It is not easy teaching your wife how to drive mehn

Driving is not in built (or in born) like drinking, sucking..graduate to walking etc which do not need to be taught. You have to learn how to drive..
I was driving earlier today when one crase okada man almost made me commit manslaughter, he made a sudden turn into my lane and if not for good reflex , i might have just crushed the silly dude and i will be the bad guy. so this prompted this topic that thank goodness i am a preety good driver (i believe) and i thought about my earlier days driving and who even taught me sef. i realized nobody really taught me how to drive but i learnt by watching, my elder bros were doing me shakara and while in secondary school, what gingered me to really go all out was when i discovered my bebeto younger bro was getting better at driving than me...e no fit happen.

I took the bull by the horn and 15 years later, i teach people (all babes, ain't no dude got time to be teaching a fellow dude )i think i am the best driver in my family now (some of my folks will surely disagree)...Long distance driving gives me joy.


So the question is who taught you how to drive and how was it

....Was speaking with a recently married friend about how it feels to be a married man, he said it was alright, makes him feel like he has to be more responsible with spending money (wifey ain't working yet) but that it seems wifey is giving him less sex now that they are married. T( they ain't planning to have kids yet ) so it kinda validated my point that girlfriends seem to give more sex to guys until you make it official...dude told me when they were still dating, bae was always down for anything but now that they got married...she sometimes claim to be not in the mood (her faithfulness is not in doubt ) but she just seems to be like shebi we don marry, you no fit kill me and my guy na stallion and he doesn't want to start cheating this early in the marriage ( not that he plans to in the future )

I have being taken aback by insults directed at muslims and northerners ( even forgetting that the north has a large christian population) all because of the action of one man, isn't it baffling that prominent muslim bodies have come out to denounce what yunusa did as unislamic, it is not allowed in Islam for marriage to be forced or without parental consent at ANY AGE, else it is considered ZINA (fornication) yet these bigots would rather believe this not to be the case and muslims most love them young when in fact we all know what part(s) of the country you are more likely to get teenage pregnancy, baby factories and all sorts. Again before i fall into the same sorry mindset of bigots, it doesnt make the people of these regions all teenage pregnancy loving, baby factory developers neither doesnt make all of them promiscuous.



My point is we can all do better than attaching any crime or criminal activity to a tribe or religion, There is already too much mutual suspicion in the country, it doesn't need more fuel.

Funny enough, when disasters happen, its the mainland they'l run to 1st for safety.

Don't look at it that way, all over the world there are parts of a city where high rise buildings are more desirable(Think New York Manhattan, downtown Dubai) owing to the premium cost of Land there, The Mainland is more attractive to the industries and factories not forgetting that there are parts of the mainland with high rise buildings too (Bank Anthony Maryland, Opebi axis) ...The mainland is huge, it needs more of Infrastructure to meet the need of its teeming, bursting at the seams population than this kind of buildings which are privately driven anyway.




Maybe i will make (or you should) make a thread about Lagos Mainland to balance the equation....Peace

Now, have u ever noticed that in spite of scarcity, some filling stations will still get fuel even when NNPC doesn't?

They work with illegal refineries who dish out adulterated and badly refined pms. The result of quick wear on ur engines.

These refineries dnt follow standard. They are refined by cooking stolen crude in large drums and large containers. They will then scoop the fuel and the separate the rest (bad refining).

So, Op, there are small refineries that are licensed. Go and ask

Legal Status is always subject to change, I can tell you that China started of bootlegging every idea from the west infuriating the west while their own government allowed it to go on, besides i am not advocating that the illegal refineries should be allowed to continue in their present form, i will suggest you read my post again.

What's with these fruity names anyways.

Orange Island is said to be an improvement on it's elder brothers design and concept, presently being developed by a consortium of Private developers and dredging done by FW Dredging Limited, with these World Class projects presently on going in the centre of Excellence, Lagos is surely on its way to becoming a truly global city.
