Asher can not die . He is an evil genius; every series needs one. Or two . "Kill Them All" wasn't the best episode, you kind of have the feeling they were "wrapping things up". Illythia escaped the carnage (trust the devious broad ) but we are at last rid of the House of Batiatus, as I predicted . Looks like we'll have a band of fugitives on our hands, causing havoc to the Romans and giving us another season of blood and sand . I hope Spartacus grows his hair back, by the way . candylips: I think the producers have already signed up for another season so i guess they might delay the revolt a little. . i think I read on Wiki that even before the show premiered, they'd been commissioning another season. Talk about being cocky . They knew the series would be a hit. And with the rich production (good actors, great costumes, fantastic battle scenes), why wouldn't it be? I heard though that the lead actor (Spartacus) has some kind of illness (cancer) that is going to delay Season 2 a little. I hope he gets better because I wouldn't want him replaced! |

Tarmpa: Wao! na wao ehn, NL is more interesting than a novel!.Hmn,those good old days were really fun.I can still remember one sunday eve, when my elder sis & my parents were in d living room down stairs, while i was all alone in my room upstairs.& that was because i wanted to perform the experiment of "BLOWING MY TV OPEN SO THAT THE KIDS COULD COME OUT & PLAY WITH ME".all alone without disturbance. My mum ran upstairs shouting where is my baby?,she always refer to me as her baby since i was/am the last born of the family of two,ie my elder sis & i.So, on hearing her voice,i pretended to be fast asleep & as soon as she was gone,i jumpd down d bed to continue my experiment.Well,i was watching my favourite kidies movie on tv & really wanted the kids to come out & play with me. Honestly,it wasn't an easy task as d tv was stronger than i ever thought, but when i eventually blew it open, the ugliest sight was what i behold instead of d lovely kids i had wanted to play with.My parents ran upstairs on hearing d strange noice,What! My Dad exclaimed,He wanted to beat hell out of me for d very 1st time, since they aren't used to beating us at all.But when i cried out"No dad! I only wanted my kidies friends on tv to come out & play with me! I've been so lonely in this house without younger ones or a very little baby to play with! Pls buy me 3 or more siblings because i'm lonely!" Ah! My parents were shockd, mum came & held me close to her, while Dad just sat on d floor, then my sis burstd into serious laughter & we all joined her in d laughing galour. Then my Dad instructed d house keeper to change d tv d next day,& also buy us more toys to play with, After which they gave us another round of serious lectures.Secondly,i & my sis always go to d toy room to play & in there are different kind of toys,,veeery many & enouph to form a toy shop.Well, one night my sis came to room & insist on we, spending the night in our toy room & on our toy bed for a change.I agreed because it was always fun 2 play in there,we've often taken a nap of even siesta on our toy bed but havn't tried sleeping there at night,we went in there when our parent were fast asleep, playd with our toys until we fell asleep. Then, comes d most scaring night mare of my life where all our animal & baby toys started chasing me. I could still remember that i shouted with a loud voice,i woke up two days later on my hospital bed!, surrounded my my family.Ah! What i'm i doing here? I had fainted physically during dat night mare.Hmn,we went home d next day & my mum brought a pastor to our toy room,,, oo boy!,come see prayers! Every thing that's not of God in this room, out!out!out! In Jesus name!. Bobobobo, babalalatoto.Holy ghoooost fire.Lol. Another one i can still remember was when i was 5,i was waiting for my sis in her room, she was 12yrs then, very light in complexion & beautiful. She was having her bath while i sat on her chair & was makin face on her dressing mirror, from d mirror i could see her far behind me,she just came out of d bathroom, flingd her towel to d bed & started rubing cream on her body.Hey! Whats dat? I shouted,as from d mirror,i had noticed two beautiful round balls on her chest,i turned round to conferm,ah! What are those?i asked her, shut up! She shouted, muuummmyeeeeee,i ran out befor she could stop me, luckily for me,they weren't down stairs but in d sitting room up stairs,& as such,it was easy to meet them befor she could get hold of me.What's it? Shouted my Dad with his baaaaz voice,my sis saw them as soon as she trew d door open,& ran back to her room since she was unclothed. Hmn,,i saw two beautiful oranges on her chest. What! Dad had esclaimed while mum just opend her mouth wide without a word.Lol.Hehehe, those funny old days!.My sis still rememberd this too,we even joked about it d last time i came, befor i traveld back to d states.I think it's good to remember those good old days at times.I'm off to work abeg, ah! nl's too much. OH MY DAYYYYYYZZZZZ!!!!!! You officially win the craziest and funniest everrr!!!!! I laughed out loud, folks in the house would think I was crazy!! Talk about Nightmares in the Nursery . That would make a great Nollywood movie . |

