Marvel64: Nice one. I strongly agree with the fact provided. I just want to correct one thing you stated based on your thoughts.
I don’t want to state precisely the exact date and time the APLs and postings were completed so I don’t get a few persons implicated but know that everything has been concluded.
They want to ensure that APLs are dispatched to the zonal/field offices without issues and it doesn’t matter to them if it takes a week or two. When that has been done, the Operation Controllers will be sent a notification, informing them about the staff they are expecting and then successful ones will be contacted. So it’s left for some persons on this thread to gather information regarding the location of the APLs through their contacts.
Posting was sorted before typing of APLs. In the beginning, Mr Tata asked the Operation Controllers of zonal/field offices through their heads of cooperate services to provide the total number of staff needed in various divisions( upstream, downstream etc.) which gave rise to 400. During the final selection process, the best hands were selected and posted to where they were needed based on their field of study and other considerations. I mentioned a few things in my previous posts that took place within that period of time. Please posting has nothing to do with the delay and trust me no stakeholder candidate will reject the offer even if he/she is posted to the North East unless they get an offer elsewhere. A supplementary list will be drafted and approved after some have rejected the offer or for other reasons
Everyone should remain calm and remember that nothing good in life comes easy. Peace! Thanks a lot for the update. Just one question though. Does the supplementary list has to go through FCC again? |

shawlar: They actually don’t need to find Alcohol in your blood. I think the ct or ultrasound can show the condition of your liver, so they might be able to determine the level of your drinking ..
I don’t think the tests are discriminatory, they might just be to know your health status and how suitable you are for the job... For eg someone with defective eyesight or so won’t be posted offshore etc Don't mind him o... He can always claim alcohol boosts his morale to carry out his assignments |

Marvel64: Good evening guys,
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Updates!!!
Mr Tata has included other dates for contacting the successful ones and collection of APLs which are June 29th and July 2nd. Reasons were not given but further said that June 25th is still possible.
APLs from HQ will be dispatched to zonal and field offices for pick up. Those that have contacts in these offices should verify tomorrow if it has been received.
Good luck guys!!! Does it mean our portals will not be updated? |

Takon231: Am talking about average score, not aptitude test or interview score. 60% is the officially agreed cut off for MDAs.
Secondly, every state of the federation has a percentage between 2.5%-3.0% representative in any federal establishment and FCT has 1% representative. That is, take FIRS for instance, each state must have a lower limit of 2.5% and upper limit of 3.0% staff out of the total no of staff in FIRS and FCT would have 1%.
Example if firs has a total 1000 staff, Ogun state must have between 25-30 staff and FCT must have 10 staff in FIRS.
Would continue shortly Interesting. So it's all about state representation. |

Tamihawtt: Hello everyone,
I left NL but was lowkey still in your lives somehow...LOL i read here sometimes and been on the watsapp grp as well.
First of all, I'm not here to water down anyone's views or debate about anything. I have read posts over the weekend and been keeping up and heres my take and what i know... The reason we were asked to come for interview with original copies of documents and were 1st accredited before having a one on one with the interviewer is for the sole aim of matching what you say you have to your application as well as be interviewed based on it. The moment the interviewers marked you, their scores where uploaded on the laptop in front of them immediately. GT had points for masters and additional certification but if employed they are employing you solely based on your 1st degree and as such will be placed on level 8(you can confirm this when you receive your APL). I'm saying all these to let you know the marks uploaded is then auto added to test scores and average is the only biz DPR has with you from then on( everything is over to COMPUTER) Over 4k ppl were interviewed so nobody will be checking your 1st degree/wat you applied for to give you APL (all that was the judgement of your interviewer's scoring. They won't score you well if they believe your degree does not match the role you applied for). Everything after interview was based on cross referencing scores against Federal xter policies(computer work i.e snapnet e.g top 5 scores in delta state etc). A whole lot of people had above 80% average so trust me when i say the competition was very stiff. 70% will take the grace of God unless your state ppl had lower average. Western states LOL I'm sure yu guys are like competing on 90% average sef( kidding o) No one, i repeat no one has been contacted yet. They have everything they want from you if not in your portal, they got it from you at interview. Now to the issue of COC. To the best of my knowledge, COC has been issued, i realise people who have contacts at FCC are not aware of this and i can only assume there's also politics in FCC like every other coy. I believ even the committee assigned may not have had a formal deliberation on it i.e they may not have even set their eyes on the list but the COC has been issued. You need to know the list will not even reach FCC if the chairman's list had not be satisfied (be honest with yourself, he def had his own candidates too which will be a list that will also include candidates of those working around him too). You don't have to agree with me pls. I'm only sharing what i know. I believe letters are being typed already and i will know more once work resumes back. Shakur travelled early last week for the muslim hols but i kno he had a group of people working on it and honestly nothing can happen unless he returns after the holidays (sad but true) All is def completed on FCC part, DPR already sorted level placements of EH once the COC was issued, its all left to them to get the APLs ready and contact successfuls. I'm hopeful we would hear from them this month. Pls i don't share what i don't hear directly from the source which is why i don't mention dates unless i hear an affirmative date.
All I've typed is all i know for now(pls don't flood my email, pls don't bombard me with questions) I will get back once i hear anything new after work resumes. No, i don't know if my name is on the list (LOL) Stop worrying about local govt, merit, etc. If its yours, no one can take it from you. Afterall there is nothing you can do anymore aside hope for the best.
Also, its same tamihawtt, i contacted HRtechnique, Acmillan(you never replied) and StanUC yest!
I wish y'all the best! But you people should go on holiday na! Lol Pls can you clarify the bolder? |

HRtechnique: Respect bro... Your opinion is respected...
I just feel like, why not just say; "Good luck to you all" or something like; "Don't put your mind to it".
Personally, I feel that there is no need for people to say negative things to others no matter how realistic and truthful it is because it discourages. There is a better way to put it and I know that it is a lack of a better way that makes us all to say the negative things we say. It does no one no good.
People are aware nepotism is everywhere... But a little encouragement can be very valuable. It's really unfair to others when you are a carrier of negativity.
Let me just keep silent going forward till the main day.
*******
I am a HR professional and I know nepotism exist but I equally know the importance of balancing skill and godfathersim. Who wants to employ a dumb chemical engineer or a dumb HR that will make a mistake and get the organisation sued? So, trust me guys, there would be a balance. Keep faith. Just don't be on the other side of negativity. Ngwoike is just being TOO Frank. People are different. |
