hstar: Much respects, man. I'm flattered. Truth is, I'm a writer/illustrator. And, I'm not based in Nigeria. Time zone difference and work hours affect me. And you know it, this forum is now filled with Gen Z minds mostly. Can't stand some threads... 2 Likes |

Obi is the best person to lead Nigeria but, power must be obtained in the Nigerian way as the last election has shown. If he has no interest to install the necessary machineries that will help actualize that dream in the next election, he should forget it. Don't waste anybody's time. |

If someone prefers her own company, know she or he must have learned something bitter about the human companionship. It tells a lot about wisdom and self knowledge. I respect people who spend much of their time alone in quiet introspection and reflection. 3 Likes |

Very fake and cheap girl. Was she not the one jostling after that dirty boy with Empress Njamah couple of months back? Na fools go pay attention to her. This kind of women are not meant for the home. |

Nigeria was doing very well till 1986 when this man took that IMF loan and charted Nigeria's downward trajectory from there. The Finance Minister then, Kalu Idika Kalu warned him but he wouldn't listen because he was Lord. The Naira has never recovered since then. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

What she did was bad. Thing is, the guy needs to find out why she did it. If the man is not meeting up in certain things, even if he finds another woman, she will still cheat on him. It's not about forming God etc. It's a time for a deeper reflection over matters. |

LegacyB: Keep deceiving yourself. You want to tell me the majority of Nigerians voted for Tinubu in his old age to lead Nigeria? I don't mean to disrespect his age but, in the light of a younger, capable mind; they'd choose the former? Isn't it hilarious? |
Politics / Re: Profile of the Judges recommended for elevation to the Supreme Court (Pics) by madjune(m): 3:44pm On Dec 09, 2023 |
LegacyB: I'm not even an Obi man. I just don't support injustice. He never won? As if you didn't see what happened in PH? Wike hijacking Obi's votes and changing them? You could deny that. So many did. That posts a verdict on the Nigerian character itself. The problem isn't quite its leaders. From your tone. I could very well sense you are comfortable with the status quo. Enjoy it as you see am. |

LegacyB: People like you sugar coat the truth. Maybe your father is a legal luminary, much respects to him but, what's the function of the judiciary? When are they called to test? Do they really stand or function to the truest sense of their calling in Nigeria? The last election presented itself as the very best test for the judiciary to live up to it's name. What dis you see? Tell yourself the truth. Don't insult nobody. You won't gain nothing in so doing. |

Floky215: Most of you don't even fully understand or care to know the history of Israel's occupation of their land. Do you know how Israel came into existence on that land? I'm not anti Jewish but I care about the truth. It's like I ran into your house, chase you out of your bedroom, out of the dining room and push you into the kitchen, leaving you there to stay and taking over the rest. Then your children grows up and start fighting for a portion of the dining room with me and I call them terrorists. It's a wonder how a great many of you don't do proper research on history. 1 Like 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Nigeria Spends About N3 Billion To Send Govt Officials To COP28 by madjune(m): 1:26am On Dec 08, 2023 |
If they understand 1% of what the climate change concept is all about, they'd rather and best spend 80% of the monies they wasted on this trip on getting Lagos secure against the impact of flooding and heatwave which are fallouts of the climate consequence itself. They don't even understand nothing scientific that concerns the paradigm. 2 Likes |

Foolish govt. They would have made a case for Lagos state which stands to be submerged between the years 2040-50 due to climate change and its consequent sea level rise. Back home now, what measures are they going to put in place to make sure regions that are prone ro catastrophic impacts are protected? Your guess is as food as mine. 1 Like |

ValarDoharis: Most of you just don't read or follow the news in details. The Nigerian govt suddenly woke up to the COP conferences as soon as they heard that the developed countries are mandated to pay developing countries a whooping $100bn annually (Climate finance) for Climate adaptability purposes. Go and read it up. Our govt is running all around there now to make a good case for Nigeria and start having their share. The good question should be, what happens to these monies once they're paid? Your guess is as good as mine. |
