@Manie, do you consider the ongoing merger of some Flourmills subsidiaries a good prospect for their stock price? The price of their shares has been trending southward for a while now. Same goes for CADBURY. In view of your advice that learners like us should consider underpriced (as opposed to low priced) stocks, do you consider Flourmills and Cadbury undervalued at their current prices? Thanks for your guide.

I think you should exercise patience with Flour Mills because I am of the opinion that you can get it cheaper. The merger of the subsidiaries ought to be beneficial to the shareholders on the long run. I dont have information about Cadbury.

The New club that offered me a contract, on my first day at the training ground i meet other players who gave me a full information about the Club,i was told they dont pay bonuses (school lesson money) and they dont play F.A matches (GCE exam) when i was about thinking of what to do because am still with my contract documents, then my former coach from Laliga in spain called me that he has increase my monthly pay and also the Club has qualify to play Club World Cup (JAMB Exam Centre ). I have to Tell my New coach am going back to Laliga.

Did you actually resign from Laliga, because I dont understand why you were called. With what your statement that means you are back at Laliga and you also have home lesson that fetches additional 50k.

What's your thought on FBNH now at this price level and business performance. I think FBNH is not the right machine. Speaking in respect to their business performance currently.

It will be good for the company to do away with the current holding structure. The performance of the company the management of Onasanya is quite diappointing. Thank God Onasanya is forced to resign and a number of directors will go with him at the end of the year. The cost of mainting the top management of the bank is about the highest in the industry. The company is also highly exposed to the Oil and Gas sector. Considering all the problems facing the company, I am confident that FBNH has seen her worst days. I am sure that the new team that will pilot the affairs of the company come January 2016 will take the company to great heights. The company may be having problem, but I think the current price is good and could be better.

You have the power to change the broker. The investor can also subscribe to cscsonline for easy monitoring of his or her investment.

Exchanges all over the world, when there is a negative announcement, big money exits. We can try to act and think patriotic but fund managers, foreign investors and other big money won't. They have a duty to preserve or conserve investments if they can not grow it. The market reaction is an aggregation of, not the number of investors but of funds. If the foreign investors and fund managers that control the market sees the JP Morgan's announcement as a red flag, please what do you expect? They would rather listen to the likes of JP Morgan than CBN's rebuttal. The effect would only be tempered if "patriotic" domestic investors control an appreciable percentage of our stock market or if an appropriate practical step is taken (example is what happened in China).

If you are for short term, you should articulate your goals and take actions that reflect those goals. Take cognizance of news of this kind. Is it not the same news (cabinet announcement and policy statements) though positive that some are waiting on to herald another bull run? Not saying there would be a bull run after the much awaited cabinet appointments though. So a positive news is to a bull what a negative news is to a bear. Na small money no dey bother about the outcomes of meetings of MPC, Federal reserve and any other policy maker. I am on alert. I have a target for this year abeg. By God's grace, I'll get there.

For long termers, a saner way to invest, hold your peace.

No vex for my emphasis o, returned home early and took a nap. To sleep for night dey hard when that happens.

By His grace we are making good money this year.

Would u advice such a person to proceed, seeing that the value of that 12m might be less after 1 year?

How many houses does he have? How did he get the fund used in building the house? Did he inherit the house? How much does he need for the business? How long has he being doing the business? I will not advise him to sell the property except if he has other houses and his tenants are not paying their rents as at when due.

It is very possible considering the ability of UBA to make earning per share of between N1.85k to N2.00 at the end of the year.

It is not a matter of going below 80k, International Schools like Avi Cenna have their own salary structure, the most important thing is for him or her to be the chosen applicant from the multitude of people who will be invited for the interview. As a matter of fact Avi Cenna paid up to N1 million per annum to new teachers in 2007 which is about 83k per month. It is a great priviledge to work in a School like Avi Cenna even for a lesser pay because the name of the School on your CV opens doors. With the right international certifications some Nigerian teachers are earning dollars in Dubai, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Australia etc.

Are you currently working? What is your career plan? Do you love children? Can you effectively teach children? The guy who made second class upper from Ilorin crossed over from a Secondary School to a Primary School because of about 50% difference in salary, six years down the lane his former colleagues who got the required certifications and set track records are earning higher than him in various International Secondary Schools all over the country.

For u to be shortlisted as a class teacher for primary class meant dat ur qualificatns wasn't good enough (may be ure NCE,OND,HND holder) I mean no disrespect.

Concerning d interview,prepare an interesting topic meant for a primary scl pupils. Since u were askd to prepare a lesson note,surely ure goin to do micro-teaching. Forgt about d test,it can come from any angle................relax,believe in ur ability.

I disagree with you, there are 5 University graduates in the Primary section of my former School, one of them made second class upper from Ilorin. The Head Teacher of the school between 2004 and 2006 was a Phd holder. Teachers in the primary school section of a big school in Lagos Mainland earn and make more money than their Secondary school counterpart because the primary section is the cash cow of that educational organisation. Another big school in Ikeja have Canadian, British and American Phd holders and Professors as the top management staff.

I think the business strategy and sucessional plan of Dantata Family Businesses is worthy of study by every Nigerian business-person and enterprenuer. The Dantata businesses have successfully navigated the Nigerian and West African business terrain for about a 120 years. The current managers of the family businesses and investments are the 4th generation of the Dantatas. How many African businesses can continue to thrive 60 years after the death of the founder. I am not surprised that the current richest man in Africa is a great grandson of this great man called Dantata.

This is rubbish! Children like this end up being ''spoilt brats''. As for me when i am old i will not give my children any of my companies because i know what i suffered to get to where i am today. They will have to suffer like children of the poor to know that life is not a bed of roses!

You need to change your mindset, people who reason like this hardly succeed nor wise enough to build and bequeth legacy and weath to their children. Instead of giving their children a head-start in life, they become a burden to their struggling children when such parents are old and retired. Rather than being a burden to your Children, wont you prefer to be a blessing to them because of the discipline, right values, legacy and tangible wealth which you have bequethed to them.

Read "The Makers and Making of Nigerian Private Enterprise" by Tom Forrest. As at 1930 Dantata was biggest depositor in the bank that metamophosed into First Bank, he was also the richest West African as at time.

You can get that from your sibblings, parents, neighbours, class mates, friends or church members rather than soliciting for funds from people who hardly know you on a faceless forum.

As a matter of fact, I resigned in 2014 as a result of query letters given to me because of the performance of my students in externals exams, was also queried because according to the Board if I had done the required supervision on my teachers and students the results would have been better.
