Lol, folks these days can't say three words without saying "swagga", so it's all good . But Baba Nee does have loads of swagga naw . His hair do, dance style, dress sense, confidence, and of course, his good music .

Just watched the live show vid - very good performance. The dance moves are pretty cool - the guys are going matrix on some makosa/creep walk/calabar dance steps . With the right rebranding this guy could be big. But 9ice has more charisma though.

Come, this Baba Nee should do his thing and leave 9ice alone o, there's plenty of room for everyone, no need to start with a diss track. Haba. I liked the song when I saw the video a while back, never knew he was beefing 9ice that much, just thought it was a cool similarity. Abeg he should go jo, I bet he won't last as long as 9ice has .

Looks like a great movie (from the trailer). I'm not crazy about the casting though - and what's with the rock soundtrack?? This isn't Transformers for goodness sake!! This was an epic movie of its time, I love the special effects I'm seeing - the film will deliver, but they shouldn't try to sell out on quality just to appeal to the younger generation. Films like Troy, Gladiator etc will always stand out because they did things right. Waiting to see how The Titans pans out.

lol, while agree with you to some degree, i find beyonce to be extremely calculating. She is what i call the ultimate manufactured artist. While her songs are technically good and she has the talent to pull it off, i don't feel any authenticity from her. Whenever there's a trend, she's on it. She saturates all the channels with videos and essentially forces you to like the track.
Comparing her with Michael is an insult. Michael was the real deal. Most of the tracks he made were exclusively his. He was an innovator that others followed. Beyonce waits to see what is hot and then gets the Machine behind her to dominate and eliminate the rivals.

When she can't dominate or eliminate, she does a collabo, to show she can match you at your own game.

Slick strategy, sells plenty of records (no complaints in that department), but still leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

On the other hand, Lady Gaga, completely fresh and original. Now everybody is on her swag, even Beyonce.

Yes yes, but don't you think that sometimes she overdoes it? There's such a thing as overkill, you know. She needs to pull back a bit and do something more normal and culturally acceptable for once. Yeah, the whole video itself was pathetic - and verging on desperate . I mean, dancing in the prison corridor dressed in just a bra and thongs. . . goodness . Everyone has been trying to outdo Beyonce ever since she did a video in a body suit (Single Ladies). Since then, no one is ever full dressed in any of their videos. E.g. Shakira (She-Wolf) Rihanna (Rude Boy) etc. I guess it's becoming a trend .
