Zutchy:O boy, your friend don hammer! It's a good one from SURE P nevertheless. |
So much progress recorded by Jonathan in Agriculture. Little wonder the Minister of Agriculture, Dr Adeshina won FORBES African Man of the year award. His policies are visible and yielding fruits. The target of this administration is to boost local rice production and ensure that importation of rice which accounts for billions of Naira is reduced. In addition, the minister is establishing silos for storage. It will help to achieve food sufficiency. |
Christmas is approaching so it's expected that the legislators will need to amass much wealth for the festive period. That is why there is a call for impeaacment so as to make sure much money is gotten from lobbying. |
Mandelaguy: It beats me hollow how they manage to hoodwink so many gullible Nigerians into the thinking that Jonathan is clueless in the face of all these tremendous achievements. Are they blind?not even about the new Kano Airport terminal alone. there is the Kano-Maidugri road dualisation that has reached advanced stages under this administration. The North is also a major beneficiaries of dams and irrigation projects by the present Minister of water resource SE. In addition, GEJ has built so many Al majiri schools in the north. He also has new universities in places like Kebbi and Zamfara |
Baba wanted to paint GEJ black and so he was just dishing out both truths, half truths and naked lies. |
ilugunboy: Is this the much anticipated response from the President's camp?I don't think this is all. It may just be a sharp response to the criminal allegations raised by Obasanjo that borders on threat to human life. In the days ahead, I believe more will come. Let's just keep our fingers crossed and watch things unfold. These are indeed interesting times in our polity. |
Baba wants power badly It's too obvious. But this is not the way to go about it. This approach is too petty and counter productive. I advice him to try another trick |
uzomagic: Guy, stop screaming for what you don't know about. I know that road too well. It passes through my village so i know what I'm saying. FRESH AIR THINGS TILL 2019 ![]() |
Built2last: I have been waiting for APC to present their template for rebuilding Nigeria. who knows? i may join politics but all i see are men whose desires for power has gone into desperation. and a desperate man can do anything including this rascality on display.I'm sorry to tell you that you may wait for a long time. APC has no clearly defined agenda in power other than removing GEJ from office. They have no alternative programmes on power, Agric and other ongoing reforms by this administration. Their interest is not the masses but the control of Nigeria and its oil wealth. You could sense it in the desperation with which Tinubu is pursuing these protests. They don't mind renting street urchins to join them in protest and pose as Anambra indegenes. That is the height of desperation. |
Arobam: Mtchewwwww!! This is no case. If I am Sule Lamido, I will get out of this case and even earn more popularity with it. It's simple. Just issue a press conference and tell the world that Jonathan is persecuting you for your struggle for democracy and change of leadership in 2015. exactly, na true you talk bro. |
diva_tosin: I wonder what our Governors do with money? he is playing G7 politics with the money |
Arobam: Mr Man, I don't know where you get your facts from but all I know is that they are fundamentally faulty.I seriously agree with you. |
I have looked at it critically and arrived at the irresistible conclusion that all the talk about Jonathan and corruption is far over exaggerated to demonise the president. Take subsidy issue for instance. President Jonathan himself initiated the moves to stop subsidy so as stop massive corruption that has characterized its management for ages. This move was misunderstood and protests sponsored by the very cabal who feed fat on Petroluem subsidies.Eventually, they(cabal) had their way. it is only a sincere president with a motive to fight corruption that will take concrete steps to end the subsidy regime. Even when that bid partially failed, President Jonathan rose to the occasion and probed those involved through the IMOUKEHEDE committee. He did not stop at mere setting up committees, he took it a notch higher by prosecuting all those indicted in the report. He is the first president to do so in Nigeria and we urge the judiciary to expedite trial on all oil subsidy suspects |
asala1: Bros if you are frequent on that route, you will know that work has been going on there for close to 12years now. The pace of the work there is quite slow. Maybe in the next 10years they complete the project. Don't give any credit to SURE-P for that project o, the contract was awarded and work has started there when GEJ was still a Deputy GOVERNOR.Mr Naysayer, why must you prophesy doom over the ongoing construction. You need to ply through that road to know the level of work going on there. It will not be stalled like before because FG is using SURE P funds to resume work on the road. |
I love Maku. He has a way of hitting the nail on the head without mincing words.enough of pampering. Let the truth be told, ASUU is playing politics with this strike. It's all about 2015 all clothed in the garb of concern for education sector. Where have they been all this while before coming to ask for 3 trillion? Why are state Universities on strike too? ASUU is now a political party. |
Those of us in the north central zone will prefer president Goodluck Jonathan to continue for so many reasons. 1. he represents the voice of minorities (2) he has engaged many of our sons into influential positions. (3) he has commissioned landmark projects like the GEREGU power plant. (4) he is most likely to handover to someone from the north central in 2019. I support him. |
It's difficult not to credit GEJ with the outstanding performances of super eagles recently. He has demonstrated true Interest in their progress. He ensures that their welfare is taken adequate care of. No more stories and controversies about match allowances and bonus. The players are happy. |
A-ZeD:If you have been watching and following the tour, you will understand that it goes beyond just showing people about projects. Maku takes time to ask questions about the cost of the project and the quality assurance. It is not just enough to execute projects. The people deserve a right to know at what cost and quality because it's their money. Any sincere person who has followed the tour will be fair enough to admit that Maku has been tough on contractors handling Federal Givernment projects. I have seen him on TV lambasts contractors for undue delays on execution of contracts which is very key. Even some road projects have been revoked as a result of this tour. So it's not something Oshiomhole should play politics with. The delegation has pressmen from every media organisation hence the size |
