! |
1) Nigeria should CHANGE her name and reject the symbol of being a colony 2) BAN Religion 3) Continous leadership classes and workshops for leaders 4) Instill PRIDE/nationalism 5) Create tangible and useful policies and measurements that are acheiveable 6) Remove all OLD heads in positions of power 7) Make sure that the cycle of corruption does not continue with the next generation. |
There is still hope for Nigeria. [/b] First step is to BAN RELIGION. |
Someone should tell Jonathan Badluck that when all his friends in politics start giving back all the money they have stolen from the masses, maybe half of Nigerians won't be poor. What a slowpoke. ![]() |
I can't shout!! Such jagbajantis!! ![]() Tell this pastor to tell God that Obasanjo's punishment is taking tooo loong. ![]() |
MARRIAGE IS A MATTER OF CHOICE. |
OBASANJO RAPED Nigeria. and NO ONE is doing SH#@$T about it. ![]() |
They should leave the man alone, what happened to thieves like Obasanjo and the likes of them, why are they chasing people trying to make thier own "bread and butter" abeg jare. |
I like Huxley. |
I like Huxley's thought process. He acknowledges that Nigerians don't think, not just critically, but at all when it comes to issues of religion. Leaving many gullible and without sense when making decisions. Religion is a tool of oppression. God on the other hand, I believe, is as Real as Real gets. I strongly believe in the existence of a higher power which has nothing to do with the Religion. I don't fall for HUGE CORPORATIONS WHO CALL THEMSELVES "CHURCHES." Religion is another social institution used to oppress and suppress people to make them dependent on so called self appointed leaders who only seek to make a profit for thier personal benefit and gain. |
You mentioned she's intimidating, is there anything she can do to clean up that image, it could help her a lot.I think that her knowlegde intimidates men, I don't know but thats what I think. She's very smart. |
Tell her to relax and be patient, it will come when the time is right. Its hard to tell her to relax when her other mates are getting married or are engaged, I don't know what to do. |
Why not have a long mind, body and soul discussion with her.'What kind of discussion is this ? ![]() |
Recently, I got a phone call from one of my close girlfriends crying, I asked her whaat was wrong, and her comment went as follows: Me, I am 24 years old. I've never had a real boyfriend and If I don't find someone THAT I really LIKE by 25, I'm going to turn gay. I didn't know what else to say. I said how will you tell ur parents (Nigerian for that matter) I've tried hooking her up with some guyz but things haven't worked out and I don't know what else to say. In fact, recently, I hooked her up with a diplomats son, she said she doesn't like him that he has body odour, I don't want her to turn gay just because she can't find a man. I know that she's a smart and may somehow intimidate men with her knowledge, Anyways sha, NL any advice or comments?? |
