Religion / Re: Is It Bad To Drop An Empty Offering Envelope In Church? by Magmata: 10:50am On Nov 29, 2020
Don't be disturbed by the words of those leeches on pulpits, their god is their untamed senses. All they do is to make you feel guilty and greedy.

Worry about the contents of your heart and the thoughts in your head. Once you put these in order, your entire life becomes an offering.

But, if you think the only way God can bless you is by giving material offerings to him, then, I'll advice you have deeper look into what you called god; it might be another created being.

Again, if your own definition of blessing still revolve around finite materials, believe me, you aren't yet in touch with the infinite, the cause of all infinity.

As long as our finite desires are the reason for our spirituality, death will always be our reward, no matter how sweet or bitter our life is. Seek that which transcend death, seek that which is infinite.

God is infinite
Nothing exist beyond

God is complete
Nothing can be added

God cannot be divided
All forms of division stems from ignorance

There is no God and devil
There is no God and anything

Only God IS,
Hence, every sense of 'I' is false.

God's work is beyond damage
Who will damage it when only God is real.

Who can do God's work?
When God is the only doer.

Meditate on the 'possible' nature of God based on your understanding of the one infinite universe (the space in which everything seen and unseen exist) and free yourself from the ministers of emptiness.

This is one reason you should never waste your energy hustling for money.

Is it not degrading to keep toiling for money just to buy things of lesser value to your body?

Is it not insulting to submit your neck to an arduous task in exchange for money to buy necklace. What good is necklace to the neck?

Is it not more degrading to toil in exchange for money, then buy yourself a new master in the name of upgrading? Slave to your own sweat!

If you must toil, do it simply for the sake of your stomach, clothing and shelter at the very basic level.

Look at money, separate needs from wants, look at what we buy with money, then, you'll realize that money doesn't deserve the kind of attention given to it.

Being happy and comfortable is a mental attitude.

Don't be fooled by the noises.

Education / Re: Lagos Teacher Beats Student To Death For Not Answering Maths Question Correctly by Magmata: 1:46pm On Nov 28, 2020
Interest matters.

Good teachers know that their core assignment is to awaken the interest in students, once the interest is awakened, the teaching becomes less stressful.

A good teacher guides his students in the directions of their individual strengths, not out of blind zeal to make them the best based on social demand.

I'm sure that guy like many others is an accidental teacher just as we have immature parents scattered all over. Now, we shall see how mathematics will defend him.

It's absolute ignorance to think all students will respond the same way or fall within a particular score line. And, more terrible is the act of comparing students; only an idiot does that.

Until you've introduced all subjects and skills of life to a particular soul, never conclude in your small head that they are dumb.

Being happy is the ultimate goal and if someone considered dumb appears to be happy, what use is the forceful knowledge that doesn't guarantee happiness.

Teachers, please teach with sense. If teachers aren't the same, how much more students.
Politics / Re: Ifeanyichukwu Okereke's Family Demands ₦500 Milion From Gbajabiamila by Magmata: 7:02am On Nov 25, 2020
There is just a little difference between demanding money from a 'killer' as a form of 'whatever'... and exchanging a living person for money.

The only ransom for killing someone is either killing the killer or total forgiveness. And, of course, the former option has no healing effect of any quantity.

It's very pathetic that man has been reduced to mere commodity, he thinks money is the standard value for all things, his love for money has eaten up his reasoning.

If you know how invaluable you are (even as the poorest of the poor), you'll know how degrading it is to have money has a form of compensation or reward.

Dangote's money cannot save him from drowning but a timely intervention of a poor but good swimmer will do.

I'm not against giving money as a form of gesture but it should remain where it belongs; an ordinary piece of paper mistaken for something else.

Empty barrel makes the loudest noise.

Billions of moving stars spread infinitely in the infinite mind of God, yet all is silent.

The Earth rotates and revolves at an unbelievable velocity, yet everyone sleep without earlpug.

The moon bigger than all aircrafts combined announced its presence only by its reflecting surface.

Rivers, seas, oceans, trees and every creatures make their individual sound, yet the tranquility isn't disturbed.

Man has succeeded in polluting everything with his unrefined creativity; air, land, water and his own being.

Now, he is praying into loud speakers in the name of religion.

To who exactly; an omni-present God or an omni-absent God?

