my own take is, either you speak with them or not, they will still understand and be able to speak. In as much as other pple speak it in their presence, e.g mum and dad, aunties or uncles or even d house help. I was shocked when i overheard my niece speaking very good and sound yoruba with d house help, this is a girl that since her arrival to the family, we all stopped speaking yoruba so that she will not learn it, but she learnt it on her own, only God knows how.

ok. i think am getting somewhere now, at least like 3 pple has confirmed the recipe to be carrot, white cabbage and cream.
But how am i going to prepare it? because i have never even prepared a good vegetable salad b4, i tried it ones, and it was a mess , imagine and it was even on my sis's wedding day, i could not even eat it my self.
So how is good vegetable salad and coleslaw prepared? i must learn it o, because salad is one food i luv sooooooooo much

I was actually thinking of telling him to 4get it, that i do not want to look for any job for now until i am thru with my degree, but now, am thinking of giving it a trial who knows,
But what i really want to know is does taking a job from NDLEA what it atall? how good is the job? am not talking about the pay alone now, the environment, training, job security etc what do i stand to benefit if i am been employed at the end of the day, because my bros is making me to see it as a life time opportunity of which i dont want to beleive anyway.

Presently, i work with an ISP company, although the pay is not that famtastic, but at least i have been surviving with it.

But just yesterday my bllod brother taht happen to be a senior called and said there is recruitment going on in NDLEA. i do not really

know much about them nor how their staff are been treated i.e in termes of job security, motivation, the salary, etc.

ND LEA staff in the house pls tell me, how is the organization like? i don't want to do something dat i will be regretting in future o.

He gave me an ultimatum of 3 to 4 days to conclude if am going do it or not.

I luv my present job, even though the pay is not all dat good, but its better. My brother's fare is the fact that my present job is a private

organization that anything can happen at any time (God forbid bad thing though)

Where i work presently, i am the customer care/ support person and its a very challenging job that i learn new things almost everyday

because am in the engineering dept, i have my ND also have a certificate in customer care and i am still planning to go for more trainging in

the same field i.e customer care.

My plan is actually to work with either an oil and gas, or telecommunication companies in future (God willing)

Pls Nairalanders, yr candid advise is urgently needed

Amen i say to that too. it always amaze me when i see women talk about other women. my ma inlaw is not an angel but she is a very nice lady. we always got on from the first day i spoke to her on the phone. we talk and email every day . it is like i have known her all my life.

we all know the only thing that will cause wahala for us. the young lady that brought us all together and so as adults that we are we all agreed under no circumstances anyone streses her. so long as she is happy, we are all freinds and happy so far it has lasted.

hnmmmmmmmmmm, u have all said it well. but yoruba has an adage that says makanmakan ni oye nkan o, b4 u no it now you too will become a mother inlaw, and how will you fill if your daughter/son in law does not want you around your own son/daughter?. its always very painful when i read thins like dis from ladies/women like me, y not start seeing them as yr own mother so that peace can always rain? because am sure no good son/daughter will pray for his/her inlaw not to be in good term, when you are in good term with your inlaws that is when i think you will enjoy yr home the more.
Thank God for the kind of family am from, my step mum which i see as my mum NEVER passed the night in her sons houses b4, even when the wives has just been delivered of a baby, she wont mind to go and com back few days after, thank God its close by Lagos to Abeokuta. And my father, NEVER he never tried it b4, i can count how many times he visited during his life time.
My prayer to the most high is to give me the best mother in law that anybody can ever pray to have, the one that will always see me as a daughter AMEN

I taught its only happens in my ex's church CAC, my ex prefers certisfying his pastor and his family to certisfying any other person including me, to an extent that d wife's pastor put to bed, and 4rom hosipatal it was my guy's flat they moved to, they even had d naming there, as i am typing dis now, they are still in his house.
The Pastor's wife has taking over d kitchen, d 2 rooms infact, no secret place 4 them in dat house, not just d husband and d wife alone o, 2gether with d pastor's other children from his ex wife . d 3 children, d baby, d pastor, d wife, one other girl whether na house help she be i no no, then with 3 other church members, d church members has been living with him b4 d pastor and d family moved in.
I asked when d pastor and d family will be living, he cant say, and whenever i go there i fill very unconfortable seening such crowd not even his family members o, i rearly  sees those ones around.

D pastor appears nice o, friendly, but my own spirit does not just like him, he looks more like a 419er to me, though i never told my guy dis o.
take a look @ dis, d pastor that married another wife when he has not divorced d first wife? and he did not even marry d second wife properly, only started living 2gether and after sometime, he impregnated her and they became husband and wife.
and if u see d way my guy worships d man, u wont believe he is just his pastor.
d guy has been brainwatched ehen, to an extent dat i lost my fone, he was to give me one of his fones, but in my absence d pastor fell in luv with d fone and asked for it and my guy dashed it to him just like dat, i was sooooooo angry, dis is me that i did not have any fone and he decide to give it to d pastor taht already had 2 fones .
Every friday is night vigil in my ex's flat, disturbing other neighbours with drum beating and song, if u enter my guy's flat, d first taht will welcome u is drums, bell etc, his house is their second church, they travel like hell, and he is going to be there driver throughout d journey.
All dis has really affected him proffessionally and he is not even seeing it atall, he does not want to look for work after he lost he his job, if u advise him to try and do dis to get a job like sending his cv and all dat he will tell u he is not ready to stress himself dat God will do it, dis is a guy dat is already 40 year old o and already has a 7 year lod daughter dat he has d responsiblity of taking care of o, not to now talk of d parents and d siblings,he is d first born.
We are no longer 2gether sha, because he is not just my type
