mendes911:Focus on what brought you to this thread. He is not the only one that makes claims that the market disregards. In fact, we all do. Once an individual gives a pick that turns out right, there's every tendency for him to think he is infallible. Chest beating is largely a human phenomenon. Even a dead clock is right twice in a day. ![]() Let's just accommodate one another. I hate to read abuses and insults on this thread. Let's leave that for the teenagers in other sections of Nairaland abeg ![]() |
I am tipping UAC-PROP to record one of the highest returns this year. Management has taken a bold decision to venture into retail/residential space against the luxury and commercial segment which is experiencing a downturn. The FGN is focusing on mass housing schemes in many states in the country in partnership with Private investors (the likes of UAC-PROP). The focus will not be on the loss declared in their financial report in achieving this gain. Disclaimer: Took position at about N1.89 and would therefore not encourage anyone to take position now. Do your DD, then watch for a pullback |
Cadillac15:This should pave way for Dangflour. It is a necessary precusor to the much anticipated rally in my opinion. |
mendes911:Please you guys (Peterichy inclusive) should desist from this attitude of attacking personalities here. It is not encouraged here. |
May&Baker on steroids. |
Princkez:FBNH is going to cause a disruption in price ranking of banks at this rate. Access and UBA have slowed but FBNH is still surging. What a year ![]() |
Looks like the Bulls are tiring |
Cadillac15:Sincerely, I don't expect Q2 margins to be fantastic. Q3 is actually the game changer. According to IFRS, NPL can't be reclassified as performing until after two consecutive quarters of performance. FBN management disclosed that payment obligations were met in Q1 from one of their major exposure and that they expected same for Q2. It is in Q3 that this is taken off NPL and added to profit and loss account. That said, I think the market reaction is premature in the sense that nothing is concrete yet. However, the market thinks it over-punished FBNH and seems to be eager to make amends. I won't be surprised if FBNH trades in double digits this year. Of Dangflour, talk of an interim dividend is a NO for me. I don't see a company just getting out of the woods paying interim dividend from negative retained earnings. When the going was good, the company never paid interim, why now? I expect the market to reward the stock for consistent improvement in earnings by Q2 sha. A 50% reward in price is not impossible subject to price of Dangsugar. I feel it will trail Sugar this year at least. Disclosure: I'm closely watching Dangflour playing the FBNH route first. Don't buy based on this basis. Consult your investment advisers. |
Princkez:His approach is clearly better. You can't ask people yo buy a stock without backing it up with reasons. Please always give points to consider. That way, you encourage individuals to embark on an intellectual quest to verify your claims and the quality of this thread is improved. Picks are encouraged...... Let's just take it a step further with points. You'll observe that TA guys do this by default. ![]() |
I just need a stock that can give me like 30-50% this month and I would be satisfied with my gains for this year. ![]() #Olivertwist |
veecovee:Wonder not. No credible source. You determine worth after settling obligations. |
BullBearMkt: Maradona. Professional answer much better than prophesying what sentiments revealed sha. |
So much confusion right now. Hold, Sell,Buy Bullbear, fxuser, yok abeg torchlight this matter. |
Kashif:Oga, this is not the time to be confused or make mistakes o. Click the drop-down arrow against the stock symbol of interest, select "Market Order>> By Price". Always Always do this |
flexshop:Jokes apart, I need FBNH to slow down. I got some more money to throw at FBNH. If Dancem too is on a 2m bid, then we should expect the index to shoot above 31,000. ![]() |
locodemy:The number you're calling is busy, please call back later. ![]() |
Which stock returned the highest in May. June is here........which stock is going to surprise the market? #Edited |
OBAGADAFFI:Some running away won't be wise this season |
Coolcash1:Recent pull-backs get as e be sha |
UAC-PROP ![]() |
OBAGADAFFI:Investment plans differ and market is unpredictable |
ORAGBON:Disappeared Who are these fellows?Pa Emma, what was the gist from the AGM abeg? |
Mother of all bids on UAC-PROP.......I think we should watch the UACN family |
veecovee:Afraid? Nah. Just not necessary. I do not intend to shame anyone, so to what end? I come in peace |
veecovee:Someone also advised whoever was holding FBNH to sell and use the proceeds to buy Dangflour. This was before the FBNH rally started sef. Now you can actually partake of both worlds. Stop making comments like you are an Oracle, they won't listen. |
N1.5B spent on GTB and counting. These MIB (foreign portfolio investors, Pension funds, institutional investors.......) are wicked people o. |
feelamong:Greed is bad but I gotta admit I should have bought more than I did. Reinvested my dividend and added some extra cash but but but I should have bought more ![]() |
Manonamission:http://nairametrics.com/nigeria-records-gdp-growth-rate-of-0-52-nigeria-still-in-a-recession/ This is expected, isn't it? |
fxuser:MPC triggered? Was there a free-for-all or were chairs flying at the MPC today? ![]() |
Are we sure GTB is not up to something? This premium is too high nah. ![]() |
fxuser:Zenith and now UBA. Which is next? I wonder if this was mentioned at their respective AGMs. |
db15:Some registrars require that your signature specimen is transmitted by your broker via CSCS i.e you complete a share transfer form with your broker who then forwards to CSCS. Data is shared or reconciled between the CSCS and Registrars on a daily basis. For a once and for all solution, try to get your signature specimen across as described above by buying shares of a company administered by a registrar. You only need just one of the stock under the Registrar's portfolio. Subsequent stock purchases won't require a signature specimen if already done for a stock in the registrars portfolio. However, a registrar once gave me a form to fill and sign after which I was asked to get my bankers to confirm the signature. I didn't have to go via the procedure I described above. Not sure if it was APR or Cardinal stone. |

that's why I told him (peterichy) and myjoy84 (Godisfaiful), to stop speaking like God...only God knows the future. Simply never forget to add "this is my thought"