Anywhere greed abound, abundance is a curse.

Greed; when not quickly checked, has greater destructive potency than any known weapon.

It's good to be ambitious, but when the motivation to succeed is fueled by greed and personal interest, there is bound to be suffering.

Nigeria may appear to have many potential leaders but how many of them can pass greed test?

Just like it is with women.
If these policemen want to go, the IGP should let them go. "Never beg who doesn't want to be with you to be with you."

Agbamuche learnt the hard way that when a woman tells you that she is fed up; you should neither try to beg, coerce, blackmail or cajole her to stay back when he found out that the pastor whom he begged to counsel her on the importance and sanctity of marriage was the father of their 3rd child.

The IGP should not be scared.
The truth is that; even if all these policemen choose to retire today, there are many of us who are willing to pick up their batons and guns and replace them at those checkpoints collecting every 50 naira bribe with the truest diligence.

Wise men don't build high concrete fences,
Wise men don't buy bullet proof cars,
Wise men don't accumulate materials,
Wise men don't require body guards,
Wise men hardly lock their doors,
They have nothing to hide,
Their real wealth is beyond looting,
Their presence anywhere brings tranquility,
Their lifestyle doesn't arouse negative jealousy.

They belong to all tribes and families,
They don't see their ability to make wealth as a means to control or dominate or oppress,
They are simple and moderate.

Wise men build people not walls,
They gather people not material wealths,
They are symbol of moderation and simplicity,
They're immuned from the web of greediness.

Wise men don't lead; their disposition do,
A 12x12 room is too big for a wise man,
A wardrobe full of cloths is a burden,
He has no need for two cars or estate in all states.

Wall can stop angry beasts but not angry people.
Please, let's build each other; it's more secure than building fence.

Good morning.

Please I need suggestions.

What kind of prayers should I pray when the temptation arises, which Bible verse should I read?

Please know this is someone who's been addicted to porn for more than 7 years.

From personal experience, no easy way out. I've not heard of any deliverance ministry or a prayer point that does the magic with a touch.

The WILL to stop is the first step, until then there won't be any meaningful progress. Once you made up your mind, you will know that only you can save you and no one else.

Right within you is the power to overcome (it) but you have to tame your senses first. The morbid urge that hijacks your mind at will needs to be under your control. Forget the pleasure attached, the damage is bigger that what you can imagine.

Be bold to read every negative testimonies and write ups about pornography, it might help your decision. Then, cut all forms of pleasure to the necessary minimum.

Your sense organs are the channels to your mind, be very strict about what you feed them. All forms of pleasure mute the spirit within, therefore, guiding your sensory intakes is your sole responsibility.

Your addiction is a blessing in disguise, but not until it pushes you to restructure your life. At least, my own being a lonely war of many years as pushed me onto a stage of one life purpose; only God matters.

Although, my own understanding of God is not the conventional type, it has no religion affiliation; it encompasses all. He is right there within and without you, it's personal and universal.

John 12:24
Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.

You (your senses) have to die for God to emerge, affiliation to any forms of belief isn't enough, they are just pointers for people with eye.

Each time you relapse, pick yourself up brother. If I can be free, anyone can be.

When you see a pack of wolves leading flocks of sheep, take a second look at the sheep; most (of them) are wolves in disguise.

Bad leadership is never an accident nor a punishment from any God. It is natural that the most dominant traits leads.

Having insensitive and greedy souls as democratic leaders shows that the majority they lead share the same traits.

Larger percentage of humanity is greedy and selfish, most will not agree to this trait until the platform presents itself.

If the politicians are the problem, why not face them? Where is the wisdom in all these public and private lootings and destructions when the culprits are left untouched?

There is a big flaw in majority mentality and, until something is done to awaken our drowning souls, all solutions will be tentative and edgy.

How I wish religious people can pass their messages without sounding religious.

All major religions I've checked, non of them has automatic transformation botton.

Change your name to Jesus or buddah or..., turn yourself into a vampire by feeding on jesus' blood day and night, or sit on the whole upanishad in lotus position 24/7; if the determination to put flesh and senses where they belong is not strong enough, you'll always end up in the same circle of vanity.

If you aren't ready to let go all pleasures associated with; Lusts of life, Lust of the flesh and Prides of life, you aren't ready to be free from the grip of death.

