PRESIDENT GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN IS FAST BECOMING OUR BEST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY. this man has a human face, a charisma that defies every stony hearts, humility personified, a meek disposition, an unassuming personality. A statesman to the core. Be sure, my president. You have my vote again and again. The north central will vote for you. We have been wearing this shoe of religious/ ethnic strife and we know where it pinches. We understand your challenge at the moment. We in the north central have lived with this challenge for long . The north central believes that you represent an epitome of our victory over this challenge. You are the voice of the minorities long oppressed and suppressed. We will get there. Its just a matter of time. They have fed this monster to hunt you but they will end up in the belly of this monster. |
This short man can be a clown sometimes ooo. When the soldiers were deployed to his state, every one of them was screaming, now they are rejoicing and showing appreciations to GEJ after abusing him and Jega...... Thereby going back to their own vomit. God bless you Mr President for putting them to shame |
Sahara and lies, how can FG bring out 1billion naira for NBA election, and when did Daudu that was very hostile to the administration begin to get close to the government he was so against? Abeg make una dey check una report before una start to dey blabb for here........rubbish news and poster. |
dayokanu: We all know the antics of Retardeen Jonathan in Ekiti and Bayelsa stateis it forbidden for you to appreciate good things? GEJ has done well and deserves some applause, so if you don't wish to do that, you can as well shut down you device and sleep......big ups to Mr. President. |
That is a sign of a good and committed leader.GEJ you are truly the leader of our time. |
GEJ has dne so well, on this last election. The 3,500 soldiers deployed Edo state was really worth it. Nice strategy, and good work our President. We believe in you, to make Nigeria a better place, I hope the enemies of this government can say positive things on this singular action or are they still blind to notice transformation in its full capacity? God bless GEJ |
This is a classical case of what transformation agenda can cause. Massive revelation and probes everywhere. this is a good sign that things are getting better. What was hidden before is now being exposed to the public. |
dedeike: Inspite of all the efforts of most Hired agents on this forum to confuse issues, I will always try to remain on the path of facts and truth hence my resolve to treat all the issues raised by Dino one by one.I will do this with all civility , decency and proof while expecting that the hired agents will once again resort to the laughable 40 laptop theory. . Facts no dey lie.confirm bros. |
Dino has always been against GEJ, and I do t even know who appointed him as executive of the NGO, how can a corrupt person lead such group? The reasons I see here are not substantial enough and I see no truth in them, cos GEJ is not in position to sack Lawan, what has the house done about it. Dino should get some rest. |
Alxmyr: If this is true, Mr. President earn my respect for this.this can not happen any where in the world, I admire GEJs humility for royalty, and people will always humble him. |
Piddo: It is not yet Uhuru for Nigerians. At face value, this appears a laudable project but has anyone bothered to think how the investors will make their money back? You and I will pay for it for over many decades to come. Upon completion, the FG will ban importation of petroleum products and Nigerians will have to pay the rate dictated by the "investors" for their product. If only the FG was honest about fighting corruption, fixing the nations 4 refineries would have been best for Nigerians but now we have invited people in with billions of dollars and surely, its no charity!! Nigerians will pay dearly for it in the end.Oga, the essence of bringing in investors, is to stop importation and thereby reducing and controlling the price of this product. |
Ibrahim mr fish: D irony is,it's u idiots dat are d hypocrate in dis issue.U guys just hate he 4 no reason, just because he is 4m d north.my brother, let's be sincere to ourselves. |
Mallam is a chief sponsor, and so therefore a terrorist. I have been saying this thing since and evidence from his tweets shows that this man has something up his sleeves. Nigeria should do something about this man fast ooo,so because government no reach am now he was to kill nigerians and cause problems. |
