I don't know you
And you don't know me either

But there was a long time thread on nairaland that you commented on, I've forgot the topic, but you displayed a lot of class and wisdom

Of which you I had short conversation with you, though not with my current moniker

They way you responded and presented every word was top notch

Since then, I haven't forgotten your moniker (madjune), However, all of a sudden you just disappear from nairaland.

Seeing you again is why I recognized your presence.

Much respects, man.

I'm flattered. Truth is, I'm a writer/illustrator.

And, I'm not based in Nigeria.

Time zone difference and work hours affect me.

And you know it, this forum is now filled with Gen Z minds mostly. Can't stand some threads...

Politics / Re: Peter Obi Visits The Rehabilitation Center For Disabled Old And Tramp In Ozubulu by madjune(m): 6:07am On Jan 02
Obi is the best person to lead Nigeria but, power must be obtained in the Nigerian way as the last election has shown.

If he has no interest to install the necessary machineries that will help actualize that dream in the next election, he should forget it.

Don't waste anybody's time.

If someone prefers her own company, know she or he must have learned something bitter about the human companionship.

It tells a lot about wisdom and self knowledge.

I respect people who spend much of their time alone in quiet introspection and reflection.

Na fools go pay attention to her.

Nigeria was doing very well till 1986 when this man took that IMF loan and charted Nigeria's downward trajectory from there.

The Finance Minister then, Kalu Idika Kalu warned him but he wouldn't listen because he was Lord.

The Naira has never recovered since then.

What she did was bad.

Thing is, the guy needs to find out why she did it.
If the man is not meeting up in certain things, even if he finds another woman, she will still cheat on him.

It's not about forming God etc.

It's a time for a deeper reflection over matters.

Common! Abike Dabiri was a fine eloquent broadcaster back then. Dont let your political leanings distort the truth about her past.

It has little to do with eloquence.

Abike struggled with facts.
Her reports were mostly riddled with blunders.
Frank would be on air to correct her, as if it was a joke.

After superstory, 8 - 9pm, na this woman face we dey see for 9 - 10pm NTA news.

Remember those days of no smartphones, no social media.

Just left with local tv stations, DSTV (for the rich), and sega / playstation 1 / playstation 2.

Mehn, technology must be appreciated and those who have played major and minor roles in it.

P.S, Who remembers one NTA news broadcasting session where the 2 female broadcasters were so carried away with heavy laughter not knowing that the session was still on record? I think it was Abike Dabiri

It must be Abike.
Everyone wondered how she got such job in the first place.

Do you have clear evidence to this ? Or just the normal talk here and there. And even if you add PH to Obi’s vote will that make him win the election?

Keep deceiving yourself.

You want to tell me the majority of Nigerians voted for Tinubu in his old age to lead Nigeria?

I don't mean to disrespect his age but, in the light of a younger, capable mind; they'd choose the former?

Isn't it hilarious?

Let me ask you who follow politician blindly, do you think for a second that if your candidate even emerged tings would be better? Then think again, you’re are responsible for yourself at the of the day. As for the last election I strongly believe Obi never won. It’s a day dream and funny dream to claim he won. All the emperical figures are clear. That’s not even the argument because it’s not party versus party as you guys are making it. It’s actually the people against politicians.

I'm not even an Obi man. I just don't support injustice.
He never won? As if you didn't see what happened in PH?
Wike hijacking Obi's votes and changing them?
You could deny that. So many did.
That posts a verdict on the Nigerian character itself.
The problem isn't quite its leaders.
From your tone. I could very well sense you are comfortable with the status quo.
Enjoy it as you see am.

No your brain is sold! You guys even make criticism so difficult. Cos when sane people criticized properly they are seen in same group with you. Critics aren’t zombies who cannot reason for themselves. If your father was amongst these erudite scholars would you type this nonsense?

People like you sugar coat the truth.

Maybe your father is a legal luminary, much respects to him but, what's the function of the judiciary?

When are they called to test? Do they really stand or function to the truest sense of their calling in Nigeria?

The last election presented itself as the very best test for the judiciary to live up to it's name.

What dis you see? Tell yourself the truth.
Don't insult nobody. You won't gain nothing in so doing.

Do you know how Israel came into existence on that land?
I'm not anti Jewish but I care about the truth.

It's like I ran into your house, chase you out of your bedroom, out of the dining room and push you into the kitchen, leaving you there to stay and taking over the rest.
Then your children grows up and start fighting for a portion of the dining room with me and I call them terrorists.

It's a wonder how a great many of you don't do proper research on history.

If they understand 1% of what the climate change concept is all about, they'd rather and best spend 80% of the monies they wasted on this trip on getting Lagos secure against the impact of flooding and heatwave which are fallouts of the climate consequence itself.

They don't even understand nothing scientific that concerns the paradigm.

Foolish govt.

They would have made a case for Lagos state which stands to be submerged between the years 2040-50 due to climate change and its consequent sea level rise.
Back home now, what measures are they going to put in place to make sure regions that are prone ro catastrophic impacts are protected?

Your guess is as food as mine.

In an interview with Premium Times, Yusuf Tuggar, minister of foreign affairs, said the reason the President did not deliver a speech was because Nigeria wanted more action and less talk.

You wanted 'more action and less talk' yet you carried over 1,000 people to the conference. Only to get there and now want less talk.

Why not stay back in Nigeria and watch it online if you wanted less talk.

You people think you're leading Nursery 1 children.

They're actually leading Nursery 1 children because Nigerians act like one.

He chose to keep fighting. A fighting that would be sustained by US resources. Imagine.

Is climate change Nigeria's priority?

The mandate thief came to finish what Bubu started!

Most of you just don't read or follow the news in details.
The Nigerian govt suddenly woke up to the COP conferences as soon as they heard that the developed countries are mandated to pay developing countries a whooping $100bn annually (Climate finance) for Climate adaptability purposes.

Go and read it up. Our govt is running all around there now to make a good case for Nigeria and start having their share.
The good question should be, what happens to these monies once they're paid?

Your guess is as good as mine.