I love to say more but there is nothing left to say.

Message of Truth is simple when the soul is ready, the moment you understand the futility of what you call life, the urge to ask one God for material blessings will vanish, all desires for sensory pleasure will disappear, your eyes will open and your interest will take complete shift.

Until a soul is ready, he will never see beyond religion.

May we be guided.

Everybody likes using the word: restructure like it's a magic pill. We have LGA chairpersons, reps, senators... how come schools in their districts are not world-class? Let me see just one example of a part of Nigeria that's fair and equitable to all, and I will say OK, those guys will benefit from restructuring.

Delta suffered when it was part of Western Region.
Ekiti suffered when it was part of Ondo.
Ask the beggars and codeine takers in North West and North Central if their elites give a rat's ass about them. Why would their lot improved if restructured?
Will the destitute in North East suddenly get their lives back if restructured?
Why are so many poor in Western Nigeria (including Lagos)? Why so many ritual killings? How can restructuring help them?
All those baby factories and fake medicine makers in East? How will restructuring cure that problem?
Is it lack of restructuring that's stopping the South South leaders from taking care of their people and environment?

Even when Biafra was around, the masses suffered while the elites enjoyed imported tea and chocolate.

The same senators in Abuja will be the same ones in each restructured zone... still stealing money collectively.

Youths, you've seen what your voice can do in the #EndSars campaign... do not waste your voice in 2023.

You're very correct.

Even if Nigeria is divided into 200 autonomous nations, the fundamental problems will still persist. Except, maybe the blame torch will have new focus.

Having leadership problems at ward levels within local goverments is enough evidence that our problems as a nation has its origin in individual mentality (indiscipline).

I am 100% sure that if governance can be straightened from the ward and local level, the ripple effect will dissolve a large chunk of the problems we have as a nation.

But as long as majority remain brainwash-able through tribal and religious sentiments; induced poverty and personal greed, 2023 will make no difference. A known pervert will still be packaged through the same channel of manipulation.

One thing is certain, when the time is ripe, something will trigger the move, just like #endsars.

If Nigeria isn't a jungle, then what is it?

I'm a consumer under ikeja electric and I can say categorically that they are SARS with Plier, or something worse.

My hatred for them is so strong that I haven't feel a minute pain for getting disconnected since October 2019.

I asked them to disconnect me while I process prepaid meters. Could you imagine this people kept me waiting for 3months before a 5minutes survey was carried out, and another 6months before I got payment advice and now still waiting for the meter after over a month of acknowledging my payment.

Equipped with an experience of how this heartless people operate, I requested temporary disconnection pending when the meter will show. Lo and behold, this criminals have found a way of billing me two times for being disconnected (43k plus).

I almost became their worker to keep their insanity at that level (2 bills) with petitions on weekly basis. Yet, they find it 3xtremely hard to reverse the mischarges after all investigations and evidences proved they were guilty.

Funny thing is, once they noticed l've relaxed, they will send another bill then tell me "sorry for the inconveniences, we are working to resolve it ASAP".

In fact, one of their field agent had to ask me how I take they survive without electricity. I told him "I never new I could until you people forced me to try". Now I have peace of mind.

My advice for those of you amassing bills, especially lanlords; whatever outstanding you have on that bill is not for decoration, they know what they are doing. The delay is purposeful.

Until a protest for proper change is ripe, avoid using their services if it's affecting your blood pressure.

Nigerians and lip patriotism.

Nigeria as a geographical space isn't the same to every inhabitants.

Lagosians in mushin and the ones in VI will give different and opposing view of Lagos as a state.

Only an hypocrite will pronounce Lagos a paradise because he/she is confined to VI or plantain Island or...

Calling Nigeria a jungle is not the issue, but is Nigeria a jungle or not? It's a matter of experience.

Will honey loses its sweetness if out of anger someone decide to call it 'shit'?
If Nigeria is a paradise, will it turn into hell because someone call it hell?

So, because oshoala is a recipient of one national award, she should put on fake patriotism; a kinda lip patriotism that doesn't come from the heart. Truly, gift is an enemy of freedom.

Who is unpatriotic between oshoala and the bunch of gluttons in power?
Who is unpatriotic between a law enforcement agent that arrests a scammer just for extortion purpose and a Nigerian calling her country a 'jungle'?
Who is unpatriotic between an advocate of one Nigeria for obviously selfish reason and an inhabitants that called it a 'zoo'?