@Betatins, Don't always be in a haste to criticize. Take time to go thru the post and arm yourself with facts before you write. It saves you much embarrassment. From what I read, DEDEIKE did not write that Jonathan set up NEITI. Perhaps, the English you failed to grasp is that "The Fg sponsored or funded" NEITI to carry out investigations into the sector . |
@Evilbrain. Your brain is indeed evil and lacking in substance. You said "...its an established fact that well over a trillion naira was stolen..." who established the fact? You? Pls be factual. Enough of these gossips. |
dedeike: The above topic represents a subjective analysis of govts genuine efforts to ensure local content in our petroleum sector. This is the burden that the present Minster has come to grapple with even before her assumption of office last year. Her drive is to divest much of foreign control of oil exports thus bringing her in conflict with the IOC's. The author of the piece admitted this much in the fourth paragraph viz: " Industry sources say the number of companies selling oil increased dramatically after Jonathan's election as PART OF A STRATEGY TO BROADEN LOCAL PARTICIPATION IN OIL SECTOR.." This no doubt is a policy initiative deserving of commendation. The article now tried to discredit this good policy on account of the activities of those who engage in age long oil bunkering. It read " ... oil thieves were offering mouth watering offers $10 m discounts to take the commodity of their hands..." Now the big question is, did oil bunkering business in Nigeria start today? The answer is No. The second question then is, is the relevant govt authority in support of these bunkering and oil theft? The answer to this question is captured in the seventh paragraph viz; "...state oil company NNPC has placed a SCAM ALERT on its website warning of unsavory characters purporting to be bona Fide staff of NNPC or contractors to NNPC or purchasers of Nigerian crude oil or contractors to Nigerian govt..." does this in anyway suggest complicity by the authorities? The answer is No. The article went further to exonerate Diezani by hinting of the efforts by govt to entrench hitherto non existing processes for participation. Paragraph 10 reads thus: "... One recent step that has been taken is the creation of high barriers for entry for participation in NNPC's 2012-2013 term allocations..." The article went ahead to hint that the Fg sponsored NEITI to do an investigation of the sector( thus reinforcing GEJ's claim on media chat on Sunday that he had long before the House probe taken steps to probe the oil sector) . NEITI submitted its report in January and revealed that billions of oil revenue are being lost to theft prompting the MINISTER TO INVITE MALLAM NUHU RIBADU to oversee our oil revenue. Last Tuesday, GEJ sacked the NNPC Directors as part of govts continuous sanitisatisation of the sector. Ordinarily, these were matters that previous administrations failed to probe. Bunkering has always been good business in the history of Nigeria. But this govt is taking a bold step to handle it while ensuring that there is local content in our crude oil export sector. GEJ and Diezani deserves our maximum support.well said. Pls educate these f.ools who don't knw jack about the sector but keep ranting for Diezani's sack |
The only thing he has done wrong, is to expose the bad eggs and bring good governance to the people of Nigeria. |
Somebody should tell this man to either choose between pastor work and politics. He is just being very controversial. "To bankrupt Nigeria sermon" who knows the kind of falsehood he would hve dished out to his congregation? |
Who carry this foolish professor come out again? haba! Let him go and face Ghana and leave us alone. Who is he? Whose interest is he serving? Is he a Proffessor on Nigerian Studies or what? It is Ghanians that are broken hearted and battered 100 times! F.ool |
olafolarin: Unlike you, i read and consult wide before commenting.Mr. Consultant, East-West road had long been abandoned due to paucity of funds dating back to Obj days. Agreed. But this administration has remobilised for its construction under the 2012 budget. So work is resuming at the road. Secondly, I must draw your attention to the construction of a sister road that the govt has been able to do within one yr: Kolo-Nembe-Brass, Benin-Ore-Sagamu stretching over 262.5 km under reconstruction by Reynolds co etc. Apapa-Oshodi with drainage works and expansions. trailer park. A dedicated bridge from Liverpool roundabout to Tin can ports, Auchi -Okene awarded to setraco, Ibadan-Ilorin dualisation, Onitsha-Owerri completion, Afikpo-Okigwe, Zaria-Funtua-Gusau covering over 101 km, Kano-Maidugri dualisation, Kaduna Byepass, Keffi-Akwanga-Lafia etc. I do not come from Abia state and do not know about the greenfield refineries though. |