Na wa o, so, by inviting Beyonce, did Adenuga imply there was anything wrong with Sunny Ade and other big shot Nigerian musicians? Rich or poor, everyone has their own choice to make. When Beyonce sang at the Inauguration Dinner for Obama, people didn't understand; but she was specially chosen by Obama because Beyonce is a favourite of his wife and daughters, not because she is the best or most important in the world. |

I guess the producers know we will soon get tired of seeing the faces of Batiatus and his wife , so this revolt thing might really happen, to get us all out of that gladiator camp. I think we need a change of scene, don't you?? Meanwhile, Batiatus must die . My best moment in the series is seeing Crixus cry like a baby as Navia is taken away. Now he knows how Sparty felt to lose someone you love. I really cried when Varo died. With his cute curly hair and his friendship with Spartacus, he was my favourite. Well, second favourite next to Sparty. Hey, he might not be much to look at (ever since they cut his hair he's just been lean and mean ) but I think his character and acting have improved since the first few episodes. I foresee him being destined for great and fortunate things in the acting world . ****best fight scene****
Seeing Sparty kick the butts of ALL the Legatus' men in the last episode (e12). Even Glaber himself fear . |

ROTF, well, certainly not in a convent school with Rev. sisters in charge . If it was a real "competition", they would have heard of it. I only told them one teacher wanted it and would give a reward . U can't believe how they were looking forward to winning it . |
I really did some yucky things as a kid. Whenever my mum is getting ready for work, I used to stay in the room with her and watch her prepare. Sometimes after combing her hair, she will remove some of the hair that cut in the process from the comb and give to me to throw away. On my way to the garbage bin, I will just duck somewhere and eat all the hair ( I wonder why i still have intestines) I used ot enjoy eating the boogie from my nose as a child, i to cherished that delicacy
For real ? Outta sight!! Did you really have to share that with us? ? Kinda funny though. Looks like most "crimes" were against our parents/guardians, and a few against our siblings. I really outsmarted my elder brothers more than once in my time , to show u that girls can really have more sense than their older male counterparts. Like I said earlier, I grew up with a lot of boys - sisters came later (much later, and they were no match for me . They grew up being the girly, loveable ones, while I chose the opposite path ) Anyway, like, in primary school, my friends and I loved music and knew all the latest pop songs, though we might not know the right words. My elder ones were good with that, being older and more intelligent . Well, a new song came out that I really liked but I didn't know the lyrics. I really wanted to show off to my pals, so I had to think up a way to make my brothers get me the lyrics. Knowing they wouldn't help me if I just asked them to (yeah, I was a real brat ), I tricked them by telling them that a teacher in my class promised some prize money to anyone who would get her the correct lyrics. Wanting to win the prize in this lyrics competition , they quickly procured the lyrics and wrote it down neatly for me. I was very happy and later they kept asking how far with the competition, did they win?? LOL, can't remember if I confessed or not, but it was really funny to think that my older brothers actually believed someone was giving out a prize for song lyrics?? Boys!!! |

VPG: I remembered when I was in Pry 3 my late grandma use to give me pocket money for lunch everyday before leaving for school. One day I was roaming around her room and discovered a box filled with money so every morning i will sneak into her room while she's making breakfast for me to take to school and help myself with some of the cash then turn around and ask her for lunch money. I was living large, big boy on campus. This went on for 3 weeks and finally the money in the box finished. Business as usual she was making breakfast i went into her room and found out that my treasure box is empty but no shakins i still gat the grandma lunch money to collect, when the school bus arrived i started looking at her and of cos she was looking at me too i was thinking in my head is this woman forgetting something. Then she smiled and said my husband there is a box in my room where i kept your lunch money for the school year go there and get it. The next pocket money i gat from her was when i gat admitted into secondary school. LOL. Very wise grandma. So it's not only by beating that a kid is disciplined. Three years without pocket money from your loving grandma is surely a great lesson learned . |

Lol, brothers are like the eighth wonder of the world. You sometimes ask why the term was created . By the time they are through with u (as kids), you wonder if you're truly related. Mine was terrible with one aunty like that when i was young, anytime this aunt finish cooking (pounded yam) she will call me and we will eat together, after that she will take me to her room and start romancing me on the bed while my mum is in the other flat, i dont really know what was going on then cause i was very young but later when i grew up i always remember.
Trust me , i knew back then that this aunt has boy friend that used to come to see her but this aunt will not just stop doing that to me. There are this twins gurls, we used to be friend till today, i remember back then when this particular aunty will put them on each other to be romancing each other while she continue romancing me.
