Hmmm interesting. Just make sure he keeps up a healthy life style.

What happened in the refugee camps?
in the refugee camp, many people give the same testimony how God save there life, they pass in front of the Hausa Muslims without being notice. there was a woman who went for evangelism when the crisis broke out, at the midst of this killers she pass and they did not see her. my dad was at home when they enter our house, if they burn our house , its will affect our neighbor ( who are all Muslims) so instead they pack our property out, but you know the funniest thing ? my dad was sitting and watching them, but they did not see him . he stand up from were he was sitting , immediately they saw the sit were he was sitting , they saw the sit and take it out, burn it together with the rest property.

this is something only God could do, what about. those Christians that lost their life ? why God did not save them ? I believed God knows those that are his own. if you had experience deadly crisis, I tell you the truth, you will not doubt the miraculous power of God.

Christianity Etc › How Do We Worship God In Spirit And Truth ? by malvisguy212(op): 6:07am On Jun 09, 2019
As a leader, when you are truthful to your people, when answering yes or no, you don't need a jotter to take notes because there is nothing to remembered.

Truth extends to encouragement. If you speak a
positive truth about all people, you never have to avoid anyone.

Truth extends to implications. If you refuse to give false impressions, you never feel the need to cover up.

It is better to be divided by truth than to be united in error. It is better to speak the truth that hurts and then heals, than falsehood that comforts and then kills.

what is truthful ?

There are truths, there is being truthful and then there is the Truth. Truth is a person; KNOWING Him (not "about” Him) opens the door to Truth and becoming Truth-full.

John 14:16
“I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life; no one comes to the Father but by Me”

John 4:23
“A time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”

We see then that to be truthful is MORE than being full of facts, correct knowledge, good information, right doctrines, correct articles of faith or creeds. Jesus' words and deeds were not His own, they were from the Father. It is impossible to be truly honest with ourselves, others and God without being full of “THE Truth.” Jesus was a human being, yet He was
not full of Himself. He expressed the Father, not Himself. He emptied Himself that He might be full of the Father's words, will, ways, and works. “God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself.”

Our touchstone for Truth, must not be our creeds, articles of faith, confessions, or our church leaders opinions. Nor should our touchstone be our Bible translation. “You search the Scriptures for in them you 'think' you have life. But they testify of Me that you might have life.” No,our touchstone for truth must be Truth Himself. Nothing else will do,not even our understanding of our Bible translation.

Dear precious brothers and sisters, let us take some time today to see if indeed the adversary has fertile ground in which to plant his lies which prevent us from manifesting God's glory which comes from being filled with His Spirit and His Truth.

It is truthfulness that makes one transparent. And it is this transparency that will allow the light of the Spirit to shine through us.

happy Sunday.

Or can your god do things that completely defy the laws as we know them?
my dad was healed of hypertensive heart disease . I saw the medical report with my two eyes, one night, he sang song of worship and praise to God until he fell asleep, he dream that he was vomiting , the nest morning he claim his healing. weeks later he went for medical check up and behold the disease wasn't there .

nature is speaking to you atheist, is against you. atheists will want Genesis 1:1 say in the beginning it's JUST HAPPENED . if its not Miracle , is it wise to believed " it just happened" ?

tintingz:
How does freewill work here when God has declared everything?
well, the concept of freewill , predestination and foreknowledge is one concept that will remain mystery to man, I believe a finite man try to understand an infinite being is an uphill task, we are only to understand what God has reveal about himself.there are dimension of life that is beyond our understanding. I am not trying my best , I am only explaining what I know about God.

freewill , predestination and foreknowledge are being practice in our everyday life if we pay close attention to our life, take for examples in a movie, If we watch a movie we see the frames in sequence,is as if we know what the end will be but we will not want to imposed our will on this movie character . that's all. thank you.

in Isaiah the Bible say before the earth was created God has already declared the end from the beginning.

yes.
Christianity Etc › Re: Free Will And Freedom From Sin by malvisguy212: 12:35pm On Jun 06, 2019
LordReed:
It doesn't matter how I became a slave, a slave a slave. That implies I have no power to remove myself from that position or else I wouldn't still be a slave does it not?
but in the context of freewill and the Bible, you have the choice to remove yourself . I mean your claimed here say otherwise to reality.

Christianity Etc › Re: Free Will And Freedom From Sin by malvisguy212: 12:08pm On Jun 06, 2019
LordReed:
No that is not the question. The question remains am I a slave to sin to which your bible says yes I am so then if i am a slave how do i have free will?
you are a slave to sin because of the DECISIONS you made, did God made the decision for you ? that why in my first post , I say ”? freewill Is not the liberty to do whatever one wishes, with no accountability attached.“Free will” is simply the ability to choose between options. To make decisions between “right” and “wrong.”To choose to "do,” or “not do.”

LordReed:
How am I free if I am a slave?
the question is , what is Good for me ? is sin Good for me ? sin and righteousness, which is to RULE over my life ? notice in verse 14 what Paul say " "Sin shall not be MASTER OVER YOU , for you are not under law but under grace." This is a promise: "Sin shall not be master over you."in other word righteousness shall be MASTER OVER YOU.
Christianity Etc › Re: Free Will And Freedom From Sin by malvisguy212: 11:11am On Jun 06, 2019
LordReed:
Christians say the God gave us free will yet their bible says

Romans 6:18
And, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.

How could we have had free will if we needed to be set free from sin? Doesn't it not suggest that we weren't free? If we were free what then is freedom from sin? Why do I need to be freed if I am already free?

On another level how are Christians free from sin if they still sin? Is this freedom false? Just a pipe dream?
this is what I called Bible ILLITERACY.
Christianity Etc › Re: Free Will And Freedom From Sin by malvisguy212: 11:09am On Jun 06, 2019
LordReed:
Do you sin?
freewill is a CHOICE to sin or not to sin. what happened when a man is addicted to sin ? he is a SLAVE to sin , which Jesus came to set us FREE .

freewill is NOT ability to do whatever you want, freewill is simply the ability to CHOSE between options " right and wrong" . what is God will ? God will is for everyone to get save, so when you are a slave to sin ( wrong choice) Christ came to set you free.

Christianity Etc › Re: CAN President Ayokunle Asked To Resign Within 7 Days by malvisguy212: 10:45am On Jun 05, 2019
when Jesus interpreted Christianity, is primary aim is not just believed, but to be LIVED .as the hymns say ."
"We make God’s love too narrow by false limits of
our own."

Jesus saw what happened to those who sat in the seats of authority and understood that redemption could never come from them.Compromising with temporal powers can never Lead to redemption. The Churches have accepted the immoral code of the state, instead of insisting that the state follow the
ethical principles of Jesus.