EPOMA: True, in Nigeria and especially this GEJ government, it is all paper talk, na so godswill built 12 billion dollar gas plant in akwa ibom in his first year.rubbish, Oyibo no go talk till the day it starts workingpessimists. What is paper talk in it? Shell is not owned by govt, mind you? So Shell owes you no obligation whatsoever to set up a gas plant. If you understand this, you will appreciate that Shell did not just come to play to the gallery in order to impress you. It is not FG's money nor the state govt's money, it is shell money and they can decide not to go ahead with the project. We seek to applaud the FG For rather creating a conducive environment for this investment to come up. The project did not just spring up on its own accord. It was a product of the recent drive of the Ministry to increase electricity tariffs in Nigeria. The strategy of govt is that since gas remains a major challenge to power supply, it will be nice to encourage private sector investments in gas. The private sector insisted that the present tariffs must be reviewed upwards so that they can recover their investments. Tariffs were increased on june1, and today SPDC has come to build power plants in IMO state. |
1025: sacking is not the right thing to do when ppl steal public funds. we have law courts and jails. why is jonathan not jailing these fellow criminals and discourage intending criminals? all these are jokes. these are all planned deals. oga, una don chop enough, abeg make we compensate some other ppl who helped us during the campaigns.who told you they were sacked for stealing money? Abi you just sit down in your parlor and conjure up reasons for the sack? Pls be more factual. Don't engage in pedeststrian gist. There could be many reasons for the sack other than what you think. Competence is a key issue in this administration. If you re not capable, you will be kicked out. GEJ is placing a high premium on his reforms so he is ever ready to make changes where necessary. Secondly, your innuendo on the first lady is an outdated line which failed to avail its initial originators, so pls invent a more serious allegation. |
Goodluck Jonathan doesn't want to break the country. I believe he wants Nigeria to remain as one united and indivisible country under him. But the problem lies with our Brothers from the core North. It is their present desperation to grab power at all cost that will disintegrate this country to their utmost detriment. Nothing else spells doom for the unity of this country than the activities of Boko Haram. These bombings are creating acrimony and hatred between the south and the North. This is exactly how the Tutsi/Hutsi genocide began in Rwanda but I pray we won't get to that. That is why I support David Mark's call on Northern leaders to caution their kinsmen in our collective interest. |
THOSE OF US IN NORTH CENTRAL ARE BETTER WITH JONATHAN ANYDAY. |
Here is a very good media for the loud mouths who have been blaming GEJ and calling him all kind of names to express themselves with their solutions of what they would have done, if they were Mr. President. That is, if their thick and destructive brains can allow them to think or make a meaningful decision. May God help you all |
No be small jamb question ooo. Does this entail any time she comes for the weekend or Wat? |
bola4dprec: security agents are not capable of discharged their duty despite increment of salary all is well I pity Badluck Jonathan clueless leaderWhat has GEJ got with this topic? |
Thank God for your life, it's a strange world my people. So be grateful for each breath. |
Bravo Mr. President, you have spoken well. We believe in you. |
I was happy to hear the president talk about the power sector reforms, he also justified his trip to Brasil. I rate the chat very high. |
On wealth creation, I salute his efforts towards initiating the YOU WIN project. On the power sector, good to attract investors but they should hurry up and ensure we have steady power supply soon. On security, I like wot he said about the sack of Azazi. There's need to change our security heirarchy when necessary. It was also good to know that he had commenced a private probe into NNPC even before the National Assembly. I can't wait to see NNPC deregulated. Generally, it wasn't a bad outing at all |
Nice one President. Its our desire to make sure that all Nigerians, Boko haram inclusive, turn out good citizens and contribute to national development. But govt cannot discuss with a faceless terrorist group. |
