Priscy01: Joro shared a yet shocking story of a bride-to-be who is currently in a dilemma and needs advise from matured minds.
She revealed her fiance is from a rich family, and she has gotten gifts from his family… But the problem is he has slept with 3 of her bridesmaids..
Read her story below: “This is concise as I’m too distraught to type. I’m meant to get married soon. My fiancee is from a rich family. His fam bought me a car, land amongst other things for wedding gift.”
“As at today I have millions in my account from wedding money as gift. He was dreamy to me. My all. But I’m in a quandary now. I don’t know if I should go ahead with the wedding. My family thinks I should. I realize people change when they see money.”
“I realize people change when they see money. My family doesn’t care about the cheating because they know I’ll be financially secure. Cutting the story short.”
“I found out my fiancee has slept with 3 of my friends on my bridal train. I saw this in a text he was sending to his friends and bragging. I’m so ripped apart. I can’t eat or sleep.”
“I confronted him and I said I needed time to rethink. He has been crying. I love my girls but I’m not mad at them. Is it weird I’m mad at him alone. He sleep with them all while we were dating. Please public opinion matters.”
http://www.torimill.com/2017/12/found-out-my-he-has-slept-with-3-of-my.html My first reaction without thinking too far........ baby girl, cancel your bridal train. If this is true, you obviously have SHARKS not friends |

Back in day, Lagos used to be separate from the Western Region as Lagos was the Capital territory. After the capital was moved to Abuja, Lagos was claimed by the western Region.
I have always maintained that had Lagos never been made capital of Nigeria by by the British, Yorubas would not have been able to make it what it is today You wrong. 80% of the total landmass of current Lagos State was part of Western Region. Check the records. And when Lagos was made a state in 1969, there existed Lagos State Government with capital at Ikeja while FCT was at Lagos Island. Tell me the state govt didn't do anything since 1969 to develop the state. Are you minding "Indomie-generation" village rats? |

Hey mapet good news. Thanks Bro. This opens interesting dimensions.... 1. It sure opens a flood-gate of FOI-backed request which could date back to 2011 2. It will open a lot of can-of-worms. The suspicion of corruption in state governments as monumental is probably about to be unveiled. 3. This bodes well for our polity and economy. The era of "consultants" (who are in most cakes white-collar crooks and book-cookers) are about to start facing its exit 4. I suspect this court case would be fought and resisted all the way till supreme court gives a verdict. Ps: Let's not forget to praise Abike Dabiri that sponsored this bill |

izombie: yes i am happy to pay in south africa because you actually see that your toll money is used very well. The roads are built to last a decade or even more and they are constantly maintained. I've actually asked some construction workers why they were working on a road that did not even have one pot hole and he told me that it was time to reconstruct. In our naija its different. New road you said. We all know that the only thing fashola and co will do on a 100km road is to tar about 5 km to the toll gate and 5km after the toll gate. If our roads become like south african roads i will be more than happy to pay toll fees. I'm curious, what do you do in South Africa? |

Politics › Re: Italy Apologizes To Nigerian Government For Hurriedly Burying 26 Girls by mapet: 8:48am On Nov 24, 2017 |
Litmus: Nigeria really needs to find a way to take responsibility for Nigerians alone. A part of this means finding a way to challenge international news that seem to lazily label all black Africans Nigerians. I note for instance that after noisily announcing to the world that Nigerians are being sold as slaves in Libya, the latest news, that people from Niger were largely the ones being sold, is being broadcast and is quietly going unoteiced. Also, the nationals of men responsible for organising and exploiting theses migrants have been caught and they hail from Senegal, Mali, Niger and others but not Nigeria.
Why can't Nigeria find a way to challenge these naratives. when Johnathan was in power he was wise enough to understand the power of information. He had a minister responsible for Nigeria's image but this was laughed at by those who call themselves Nigerians but it was a clever move.
The current government must find a way to take to task international news media, force them somehow to broadcast only researched news. Nigeria has to find a way to punish the larger more consiquental inaccurate News on Nigeria by international news organisations. I agree with you in part. But international media must also demonstrate responsibility in reportage. For example, it is curious that up till this moment, no member of the family of the 25girls supposedly from Nigeria has come out to identify them. Are we really sure they are truly Nigerians? Why didn't the Italian govt wait for autopsy before rushing to bury them? Yes we need to give our narratives, but I believe energy should be channelled into continuing the rebuilding of our country. |

Slymonster: : Why do they need to apologize to a country that didn't respond quickly. They act like as if they care, only because it has brought shame a little to them. It's a pity those migrant got citizenship through death. The kind of people ruling us and the one that claims to be a pastor as vice president is worrisome. A government that can't take care of it citizens or even close or make that land route rigorous and hard to libya and morrocco which nigerians have been using since i came into this world.Look at the numbers of nigerians that are slaves in libya, have they hold an emergency african union meeting to talk and respond about it.Other European countries are protesting about it but the so call Giant of africa and african union hasn't responded.
Wonder how people from the age of 13,14 to 18 get to go through such route and nothing is done These are illegal immigrants who want to go to Europe by all means without passports or visa. They know all the hardship you are talking about. It is a risk they willingly take. Nigerian government has no hand in it. It's just hard luck. The Italian government gave a date, and with no additional information went ahead and buried the girl's on earlier date. So what's your problem here? Bros, You know it seems that Nigerian have decided to mortgage their brains and values for hatred. Is it today that many of these girls have been taking such route, going through despicable conditions, forking out as much as $4k - $8k for such trips all in the name of wanting to make it in Europe. Many of these girls (especially the notorious Edo extractions) are recruited as prostitutes and sex-slaves, many go willingly and serve as prostitutes only to come back as millionaires. Alas our values have been so eroded that we "hail" them when the come back with lots of monies....... I am surprised that ido.ots on this forum can so shamelessly blame government for people who chose to put their lives at risk. People have been traveling via this route for over 20yrs. The year a government decided to boldly address it, you blame such govt. Abike Dabiri-Erewa has overseen the repatration and resettlement of over 5000 Nigerians, some of them are given financial assistance to resettle, some helped with small scale businesses. Our useless social media foools will not take note of that. I mean ask yourself, which responsible parent will send his/her "13,14 to 18 get to go through such route" just for money? How can a responsible parent raise $4k to send their daughters to Europe knowing fully well that they will end up being prostitutes. Blame the "people rulling us" at your peril. We need to start telling ourselves the hard truth, we are responsible for many of our mishaps. |

Blue3k2: Amazing Nigeria can grow the economy by 9 billion dollars by essentially enforcing rule of law. The mineral sector has plenty of potential especially if Nigerians process them and move up value chain. Easy example being iron, and steel. 1. It will surprise you that many of these illegal miners are actually in collaboration with foreigners (Chinese, Indians etc). What that tells you very quickly is that there is a market outside the country that receives these goods. 2. Makes me wonder what previous Ministers/Govt had been doing. Diezani left this same ministry and went to petroleum. Seems they all marked time or what? We just allowed this industry to practically go undeveloped, unregulated and free for all. 3. Fayemi is doing a thankless job. Our solid minerals industry value-chain will take a long time to fully mature. It will need commitment and painstaking sieving the wheat from the chaff to get it to fully take-off. 4. I have some fears. I hope Fayemi's team understand the terrain they are taking the fight to. Illegal miner are like smugglers. They are weaponised and very dangerous. They have opened fire on NSCDCs in the past. Fayemi's team better be well equipped. Toyota vehicles are not enough. They need weaponised vehicles, choppers and drones. The value-chain building process is another discusssion |