A patriotic and wise government knows #ENDSARS is just a short line pointing to something deeper. Therfore, It's unwise to focus on the signpost while the sign is left unattended.

Well, Nigeria isn't a jungle yet; it is a jungle in the making, just wait until the bastards are fully grown, everyone will understand.

Very correct

People seem to be comfortable with herd mentality because it appears to be the only platform on which individual identity can be established.

It baffles me when I see people mistaken ignorance for knowledge as a result of polarized thinking; a conditioned view of things. We've been tricked into believing shadows while reality keeps slapping our bugged head.

We've been terribly brainwashed that any assertion of truth, or statement of reality that doesn't support our conditioning is quickly confronted with dead history in the name of protecting mere shadow mistaken for identity.

No amount of revolution or reformation can bring lasting orderliness to human race. if anyone think there is a nation on this planet doing it right today, try and check history or peep into the future (if you can); you'll see all 'nah' surface trimming.

Until every individual soul recongnises its imperfections and see every other soul around as a mirror for indepth reflection (contrary to "I'm right, you're wrong mentality), collective peace will forever remain elusive.

The only education that liberates and worth pursuing is that which dissolves all prejudices, all conditioning and all forms of judgement(religious and non religious). marks you, attaching god to religions doesn't make them better than other forms of prejudices.

Except we abandon the absurd education of judgment and start reasoning, understanding will never appear. And, where there is no understanding, how love 'wan' enter. And, where there is no love, how can God be present. Or is God not love again?

Blaming others is a chronic sign of insecurity.
Judging others is a symptom of ignorance. We're all born and raised into one form of ignorance or the other and if you are lucky to think differently, please don't be intimidated.

This generation is fast approaching its elastic limit (of ignorance), don't be fooled into believing its innovations will make anything better. Think deeply, a robot is a robot, forget the complexity.

A fully blown protest in Nigeria of today might be very difficult to contain, hence, the need to tame the daredevils - it has nothing to do with moral.
Only dare devils can bell the cats in power nowadays, not grammar or decency.

Seeing criminals in government uniforms isn't an accident; it is deliberate. Only lawless people can overturn a lawless government, hence, the (government) need to enforce law through lawless agents since no government can sleep when the masses are awake.

If Nigeria is better today, won't the law enforcement agents arresting protesters (for change) benefit from the same better Nigeria? Why can't they join the protest?

Law enforcement agents have two and one functions. The two is government and masses while the one is personal ambition. They are employed primarily to protect government, the masses are secondary.

Nigeria governments know that all this nation needs to explode for now is a little spark and everything will go boom.
How long can they hold the spark? I don't know.

Certainly, there are envelopes of repressed and unsettled (tribal, religious, political and personal) grievances awaiting a moment of slight disorder. I doubt if any goverment with privileges like ours want such things.

Obviously, no way out of Nigeria present situation can be ripple free (not with the caliber of leeches in power), there is bound to be some kind of unrest; the magnitude of which depends on many factors.

But, if I may ask. What's the use of holding a fart when breathing is becoming difficult? Dead or alive, fart will still find its way out of the intestines and life will still continue.

Well, when time reach, the weak will find strength and the strong will be badly shaken.

There are other books, sacred texts, occultic(secret) knowledge that outdated popular religious books sitting on every tables in our homes.

What oyahkilome was trying to analyze isn't strange if you are the digging type. I read a similar text on an occult website sometimes ago; something related to the messages of the seven thunders, the last of which points at 2030 or thereabout.

The point is, stuffs have gotten badly mixed up, available informations are in fragments, nothing like absolute truth. Religion or no religion, this age is fast approaching a transition just like the previous ages, and it will not be the last.

I hate to say this but you are a fool if you think your religion will give you a better stand when events unfold; your religion and its texts are fragments of something older and older. Moreover, tornadoes do not respect cement brand but firm structures.

There is one truth just as there is one space in which everything floats, there is nothing beyond because all beyonds are within the endless space. It's has no name but if you decide to call it God, don't say more before you start saying nonsense.

Forget about the end of the world
Focus on the development of your soul
You don't need a religion to do that in case you don't have any. Neither is your religion a barrier if you aren't a robot.
Your soul is eternal...
