Drive which investors?
So it's better to lie to the investors?
Change your name please, there's nothing smart about you
I understand what he said.
You can't expect a president to go to an international summit and start badmouthing the country he's the supposed leader of.
So Baba will lie and obsfucate as much as possible.
When the investors come, na wetin dem see na im dem see.

Travel › Re: The Japa After The Japa by maestro299: 8:16pm On Nov 20, 2023
zichien:
It is multifactorial. Generally the older you are at the time of "japa", the harder it is to adjust.
1) It can be socially isolating. At work you have to adjust to the accents, and cant even laugh anyhow, and will just be tensed up... you finish work and come home and wont see anyone to talk t.. you go to church the same thing. Unless you find a Nigerian church.
2) The weather: It can be cold, and annoying, and will make you want to stay in doors and not come out
3) Lack of sunlight. Honestly there is something about seeing the sun that gives one joy. If youve lived in a country like Nigeria with beautiful weather, and correct sunlight, and you are now transported to a place with gloomy depressing weather, ah your brain sef will be doing some how
4) Bills. You've migrated with all the expectations. Your people sent you forth at the airport. They told you job full everywhere, money is everywhere. You work .. and by work I mean you put in those long hard hours ..and are paid your first pay check and see how much is deducted as tax. and how much finally ends up in your account. In Nigeria you are used to surviving on your paycheck + bribe+ plus urgent 1k. You can owe Iya Basira, and owe your landlord, and sort electricity. Now here you are surviving on paycheck alone which is "Salary-(taxes-monthly rent-monthly phone bill-monthly gas/water bill-monthly deduction to send home-monthly deduction for car insurance). What is left off is then saved. And then there is the pressure because you are seeing the ones that are carrying" you know what" flaunting on instagram, and making you look like an idiot, and lazy... and you begin to wonder wether it is not the same Japa,or God that you are serving.
5) When you were in Nigeria, you had an excuse for not succeeding. You could blame Jonathan, Or Buhari, or Tinubu or ipob. Now you are here, and have arrived... and typical oyibo expects one to take accountability for their actions. The buck stops on you. No one to blame for your lack of progress but yourself.. so some folks fall into depression because a sheep in Nigeria is still a sheep in Canada, Uk etc. Someone that used an agent to sort through university, used an agent to find them a school abroad, an agent to apply for their visa, has now come to a setting where you have to DIY. No agent will tell you how to apply for that extra certificate that will help you advance your career, no agent will tell you how to create a strategic long term plan such that in 10years you will be at the top of your career, no agent will tell you what classes to choose to develop the skill sets that are highly sought after. So someone who has always lacked the self efficacy, and accountability, someone who doesnt know how to take ownership, and blames others eg " my mother is a witch", "my village people did me" " they sent me poison"... will struggle badly, and can fall into depression.

This isnt all... but just a few random thoughts

As a matter of fact, Israel "may have"hired actors to pretend to kill 1400 people on Oct 7 and they also "may have" hired the 1400 people including babies to act dead for the cameras.

CNN and its overt and covert support for Palestinians and their brand of Terror is just disgusting

Abi?
Let's kukuma say the videos of Israelis being killed and bombed are deep fakes created by Mossad and Zelensky to discredit the peace loving Hamas terrorists.

Peoria is not in South Africa, it's a city in Illinois, USA. The one you're thinking about is Pretoria. That one is in South Africa.

Things do not always go as planned. Now, let me analyze how you would eventually end up in the EFCC cell with your watery plan.

The person you would contact at the NIMC would get greedy and demand $3Million from the whole bounty, since he knows it’s a lifetime opportunity.

I trust you, you that mistakenly landed a jackpot that doesn’t belong to you would resist and fight harder, even more than the legitimate owner of the bounty would have fought.

Now, let us assume that common sense prevails and you succumb to the greed of your NIMC’s contact.

Where will you register for the new BVN? A Bank? Hahahaaaaa! grin

Na for there, EFCC go grab you. Do you know why Bankers are called “Emperors of Greed” ?

Your contact in the Bank would have to settle up to 8 other contacts within the Bank before what you want can get done.

At the end of the day, you might not even get up to a Million Dollars out of the entire bounty because they would make you realize how risky it is for them to get caught.

That same greed that is motivating you to scheme $10.4Million erroneously paid into your account is the same geed that will bury you when you come in contact with the Emperors of Greed.

You no go see Ghana, talk less of Europe.
No mind that guy jare.

You this delusional idiot can keep crying. Nigeria has always had bad leaders and that's why Nigeria hasn't gotten better after all this years. Nigeria is just a few months in the hands of the only president that can turn things around but you won't give him the chance. Nigeria lost respect everywhere long time ago and it's because of people like you not the leadership, even affrican countries with worse leaders despise you. Nigerian leaders get red carpet where they go, it's you that get the mistreatment.
So we thought in Lagos; at the end of the day, he just turned the state into his personal fiefdom.

So when the so-called average guys get rich, you expect them to stick to one babe
that probably also came to leash off their wealth?

You are very funny, man

Society has told us that a broke man doesn't deserve any woman.
By that logic, when said man becomes wealthy, he should be entitled to as many women as he desires.

