God is speaking through him. I'm a believer. |
When I saw Mary Odili involved in this roundtable, I knew what to expect. Nothing good comes out from that woman and her associations. Nigeria is doomed. I only pity our young ones. |
It's called Post Partum depression. It manifests itself in many forms. To be a man is not easy. In times like this, you'd often wonder if you didn't marry a witch. Men and women ain't the same. Don't worry, though. Keep being the gentleman, she will come around. |
The man called "Gangling Rashidi" Chai. Time don really pass. Nigeria has had it. Yekini was so good that his fellow team members began to beef him. They wouldn't pass the ball to him at 94 world cup. He remains the best Nigeria can ever produce as a striker. |
Early 2000s while I worked at this small time office in Lagos, I walked into these three female colleagues of mine talking about how they would never date a guy who doesn't own a car. Lol. Then, most of us male colleagues in the office jumped buses to work and somehow we all got to know how our ladies perceived us. Few years on, things started happening and we guys began to pick up...buying cars, establishing businesses, owning lands and cars. Come and see these ladies naa. They began to form closeness. Inviting most of us to churches and weddings. Looking back, I'm quite happy on how most of us guys in that office turned out. The struggle and hardship shaped us. We learned the courage to call a spade a spade snd move on. Thing is, things will change for the upright and hardworking soul; no matter what. Always pay attention to how people treat you when you've little or nothing. That's the beginning of wisdom. |
Too much money kills the passion in any sport. I don't envy them, though. But, that's a fact. |
yewit37486:Agreed. I fairly exaggerated but the price of Canola oil has almost been the same. If there's any increase, maybe by few cents, which anyone can afford. |
yewit37486:You doubt what? UK is a sh.tty country in my opinion. I can't go there to live for whatever reason(s) |
Folks and this japa thing sef. Thing is, if you've a proper channel and secured documentation program intact, better move. Over 15yrs ago I left Naija, looking back; nothing much has changed back home. NEPA was amongst the main reasons I left. My line of work requires constant light supply and AC. And, how's NEPA today? Still much the same. Fact is, if you cam thrive in any locality in Naija where you struggle for water to bath, fetch petrol for gen, battle mechanic wahala, potholes on the roads, noise pollution on the roads, exhaust fumes, daily inflationary rates etc I can go on and on. If you can deal with the above and be successful in Naija, do yourself a favor and stay. Here I am, the price of ground nut oil has remained fairly constant over 20yrs. Same with gas price. Who really needs side stress that takes away 70% of your life's energy on a daily basis? In this 21st century? Abeg. |
aremubabs:Due to my busy schedule I couldn't lost a reply on time. Well, it suits you fine if you find pleasure in the program. With Nigeria's current situation, anything to keep one's blood pressure in check should be a welcome idea...but the reason why I query the program is, is it really needed at this time? Mind you, it's a well fed country or person that engages in the trivial as pastime. You very well know how bad the Nigerian economy is and topmost towards its solutions lies the mind of the average youth. Your present leaders won't rescue the economy. They're only digging deeper. We are in a knowledge economy and nations are fast leapfrogging forward. Do you need programs like this to engage your young ones while youths in other nations have their minds on chips and brands of silicon? You might not get my drift. I will talk more. |
The man was stupid enough to believe he was safe inside Russia after what he did. I don't know why he felt confident moving and flying around. |
aremubabs:What do you glean off that program besides a satisfaction of your voyeuristic urges? This is why the Nigerian leaders toy with your future. I know you will say wetin concern this person? You're definitely right if you say that but, the mind engagements of most of you is worrisome. |
It beats me why the NBC has yet to ban this despicable program. Some youths that support it may not know it; it's stay is a reflection of the present youths values and preoccupation. This works poorly to make any well meaning person or body to take our young ones seriously. Nigeria needs an overhaul now. There's so much hardship for the common man. |
Ekehwinz:It's mineral resource: Uranium. That's what France has been looting all these years; and that's what the coupist aim to stop. Common reason tells me the western powers are muscling Niger through the mouth of ECOWAS. |
Nothing kills like lusting after another man's wife, girlfriend or property. If you escape the wrath of the owner, trust me; you won't escape Karma. |
I actually thought these were Psquare. I feel like throwing up. |
No be this same man a week ago he was seen lying with a Bible to his chest that he never partied during Covid lockdown. I'm sure he's cone to Naija to learn how to lie properly. |
We are all lonely in the world. You're born alone...and will die alone. Make the most of your loneliness. Take out some money, buy books and build a small library in your house, then read to occupy and grow your mind. And, if you're an extrovert, take out some money and party every other night. Abi club no dey Europe? |
A popular uprising is presently going on in Israel as the youths fight for the nation's democracy rocked by a looming legislation about to be passed by Netanyahu. Comparisons could be drawn with Nigeria here. And, no Nairaland mod has deemed it fit to report this news. Sad. |
phorget:Not fidgeting. I never said that. Speak confidently and calmly. Truth never rushes to be heard. |
See the way he's talking without breathing. Thays how you tell a chronic liar. |
Sad. Many will remember him for the drama during Abacha's time. He was one of those who stood up to Abacha and called him out. But, I'd remember him for being my Landlord for the most part of the early 2000s in Lagos. I was a tenant at one of his buildings behind Alade market, Ikeja and throughout my long years tenantship, this man never raised the rent by a single dime. Neither did we see him come around for once to make noise over anything. He would quickly send the maintenance crew to fix whatever problem wherein anyone complained. Sir, you were a rare breed. I salute you, Sir. |
G00DHardDick:That's a different movie. About terrorists that stormed a hotel and took hostages. Hotel Rwanda is about the genocide in Rwanda in 94. |
Rolexxxy:Seems like "fool" is the newest word in your lexicon. If you so much love it, better eat it....and become the fool. Fool. |
She's actually a beautiful woman. Na Naija stress dey happen there. |
Angelfrost:You've PVC. |
Angelfrost:But I'm sure you trusted INEC |
rickleye:" Next 4 years, maybe people will VOTE who?" Based on what you saw in these elections, do you still believe the people's voting power counts? If you believe that, then you would believe anything in this 2023. It's only a simpleton that will believe in the Nigerian electoral system going forward. |
I noticed that the PVC is useless. I also noticed that the smartest Nigerian can be deceived by this Government. |
They're inviting them to exchange banters. Forget it. These two people are part of this thieving, ruling agberotocratic government. Nothing will happen to them. Nothing. |
This election confirms one thing: Nigeria is growing in reverse. In some foreign economies, things get fairer or better as years roll by; in Nigeria, it's the opposite. Things get worse as years come by. Don't expect a better future election. It will be worse than this. |
don't let UK people hear you o, lol.