My own list is as follows: 1. Nasir El Rufai ( for all his lies) 2. Dino Melaye (for all his grandstanding) 3. Buhari ( for his bigotry) 4. APC (for mediocrity) 5. Lai Mohammed (for propaganda and blackmail) 6. GBAWE (for legendary stupidity on Nairaland) 7. DEMDEM (for lying as a proffession) 8. Fani kayode(for being a shameless yesterday man) 9. SAHARAREPORTERS (destination of falsehood) 10. Tinubu (for being a mischievous rogue) |
PDP has a strong presence here in Kogi and cannot be dislodged easily by any other party whether APC or CPC. There's no need arguing over this, presidential elections are not won by noisemaking. It is by national spread of structures. I'm sure If Jonathan gets PDP nomination, he will win here in Kogi state. |
Nonnyz: Yea, the Good Governance Tour was indeed a good idea and truly a revelation to the many activities going on in various states, both the finished ones and the ones in progress.Say what you know. Governor Jang has done a lot. I stay in jos. We never had it this good under Dariye. The only problem Jang has is insecurity but beyond that he is a performer. You need to see the road he constructed from jos north to south via airport road. Rukuba road Satelite market and overhead bridge. 44, 000 FIFA standard stadium etc. All his jobs are built with good quality and will stand the test of time. |
Arobam: The person who wrote this deserves to be flogged. What does he take Nigerians for? Gullible fools or something?Exactly my thoughts too. You could just sense his frustrations in the report. Maybe he was expecting to reap a gold mine from the tour hence his disappointment that Maku is not doling out "Monetised goodwill messages" as usual. These journalists are just mercenaries. I pity them. |
Elueme: Al Makura should be taken up on this revelation of 66 billion naira in 16 months as federal allocation. I remembered vividly the governor saying he had never received more than 2.2 billion naira / month since the inception of his government. This new stance reveals an average of 4.2 billion naira per month.Going by this revelation, Gov Al Makura spends close to 90% of his budgetary allocation in recurrent expenditure. Very frivoulous |
Zutchy: Most of the major projects I am seeing so far are all FG projects, wait is this not the same governor that wants to build an airport,he has not accomplished much at all even Suswam was better than this, this guy should not fall Buhari and CPC hand for them o.I don't see the Al Makura making it again for second term. He has failed woefully to meet the expectations of the common man who voted him into office. People are complaining bitterly in Lafia. Instead of him to focus on bad roads in the state, he prefers to build a new State Assembly complex and flaunt it as an achievement. He is just playing this politics because of the predominance of PDP members in the House but then he should have balanced it up with people oriented projects. |
Jarus: ^^^^I see you have unbanned some and left some. Pls finish it up |
The hall looks filled to the brim. People are really following this stuff. |
Day 1 and we are already beginning to see and commend projects already,Govt is working and I shall continue to shout it from the rooftop,at least this tour which happens to be an initiative of the Min of Information is going to be a tool and a means of enlightenment to the people,at least we shall all see the facilities beign put in place by Govt for our use live and direct and not plenty talk again. |
Zutchy: Too much marginalization in the system, they need to revise the revenue sharing formula. My friend,as you can see from the ictures up above,Governor Jang and the FG have gotten a pass mark in their developmental strides in plateau state,it is true that plateau does not get what some other states do,but in this age what everybody is talking about is how to increase your internally generated revenue and not how you keep on waiting for the FG handouts, this is the 21st century my friend, please no more talk of marginalization, instead give kudos to whom it is deserving. |
They said GEJ is not working but only in Plateau alone, he has built a new permanent site for jos university teaching hospital with a modern equipped dialysis centre. He has refurbished a GOWON dam in plateau. He has built a power sub station in Makeri, He has constructed a new road through a blasted rock to link kaduna with jos. |
I'm laughing in Ibibio. Nothing wey this Ondo election no go cause. . See as ACN people wey dey attack Bros JONA for Salami matter don they scatter themselves .E be like film for my eye. ![]() Odumakin dey attack LIE Mohammed? I no believe. I know say one day, monkey go enter market e no go return. At times, when we see a president act in a certain way or remain adamant over some issues, we may not know the background info at his disposal that informed that stance. See am ![]() See as Odumakin who dey provoke for Salami matter don they talk true. She said she initially joined in the protest for Salami's recall but pulled out when she noticed that Baba Tinubu really bribed Salami for those verdicts. TRUE CONFESSIONS I no fit shout Abeg! When you add to it Tinubu's remark that he gave Mimiko millions of pounds stolen from Lagos taxpayers, then you know Salami has been lying like his brother Lie Mohammed all the while. SALAMI GET CASE TO ANSWER FOR SEASON 2 |
Till we remove this subsidy of a thing. We will be going around in circles. Nothing tangible will be achieved in the oil industry. NNPC, PPPRA, CUSTOMS, DPR, and oil marketers will be making money at the expense of the people. No true investor will come into build refineries. The oil cabal despite the fight and prosecutions they face now will continue to hold us all to ransome. |
I'm not surprised by their lies. I lost hope in them when they exclusively reported that First lady Patience Jonathan is behind the Dana air crash. They lied that the airspace was blocked due to the first lady's presence at the airport. It turned out to be a wicked lie. None of such happened. I read Simon Kolwawole's piece on bacpage of Sunday THISDAY few days later and he made mockery of that fallacious story by Saharareporters. |