Winning elections in Nigeria is not just by forming alliances, it is by controlling inec, mobilizing criminal thugs, snatching boxes, killings, ethnic intimidation, tons of money etc.
Yes, as you rightly said, politics can never work out of south east and yes Nigeria may never work well and progress unfortunately because of tribal issues when a proper person comes along. Igbos were not tribal when it came to voting for Obasanjo twice, even against an igbo candidate, they were not tribal when they voted Jonathan, neither tribal when they voted Tinubu in Lagos and gave overwhelming support to fashola, even when tinubu wanted him out for his 2nd term.
I put it to you, had igbos such as rochas, uzor Kalu, uzodimma contested against eg Osibanjo, akinwumi ambode, 100% igbos will vote for Ambode and Osibanjo.
For igbos it is not about tribe, but who the believe will perform, make their lives better, their business, trade, education and standard of living. Same thing with Yorubas, but for a few that were wrongly mobilized to look at ethnicity, basically to have their hold on their source of income eg oluomo and his group. Was it not so with the LP candidate in Lagos, just because he has an igbo mother he was termed not a proper Yoruba and Lagosian even by those not from Lagos state?
Some even went as far as saying even if their person will destroy the country and make them paupers, they do not mind as far as their person is on seat.
The earlier all sections of this country, Igbos, Yorubas, Hausa etc remove tribalism from our politics, the faster Nigeria will progress.
The alternative is to appeal to UK to provide us a president, Russia a minister of finance and cbn governor (see how they managed the Russian economy despite the sanctions), American to be minister of Defense (because they like war), American as oil minister ( because the like oil and will bring war democracy to our neighbors with oil, We will grab their oil), Israeli as agric minister (they will grab all the farm land in Niger, Chad, Cameroon etc, they like to grab land eg Palestinian land), Norwegian as water resources minister (they like water too much and we will grab all the fish around Ghana, Cameron etc). Let's kukuma outsource governance if that is what will make Nigeria better.
Hmm.... 🤔 🤔

There is a difference between having more than you need and having more than you want. Many people can easily get more than they need. You cannot observe people from the point of your present reality. Material wealth starts to diminish in value after you have more than you need to be comfortable in a modern society. Then comes popping out other needs that have remained dormant.
Nevertheless, I understand your point. Most women don't know how to respect a man. They either worship or humiliate. They know no middle ground. They think it is their natural right to insult a man, even if he just wants to be a friend or colleague. Thus, the richer a woman is the more obnoxious and overbearing they become. The less a man has to come in contact with women in general, the better it is for him. But what is good is always hard to do.

What do you then propose Israel should do? Who's supposed to think of the lives and welfare of those Palestine women and children? Israeli leadership or Palestine leadership i:e Hamas? Why would Hamas endanger the lives of it's supposed citizens by starting a fight that it knew will lead to retaliation and death on its people? If Hamas doesn't value the lives of it's people, why should Israel do so? If you were in Netayanhu's shoes, what would you do?

Romance › Re: When Your Wife Constantly Insults You by maestro299: 5:56pm On Nov 01, 2023
Namaster:
What your wife is doing to you is domestic abuse. Domestic abuse from men manifests in physical abuse. Domestic abuse from women manifests in verbal abuse.

Obviously, your wife neither respect nor love you. Her attraction to you is dead. You are the cash cow now.

You have two options:

1. Divorce her: This is your best option. It's the soft way out. Zero scandal. More peace of mind. Plus, you can use the money you're spending on the ungrateful b1tch to expand your business or investment.

Send her packing and bring in a new, fresh and young 23-year old girl with big yansh that thinks the world of you. You don't have to tolerate an aging, unattractive woman who belittles you.

This is one of the best parts about living in Nigeria. The bitch gets no alimony or child support. You don't have to give her a dime. Throw her sh1t out and let her fend for herself.

Let Renewed Hope engulf her in a tight hug without the benefit of your financial resources shielding her.

She'll understand why some women are going naked to pray for husbands.

2. Beat the shit out of her: Your wife is a bully. Bullies get more confident and empowered when their victims don't fight back.

And you sound like one of those men who vow to never hit a woman no matter what. That's a fine ideal. But brash people who wilfully take actions to harm you deserve whatever they get.

She's attacking you. You need to defend yourself. Take a cue from Israel and respond with overwhelming force. If she comes at you with sharp words and loud voice. Retaliate with hard slaps and heavy blows.

Fight fire with inferno. It's a FAFO world now.

She's playing to her strength by attacking you with words. You will fail if you try to respond with words. You can NEVER match her.

Your strength is physical. Beat the living shit out of her. She can NEVER match you.

The downside to this is that you could end up killing her. Your tale would become one of the ones we read on Nairaland.

Beating her is a solution. She'll come to fear and respect you. Plus, she'll no longer feel bored with being with you. She'll constantly anticipate the next direction the vawulence will come from. Also, make up sex.

This is twisted but if you still love her, you'll begin to whoop her silly.

That said, it's in your best interest to just divorce her and move on. Don't let her drag you into her twisted ways.
Very engaging and entertaining post.
